For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.

Yes, I first saw that song years ago. The problem is that I don't think force output has ever depended on remaining charge level. Back in the old days when the ring had a 24-hour limit it was just as powerful in hour 23 as hour 1. More recently, charge drops as the ring is used.
Although now that I think about it, perhaps a green rings effectiveness would drop off as it neared zero charge, for a rookie at least.
It's possible their fear of running out of power would interfere with their will, but that would be a user issue, not the ring itself. Hopefully that would be one of the things drummed out of them during basic training.
