An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
Our mod selection process has completed. Please welcome our new moderators.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
Looking at your account history, yes. You had the DivineRace account merged in April, and then a name change from Omnigod back in June if I'm reading this correctly. You'll need to wait until mid October to change your name again, if I remember things right and counted correctly.
Not a surprise. It's not a secret but it's not really written anywhere like in the rules, because it doesn't need to be when it's regulated by the settings the admins used for the name change system.
There's a maximum number of name changes people are allowed within a certain time frame. Twice within six months, if I recall right. If people change their names too often, it gets confusing and hard to tell whom is whom for other users.
I will not be changing your name. Wait out the timer until...
That is absolutely part of what I didn't go into there, yeah. For nobles, and for merchants, depending on the specific story. Particularly merchants from far away places like China or India, where the culture was very different and neither party understood one another's language very well.

I think I first put that tag up after a similar spiel I went on in one of your own threads once, actually
We get payment in the form of headaches, complaints, and occasionally opportunities to laugh at poorly-executed gaslighting attempts.
I would say we get paid in hate mail too, but I genuinely haven't seen much of that. Shadowclonier must be supremely unlucky on that front.
Just so you know, you can always PM one of us if you have questions about that sort of thing, or create a thread here in the Announcements and Rules subforum and ping one of us if you want the question to be public.
At the very least, don't make it about SB and their mods in particular. Not wanting a certain type of person to gain power here is relevant enough, but that's not what you said. You made it about SB's mods in particular, which is a group of people not a type of person, and makes it a hard...
Is that an "Ok, I'll wait for an admin to be available and see what they say," an "Ok, hit me with a rants ban," or an "Ok, thanks for the info I'll just think about it for now?"
I don't believe we can "hide" an area from a specific user in that way, unless maybe with admin tools (in which case you would want @ultima333 or @alethiophile ), but we can definitely give you a ban from the Rants subforum with a note that it was self-requested.

I wasn't stating an opinion, just explaining the sort of reactions one might expect. People don't like it when someone uses AI and appears to be trying to hide it. What you're describing isn't really relevant to the question that was asked.
Also, about half of what you're describing is...
Technically speaking, you don't even have to state that it was made with the help of AI, as there's no rule against it. Though, using AI for your writing without saying so is generally considered to be "a dick move" by a lot of people. Anything that is even partially AI-generated tends to be...
A few of the other mods such as @Biigoh, @TotalAbsolutism, and @Megaolix have also recently been given access to some of those tools. They also might be able to help you.
