  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Hi. So I wish to report a problem.

I noticed that everytime I click a link leading to any of QQ's NSFW content I get directed to the Log Screen.

Thing is. This happens when I am logged in with my account here already. Even if the link is on a NSFW page as well. Is this a bug?

There's, like, two QQs, for some reason, though I can't remember what the exact difference is in the URLs. If you're logged into one, but not the other, links to the one you're not logged into behind the wall will result in it asking you to log in (as you see). I imagine logging in once more should solve it?

Don't have the energy right now to go find out why this happens, but it's known.

Huh. That is quite weird. Hopfully this gets fixed sooner or later and thanks for the help.

The difference in urls is that one is just questionablequesting.com and the other is forum.questionablequesting.com.

IIRC, alethiophile explained once that logging into questionablequesting.com doesn't also log you in to forum.questionablequesting.com (or vice versa) because the act of logging in generates a cookie in your browser that only works for that url.

The thing is, that would affect links posted by people, but it shouldn't affect links generated by the site's software. So if you're browsing the forum list and open a thread in a new tab, or checking your watched threads list, those should work without you needing to log in again.

If that's not the case, then you have a problem that needs to be investigated.

Thats mainly the problem really. For some reason, I get redirected when clicking on a link to QQ to the Log In Screen from the Links od others. Its not just me, others have that problem.

Also kinda a hassle to go find whatever people on QQ link to on QQ. I don't want to relog in every fucking time.

So the issue is the site works on two different names kind of;
One is https://forum.questionablequesting.com/
The other is just https://questionablequesting.com/
Same site but if you are logged into one and the link is to other you are asked to log in again.
Just pay attention to which one you are on and edit the start of links as needed.
Still a pain in the ass or you can log into both and then it doesn't matter.

If you are on the forum.qq then any any links you click made system side have the forum. In the link. If someone on the non forum.qq posts a link it would be missing the forum. and so it would ask you to login

If you are in the qq without forum. Then the site links don't have the forum. But if someone on the forum.qq posts a link their link will have the forum.qq and cause non forum.qq users the login message

Thanks. Although this should probably be spread to others since I don't usually link on QQ often and I usually just press the links of others.
