Imgchest is my go-to for hosting pictures I want to post to QQ, but while I can upload videos there as well, I can't then share them here in any way other than a regular link. Unless I've missed something obvious, which is also entirely possible. While this has been an issue exactly once so far, uh, tl;dr they made an actually good local whatever-to-video AI model now, and I'd like to be able to share some of those results in the relevant threads here without hosting them on like, Reddit or Twitter, or uh, the Russian Ice Hockey League website, is an option apparently.

[media] has a whitelist for approved websites that Imgchest isn't on yet. I... apparently clipped the actually relevant part of my suggestion at some stage of rewriting it.
Wow.
So, yes, if we could get [media] to accept Imgchest links, that would be ideal.
My understanding is that Imgchest doesn't have an oEmbed endpoint, so a small amount of actual work on QQ's side may be involved in that, but from what I can tell it would be very simple.
