So, I have a habit of not immediately going to literally every thread I'm watching when someone posts to it.

And, unlike some of the other BBcode forums, QQ lacks a 'Persistent Alerts' option to make it so I can continue to get alerts for threads I don't visit frequently.

Can we please have this added?

alethiophile and tehelgee might be able to look into this, but I don't think Xenforo has this capability.

You know you can just go to unread watched threads and see a list of new posts you've yet to read, right?

It also doesn't distinguish OP posts from other posts, which alerts can.

Xenforo is capable of doing this, as I know visiting alerts page on SV/SB doesn't mark all of them read.

Specifically, "Alerts page skips mark read" for XF1, 2 and "Alerts pop-up skips mark read" for XF2, just based on what I can see on my settings pages at SB/SV.
