Theo isn't in any faction, because he isn't officially a member of E88 yet.He only has "Friend of the Empire" status only because he is Kaiser's son to protect him from inner gang disputes.

He can't also issue Trial by Combat again because he isn't a member, he would need someone to champion in Theo's place.

Unfortunately yes.

• Theo Ander's is a recognized associate/friend by the upper member's of the E88, which affords him the privilege of Protection.
• The Dark Prince is not a recognized member yet, if he tells members he is a member before it's announced then it looks he is just a liar that needs to taken care of
• If TDP tells the lower members that he is Theo Ander's then he has outed his civilian id.
• If Theo attacks a member then he loses his protection status.
• If TDP attacks a member then that cape persona is a enemy of the Empire, thus cannot be allowed to join or even live.

 

If Theo Stays the night at Sabah's, with Victor and Othalla knowing that fact . then they will just consider the rumours groundless.

 

Or they will start sending girls at Theo for correction.

Or more likely, that it's a thing she does to titilate.

 

The trick, then, is to not get caught. We won't merely attack our internal enemies; we'll kill them.

(Alternately, we could frame our internal enemies as 'the real traitors' and then execute them with cause. That way, they're dead and we smell like roses.)

 

Hookwolf could just order a mook to attack Sabah the moment he gets wind of these rumours about her, Krieg would subtly encourage Hooky to do it, not because he believes the rumours but just because Sabah is competition against his Niece, Rune.

 

We already kinda want to kill Hook and Krieg, because they're likely to put themselves in front of TDP during the inevitable succession crisis. If either one of them begins to threaten Sabah, we can move up the timetable a bit.

 

[X] The Wards are likely to leave soon, it is getting late. You could speak with them before they leaved, perhaps someone other than Vista? (Who are you kidding? Vista is the best Ward. Still, though)

We need some way of reaching her if we plan on further interaction. New wave is publicly known, so we can meet them whenever, but Vista is a Ward, and we won't get many chances.

 

WE could have Theo convince Krieg to champion in a trial by combat against Hookwolf in a promise to date Rune, that way TDP's rivals in succession of the Empire are tricked in killing each other off.

 

Murder for a date? I doubt it.

 

What about a promise of marriage then... is that worth it's weight in blood?

 

Good luck convincing the players on that one. Especially when 'stab them to death' is an option.

It's not like Theo is realistically expected to honor a private deal made with a dead man like Krieg..... after all dead men tell no tales.

 

Plus it would lock us into TDP x Rune and I've been shipping TDP x Dark Princess Amelia since page 7.

 

That's what the 'Dark Princess' descriptor is meant to indicate, though I'd rather TDP be horrible fascist scum without being Literally A Nazi.
