His power is to steal skills, not copy them. I highly doubt Max is going to let Victor steal the skills of his recently triggered son. Especially not when his son has just morphed into a perfect recruiting poster for the Empire.

I could also borrow the tabbed Charms setup I made for Fiend!Madison's quest, but that'll be a lot more effort.

OTOH, there are plenty of charms we could use to steal or retrain them right back.

 

But do they know we can do that? There's no reason to suggest that they would use Victor on a friendly cape. Nor do they have reason to believe that his powers would even work on TDP. He wasn't able to do these things before "triggering", so it stands to reason that anything he can do now is the result of a parahuman ability, and Victor's power only works for mundane skills.

 

True. TDP doesn't even know he can do that.

The QM's statements sort of imply that Taylor is actually the other Abyssal, but we'll see.

There was actually a story that more or less had this, though it didn't go anywhere.

Depending on how exactly Victor's power works, he probably already effectively has 5(+3) in a lot of abilities. I would recommend not underestimating him.

5s are really hard to find in order to steal their skills. I'd say he's most likely 3-4 in everything, but not capped at three specialties per ability. He most likely has a full 3-dot specialty in just about anything that could come up.

I agree that underestimating him would be both easy and bad.

Orcus is a good one that isn't likely to be taken, comes from a European culture, and isn't female. (Lots of death deities are chicks, for some reason.) It also has certain connections to our anima power.

 

The question becomes do we want to be called Orcus?

 

There's Dracula, but that might be too on-the-nose. Maybe one of Dracula's conceptual ancestors...
