Here's an OC character that I created as a part of an idea for a SI fanfic that I've been considering writing with various degrees of seriousness, partially based on/inspired by one of the really old CYOAs back when the CYOA threads on 4chan /tg/ first started. I think it was called "You died", and it was about creating a (female) teenage character that you would be reborn as. If I do wind up writing it, it'll probably be in the NSFW section here, for reasons that'd likely become obvious once you've read her backstory.
Name: Sakura Miller | Alias: undecided (open for suggestions!)
Affiliation: Wards | Alignment: Heroic
Gender: Female | Age: 15 | Build: Models Are Jealous
Ethnicity: Mixed Asian/White | Hair: Brown | Eyes: Brown
Class: Tinker (Specialities: Military Weapons, Neurological Augmentation; Subcategories: Blaster, Brute, Mover, Stranger, Shaker, Thinker)
Power: To put it in Weaver Dice terms, she's a Dual Weld (Binary/Combat) Tinker with the Battalion (War/War) and "Neuroaug" (Psyche/Ego) Specialities. Basically, she's a lightly-armored, stealth/agility oriented tinker who wields two pistols or one-handed weapons, and she gains an extra benefit when she hits an enemy who's affected by an effect from one of her specialties with an effect from the other, encouraging her to use one weapon for each.
The List A items (Primary tinkertech constructions, all of which in this case can take a single upgrade from List B) that she starts off with access to include the Infinity Pistol (an otherwise-normal pistol with infinite ammunition and a slightly higher firing rate), the Needler (full-auto pistol that can't take an upgrade from List B, and fires light flechettes that don't do much damage, but deliver chemical effects from List B), the Rocket Hatched (a hatchet with a rocket on the end for extra power and swing speed, tends to cause collateral damage from high-speed flailing), the Data Knife (parrying dagger that hacks things it's stuck into), Camouflage Shroud (a suit of light armor that includes light-bending and active sounds cancellation systems to maximize stealth), the Rocketboost Shroud (which includes a large rocket motor on the back for primary flight power and a number of others on strategic locations to enhance moblity), the Smoker Shroud (which has tanks full of chemicals on the back and can start billowing clouds of smoke infused with a List B chemical sufficient to fill entire floors of buildings given time to spread), and a Mind-Machine Interfact Implant (which counts as a HUD, lets her wirelessly remote-control compatible tech, has ports for hygienic injections of chemicals directly into the brain, and allows her Data Trinkets to hack things wirelessly).
The List B items (Patterns used to modify other tinkertech, primarily) are the Suppression Pattern (allows guns to fire full-auto, swords to swing faster, defensive items to gain regenerating shield against ranged attacks, and HUDs to detect and track enemies through cover), the Shell Pattern (offensively halves "fire rate" while replacing bullets with explosive rockets that are unblockable AoE damage, defensively grants bonus armor that grants bonus offense when broken, and as a HUD grants a stacking bonus to hit for every missed attack until one hits), the Injection Pattern (allows weapons to inject a List B chemical into enemies on a hit, allows armor to hold a number of doses of a chemical to be safely injected, and on a HUD, grants the user in-depth knowledge about their current medical status and the status of connected technologies, granting a bonus to medical and maintenance skill), the Juvelearn Chem (basically Wyvern from Twig, but only needs to be injected into the brain if you want to receive the beneficial effects), and the Slowmo chem (slows down the perception of time; used offensively, this results in the enemy's reactions being out-of-sync and uncoordinated, but used properly allows the user to react more quickly).
The List C items (miscellaneous tinkerings) include an assortment of Trinkets (single-use items recharged upon returning to the lab) including Defense Trinkets (applies the benefits of a List B pattern for four rounds, doubled on the first round and halved on the last two), Scan Trinkets (allows scanning of parahumans to improve Tinker research), Data Trinkets (small computers that automatically hack anything with a microchip they're attached to), and Syringe Trinkets (hold 5 doses of a chem, but can only be used on willing or helpless targets), along with a tinker-tech Mask (grants immunity to inhaled gasses, blinding, and hearing damage) and a tinker-tech Surgery suite for implanting cybernetics.
Further research could reveal things like further cybernetic implants along the "mental enhancement" or "futuretech military" themes (including things like cyberarms with retractable handguns built into them, spinal column implants to increase reaction times, or neural/arm implants implanted in other parahumans to help them control their powers), different sorts of tinkertech handguns and swords, new types of tinkertech armor (potentially including light Bodysuits that she can wear underneath her Shroud, such as the Commando bodysuit that uses forcefields to protect against ranged attacks and can give the user a "second wind" by regulating bodily responses to injury), or bulkier utility items that she could likely only carry one of at a time, like a Titanfall-esque Jump Pack or a force-field generator that acts by bulking up and reinforcing existing cover.
Not sure what her PRT ratings would be, besides the general categories. Probably no higher than a 6 or 7, though, unless she successfully builds a personal-scale megaproject like Armsmaster's nanothorn halberd or something. That said, though, an invisible, stealthy gunman with the ability to see you through walls, hack into your encrypted radio transmissions and then both listen to and spoof them, and 3-d maneuverability capabilities could very conceivably take down a squad or two of PRT troopers if they play their cards right, so maybe a 6 or 7 would be justified.

Backstory/Trigger event?
Basically, her dad is an ex-Army engineer who met and married her mother when he was deployed there (long before Leviathan sunk Kyushu), and they proceeded to have her. Once he got out, he went and became private security in a relatively small town in the American South, and some of her earliest memories are happy ones of her father teaching her how to shoot. Her mom, on the other hand, became a housewife and something of a tiger mother stereotype, and she always pushed her daughter to pursue a number of extracurricular hobbies: martial arts, musical instruments, sports, sewing, even some degree of electrical engineering after she helped her dad do some wiring in the survivalist bunker he built on their property (mostly just carrying things, at that point, but her mom bought her a bunch of beginner wiring kits from Radio Shack and tinkering soon became one of her favorite hobbies). Her dad's survivalist bunker eventually wound up well known among certain circles in town, and he wound up opening his own business building them for people, which eventually, several months before the start of Worm canon, led to them moving to Brockton Bay when her dad's business got bought out by Fortress Constructions and he needed to move to work more closely with his new boss.
This is when the problems started. Her mom, of course, insisted on her having top grades, and not only put pressure on her to study, but to continue pursuing all of the many, many hobbies that she'd been involved with, and oh, high school's old enough to have a job, and that cafe's got a Help Wanted sign! Then she got to school, and things started getting even worse. Her first day there, after school, she got surrounded and accosted by a group of E88 thugs who implied violence, when one made a passing reference to her sucking his dick. Seeing little other option and no way to escape, she dropped to her knees and complied. The next day, she got accosted by a group of ABB thugs who called her a race traitor, and she responded to their threats by dropping to her knees for them as well. Things soon started escalating, and she soon found herself caught in the position of being exploited by both gangs for sexual favors (backed by the implied threat of violence if she didn't comply), without receiving the protections of being a member of either - and of course, the reputation of being the slut that fucks all the guys in both of the gangs didn't help her popularity with anyone else. And, of course, she can't tell her parents, because she knew that her mother would be Very Disappointed by her becoming a tarnish on the family's name and failing to live up to her expectations, and her dad was always busy with stuff at his new work.
So, she's stuck, hating her life, bound by expectations on one side and implied threats of violence on the other, when she stumbles onto a blog when she's doing her homework one day, that states in plain language that the probability of having a successful marriage is inversely proportional to the number of previous sexual partners the woman's had - that the act of having sex with a person other than their spouse causes permanent psychological damage and impairs the woman's ability to form a pair bond and truly "fall in love". So, she realizes that she can't possibly live up to her mother's expectations - that she's fundamentally broken, and she can't be fixed. So, she writes a short suicide note, then goes and gets the key to her dad's gun safe, and pulls out one of the very pistols that gave her so much joy during her childhood, and puts it under her chin, then, when she's right about to put her finger on the trigger and fire the weapon, she triggers as a parahuman.
As a Tinker, from the long-term, intractable situation. As a Binary Tinker, from the fact that the situation involved two diffferent, interconnected problems. As a Combat tinker, from the themes of violence and weapons within those problems, and thus as as Dual Welder Tinker, the combination of Combat and Binary. As a Battalion-specialty Tinker from the the themes of guns, frustration, rage, ruin, and escalation. As a Neuroaug Tinker from the themes of psychological damage, not being able to meet the cognitive tasks expected of her, and needing to be able to do more with what she has.
This is when the SI wakes up in her body, holding a tinkertech gas mask built from an assortment of items in her dad's survivalist cache.
