    General news update:
    Recoil, being next up, will be posted on Tuesday (I can only collaborate with my beta on my days off, and I'm working through Monday).
    However, due to discussions with my beta on Slippery Slope, I now have a much firmer idea on how to proceed and I have chapters 9 and 10 both partially written. So I might yet be writing that alongside my regularly voted stories, and bringing it to a close in maybe 15 chapters overall.
    Assuming nothing untoward happens, of course.

    In other words, most likely, both Recoil and Slippery Slope are soon to go off the voting list due to ending, very possibly to be replaced by stories that I actually like.

    Since I don't read Slippery Slope, I'm rather pleased that it's ending (not a matter of writing quality, from what I recall, just not to my taste). More chances that the ones I like will be updated.
