• A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Hello there. Completely new to the site. One of the fics I like just apparently has some additional content on here, but from what I gather I need to have my account approved to see them?
I would greatly appreciate an approve of my account. Thanks!
(Also, Gmail is fine, right? No issues with it? I don't think it's microsoft.)
Hi, can I please get my account approved? It says the account needs to be approved by an administrator and you're the only one I found with the role who's online. Sorry for the spamming.
Hello. Here to request verification please due to the known email issue with QQ and verification emails. Thanks for the help. Cheers.

hi alethiophile. i am waiting for approval.what is the average wait time. Coming from SB and SV. the author told on QQ there will be NSFW part of their work since SB won't allow it. Thank you for your time.

Hi, is it against policy to tell people who reported them? I made a bad joke and want to apologize.

Hi, sorry to bother you. My account Ivarage has been pending approval for weeks, so I made a second account, DumDumDum, not knowing multiple accounts weren't allowed. Could you approve DumDumDum? I'm fine with Ivarage being merged or closed, whichever's easier. Sorry for the hassle, thanks for your time!
Hello. Made this account a while ago and did not receive a required approval email. At first i thought it had Something to do with the email not being received, but when remembering my account here and changing my password i received the email just fine. Could you lend a helping hand? Thank you in advance. Edit: issue solved. But thank you regardless.

A question on forum mechanics, do you know exactly how long drafts are preserved by the QQ textbox? I know it is at least two days, but I am just really curious about the actual number. I was told an admin might know.
Hello! Can I have my account approved, please? I have been waiting for a verification for maybe 2 weeks now, and I only just found out about the gmail problem.

Where is the right place for asking "is there a threadmark downloader? Either an extension, an app (like the vote tally-er that still works), or somekind of site that somehow can download xenforo threads and counts QQ". Suggestions and Bugs forum? General chat thread?
    CriticalFailure

It feels a bit off for "suggestions and bugs", because I am not asking for the function to be created in QQ, too niche. Just wanting to ask a crowd if they know of any. It could fall under 'general chat' thread, but that thread is so broad it counts basically everything.
Should I just make a new thread in "General" forum?

I had no idea I needed to post, would've just waited for an email, don't tell me it's all manual

Would you mind looking at my suggestion? Surprised its drawing so much flak.

    Tag Voting

Many stories and quests are untagged or undertagged, and some are incorrectly tagged. Back when QQ was much smaller this wasn't such a huge problem, but as QQ's content portfolio explodes more efficient search becomes imperative, and more complete tagging is a flexible and effective solution...

    "So much flak."

Reality: Two people bringing up current policies, with one of them arguing one point, and a third person genuinely opening dialogue with you over these ideas.

    C'mon, bruh.

I wanted an admin I've interacted with before to look at my suggestion, news at 11

Did I suggest moderator action against others? Nope.

This is cringe, you've gotta stop being so paranoid.
