"X is a trash fetish" and rule 1 question

So simply saying "X is a trash fetish" is allowed so long as it's just a general declaration of dislike and not aimed at another user in particular, or at least that is what I assume.

However, if someone in the thread has already stated they like said fetish beforehand or is the one who brought it up in the first place, and another user says "X is a trash fetish" soon afterwards without quoting the original user, does that count as a rule 1 violation? In this case it's hard not to assume that this is aimed at least partially at the other user.
