As in, what I post and think will be received as a bit of cleverness is being taken badly. My mojo is drained or something.

It's a case of feeling like my version of the world and what should be amusing in it is making others treat me like a diseased dog.

Recently found out that this may be a typical worst fear for someone with INFP in the Meyers-Briggs world.

Yeah- the spiral clock thing might be part of the problem, so I found a new Holly-esque model.

Meyers-Briggs personality type: Introverted; iNtuiting; Feeling; Perceiving. My opposite would be Extroverted; Sensing; Thinking; Judging. It relates to Jung's personality archetypes.
The funny part is that I thought I was INTP. Turns out I rely on my gut more than logic.

The Myers-Briggs personality test is nonsense, though. Why are you using it?

    Oh... that's disappointing.

    Thanks for the knowledge though.

It's not 'nonsense'; it just isn't a scientifically proven model for behavior. For my own part, even if there is no proven clinical value to the assessments, the concept of the archetypes and their commonalities is literarily interesting and informative. I don't consider it a diagnosis so much as a guide for consideration. Of course, I also believe in luck.

Others have been identified as having similar issues to my own. If there is a consensus of how those people have recognized their issues and found effective ways to avoid pitfalls in behavior, I find it interesting to see if those ways are more effective for me as well.
