XF2 transition feedback

So one of the reasons I was looking forward to the XF2 shift was the ability to search conversations, but when I went to search one of my long-running conversations to see if I'd already brought something up, the search refused to show anything from before March. There was a month long gap between the latest unsearchable post on Feb 22 and the earliest post where a keyword provides a valid search result on March 21, so I can't say exactly when the searching stops, but yeah.
 
Doesn't XF or XF2 have a proper WYSIWYG editor?

It is really annoying to copy-paste QUOTE tags and the like.
