The incredulous disbelief that you can sometimes hear in the narrator’s voice really makes some of the videos. Like the one where a cardboard manufacturer saw they had a leaking steam tank and decided they’d just get it looked at next week and would keep running it like normal.

I gave Open AI the following prompt.

Write a one act play about a falafel maker who dreams of stardom and herself writes a play about falafel.

And this is what it gave me:

(The stage is set with a small falafel shop in the background. A woman, SAMIRA, is frantically running around, flipping falafels and taking orders from customers.)

SAMIRA: (to a customer) Yes, of course! One falafel pita with everything on it, coming right up! (to herself)
Oh, I can't believe how busy we are today. I barely have time to think.
(SAMIRA's boss, AHMED, enters the stage.)

AHMED: Samira, I need you to start prepping for the lunch rush. We're going to be swamped.

SAMIRA: (exasperated) Ahmed, I've been prepping all morning. I can't keep up with the demand.

AHMED: (sighs) I know it's tough, but we've got to keep up with the competition. Those other falafel shops are always trying to steal our customers.

SAMIRA: (frustrated) I know, I know. But sometimes I just wish I could do something more. Something...exciting.

AHMED: (laughs) Exciting? Like what? You're a falafel maker, Samira. That's your job.

SAMIRA: (dreamily) No, I want to be a star. I want to be on stage, performing for crowds of people.

AHMED: (skeptical) On stage? Doing what?

SAMIRA: (eagerly) I've been working on this idea for a one-act play. It's about a falafel maker who dreams of stardom, just like me. And she writes a play about falafel, and it becomes a huge success.

AHMED: (amused) A play about falafel? That sounds...unique.

SAMIRA: (enthusiastic) I know it sounds crazy, but I just have this feeling that it could work. I mean, who wouldn't want to watch a play about their favorite food?

AHMED: (shrugs) I don't know, Samira. It's a big risk.

SAMIRA: (determined) I know it is, but I'm willing to take the risk. I can't keep flipping falafels for the rest of my life. I need to follow my dreams.

AHMED: (thoughtfully) Well, I can't stop you from pursuing your dreams. But just remember, this falafel shop is your livelihood. Don't forget about that.

SAMIRA: (nodding) I won't forget, Ahmed. I just need a chance to prove myself.

AHMED: (smiles) Good luck, Samira. I hope your play becomes a huge success.

SAMIRA: (smiling) Thanks, Ahmed. I hope so too.
    (The curtain closes.)

Please just tell me your real name does not include "Samira" in it. If it somehow does, that would be deeply existentially worrying.

See, if you were serious there, it wouldn't be so bad. But if your name was Samira, you would have to deal with the fact that the AI conjured a tale of someone like yourself writing a play about someone like your self writing a play about the subject of falafels, which would mean that the AI managed to be three levels of meta and once removed entirely by coincidence.

Ahmed is not involved in that.

    Crazy stuff either way.

I have had this image sitting in my hard drive for a while now, but I didn’t know where it was from. Then I discovered reverse image searching, and discovered the artist in less than a minute. This is artwork of Lina Inverse from “Slayers”, made by DAV-19 on deviantart.

I am very pleased with myself.

I had an odd series of dreams occur back to back due to sleeping in this morning, but I have to ask: does anyone know of a work of fiction called Valentine: Coast-to-Coast?

I'm not sure if it was a dream or a memory, that's why I'm asking, it was extremely detailed to the point of me remembering an interview with the creator/author.

Essentially, it was about two twins, a brother and a sister, finding themselves in a completely desolate, Great Salt Lake city in Utah. Though instead of being a survival-oriented story, it quickly became weird in that they both started to develop powers: the sister was more tactical oriented by summoning any kind of weapon and skeletons, while the brother was more like this technology-equipped predator: nanomachines, a suite of super-human powers, armor and claws.

...For some reason, they have schizophrenia and end up fighting because of their delusions (the brother started hunting his sister because he thought she abused him severely before kicking him out of "the group") while the sister believed that he had mutated into something like Tetsuo: The Iron Man (she literally describes him like this).

Another one I remember about it, was the moon always being described/depicted as blood-red and something that scared the both of them something fierce (they believed whatever killed everyone else in the world comes in the night).

There was something else but I vaguely remember it, something about the brother being contacted by an arabic ghost to... do something.

But yeah, that was what I remember and whenever I think about it, I can't help but feel that this is one of those story's that have a sizable amount of fanfiction written about it.

So... do you guys know about Valentine: Coast-to-Coast? Does this thing actually exist or did I dream it all up?

I don't really know about its existence, but I think you entirely dream it up.

I've also been having the same experience with a story that didn't even exist, either it was original works or fanfictions.

    Oh, by the way.
Does anyone have a story recommendation where the premise or theme of the story is that something is wrong, but they didn't know what it is wrong with a twist where there is nothing happens and everything is just entirely inside their head?

Is there any good recommendation for Android Browser besides Chrome that have built-in Incognito Mode?

I just don't want to deal with the abudance of history search bars that gonna come out everytime I tried to search something.

I use the Android version of Firefox because I use Firefox on my desktop and I want my bookmarks to be able to sync between browsers.

It does contain an incognito mode.

    Thanks for the recommendation.
Its UI need some time getting used to.

I knew but somehow Firefox is slow in my laptop and phone so I wanted something else, thanks for the suggestion though.

I didn't really knew that much about Duck Duck Go but from my personal experience with my laptop when I was trying other Browsers ruined my overall opinion of it.
    But thanks.

So yeah, I appreciate the suggestions from you guys.
