I know I just posted more of Star Trek: The Fractured Frontier, and I was planning on writing more to make that hit 30K for NaNo, but one of my horses is dying, so I probably won't be writing today. Maybe not tomorrow either. I'm sorry for the delay.
Any chance you will go back to your Star wars and vampire quests?
I apologize for my lack of activity this month, I have been alternating between sick and busy for the past few weeks. And without enough spare time to write more than maybe 300 words at a time, I decided to plan out a Metroid/Mass Effect story as a thought experiment, and now I wanna actually do it because I think I'm cooking there.
Looks like it's another stare at my keyboard for hours without typing day. Grrr. Probably doesn't help that I'm constantly trying to decide between more of my DC story, my Fire Emblem story, or a Marvel story that I really don't need to start.
Screw it, I'm just gonna play Pokemon and watch the rain.
Apologies for a relative lack of activity, I watched The Pitt over the weekend, and all my ideas are currently leaning towards medical dramas, which I definitely should not write, because I'm not a doctor, and the writers of House MD are probably more knowledgeable than I am about medicine.
Fantastic show, though. I thoroughly recommend The Pitt, 10/10, very stressful watch.
Is it just me, or does interaction on quests seem lower than average for anyone else?
I mean, I'm not the most popular writer out there, but 2 votes in over 4 hours, especially on the first proper chapter is…really low, by my estimation.
Sat down to write, and just when I started to get my momentum going, I get a call from my mother telling me the dogs have killed a skunk and I have to help her get it away from them, and get the smell out. So much for a productive day of writing.
Been a little while since I updated any of my stories here. Sorry about that. I've been reading books, watching TV, and playing video games when I haven't been doing work around the house. Trying to recharge my creative batteries, so to speak. Hopefully, I'll have time to do some writing next week and on the weekend.
Ugh. Set aside time to work on Octavia's interlude stories for Vampire Quest today. I got a whopping two sentences written in 8 hours. Hate it when this happens.
For Christmas this year, I made my very first beef wellington, and it turned out really well! Probably could have done with the crepes to protect the pastry, the bottom was a bit soggy, but it tasted great! Happy Holidays everyone!
Alright, if anyone comes to check on progress updates on my works, I'm a little exhausted from being best man at my friend's wedding. That moment when I just finished a chapter of a story, but I've long since realized it's not a good idea to update on weekends, so I have it sitting in my docs folder till Monday. Well, Rulers of Krakoa fans have waited 3 months, they can wait two more days.
…so, early this week, one of my dogs passed, and yesterday I fell about five feet directly onto a metal jack, hurting my back.
Not my week, to say the least.
Despite all that, I'm, for the first time in months, feeling the urge to revisit DC Quest. We shall see how that goes when I get to typing.
Well, despite being technically too far inland for Hurricane Beryl to hit me too hard, the remaining storm front still dropped several tornadoes on my head. Awesome.
