    Danmachi power system has got to be one of the most worthless things ever. None of the numbers really matter and no one cares about them after each level, the big "level 1/2/3/whatever" only matter when the protagonist isn't there, the super special protagonist halo in the abilities is just a scaled down version of the OP JRPG cheat skills screen, and everyone's just arbitrary in power feats

    So the reason why Douluo Dalu is called the "sewer gutters of xianxia genre", one reason is because of the trashy (but still better than RWBY) writing, but the main reason is that the MC could kill the peak power level people with gadgets from a middle level wuxia world, as well as the cultivation methods from a second rate sect stolen by the MC in that world are OP and considered cheats in Douluo Dalu
