And if I remember correctly, you first objected to that because the lizarkons, aka the people the Thanagarians treat as slaves or second class cheap laborers at best, don't have legal rights, so they shouldn't be allowed to have a say in their future and just let the Thanagarians keep enslaving them.

Already pointed out how this is wrong, you trying to reinterpret what was said to mean something completely different doesn't change it.
