Omake: The Shamanic Path: A Guide to Onmyoudou

Onmyoudou is the most famous and traditional japanese Shaman Art, or otherwise esoretic cosmology, a mixture of science and occultism.

This art was introduced in Japan in the 6th Century, and it's based on the Wu Xing (Five elements: Fire, Earth, Wood, Metal and Water) and the Yin-Yang philosophies. It also mainly branch in sealing arts, elemental mastery at his highest peak, and Divination. It's influenced by Buddhism, Shintoism and Taoism, and the main user of this family were the Tsuchimikado Family (at this time inactive or mostly dead) and the Asakura Family, who is now the main pratictioner: Asakura Hao, the first of the Family, was most known for this shamanic art.

The Onmyoji, the ones who make use of the Onmyoudou, were numerous before the fall of the esoretic ways, and many worked in high positions in the royal courts. Hao himself was one of the most known, together with the legendary Abe no Seimei. It was said that Hao was so powerful that he could divine everything he wanted, bend any oni and spirit to his will and manipulate the nature surrounding him like nothing: the mastery of such powers are frightening, that's sure.

Nowadays they blend with the Shinto priest, and mainly work as mediums, spiritualists, dvinators, exorcists and so go on. Nonethless they still are important in the Japan Occult World.

This was the quick descrition of Onmyoudou his grandfather gave him when he started learning it: now, at the peak of this art just like his brother, he truly knowns how powerful it is, making Hao an even more formidable person; he now understand that if he didn't master it, Hao would have ripped him apart easily, even if he didn't wanted. The sheer possibilities are infinite, and the power to found and gain some of the most powerful Japanese spirits would be extremely useful to his cause.

Same. Also to the people who wanted us to switch something for art, I considered it, bu seeing us max 2 skills this turn I'm glad I didn't.
