Just fought in my first Buhurt tournament, I hurt, its hot, my heads kind of ringing from one guys axe strike, and I'm pretty sure Im going to throw up sometime tonight but I cant wait until the next one!

Did I accidentally just give a character serial killer or sociopathic vibes? Yep, and I'm keeping it in.
You know when you reach a point in your writing when everything becomes awkward, like you've done the thing that you wanted to do, and you can't imagine a way to move on from the awkward silence the characters are left in? I've learned to play into, have one of the characters call out the awkward situation, and force pivot into another direction.
*Slowly peaking over my desk to look around the site. I glance down at the writing.* "Soon," I whisper to myself. "You will be published soon."
