• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Oh, yeah I checked if Grease monkey works on Android Firefox and it looks to do so fine, it didn't last time I needed it.

Your pictures are still showing up as dead/broken links in the post. I can see them in the reply, though.
Yeah, as I said, this works locally since it modifies the html inside of your browser after it is fetched. And they should be clickable links iirc.

You need to install grease monkey and add that script I posted to it to be able to see images alright.

Even then it can be a bit capricious.

This is why I hate frontend stuff.

Testing

Images remain borked on my end. Work around/solution?

EDIT: Testing again

Edit 2X combo!: Nope, still borked.

The collected bugs were all DNS related.
QQ proxies and caches the images with the tag whenever it can- however, when DNS for the server isn't working, it can't reach out to the URL provided to grab the pic.
Same with sending email- can't find the email domain, can't send.
As to why logging in with email and password changes were broken, apparently XF checks the email domain during authentication before it even checks its own user list.

Remember, kids!

Okay it's starting to work for me now I just had redownload the pictures.

Went and tried to post in one of the NSFW threads and it still won't show in the previews so not sure it's fixed quite yet.

Tossed a Priscilla pic in there no problem. Seems everything's fixed...
It might be on my end then, because I posted immediately after yours and mine just ended up borked.

Which is weird since I can see images in the previews just fine here in this thread.

LoL, yeah DNS problems can be a bitch at times.
I understand checking that the domain exists and that there are things like MX records when creating or updating the account, but for just login that is pretty retarded.

How the hell did your DNS resolution break?
Stub resolver acting up?
Messed up resolv.conf
Or did your peovider block UDP and try to make you use their DNS servers?

Professional curiosity. ;)
