Darkness.

Just simple blackness all around you.

You don't know how long you've been in the darkness for. You're not even sure how long it's been since you were actually aware of being in darkness.

However, you do know one thing.

You are dead. Or at least you might have been. You're pretty sure that at some point before becoming aware of the darkness that you died and everything went black. How or why is currently irrelevant. Right now, you're dead.

Except not so much anymore.

However, there is one thought within your what you thing is your mind that you've latched on to.

This thought that is rapidly overwriting all others is that of....

Same here, dude. The lag at BROB pretty much killed off most of my motivation lately so let's see how I do here.

You feel panic begin to rise within you, metaphorically speaking. You think your body is no longer functioning as a biologically living entity so the usual increased heart-rate, sweat and physical signs of distress aren't there.

It's all in your head, your still functioning brain-meats which still function to a degree for some reason despite you being dead and all. You think you have brain damage since you can't remember jack but that's not really relevant to your current situation because you're in the fucking dark without any idea how you got there.

You can't see shit and you're sorta sure that you still have functioning eyes. You feel pretty intact as well and not in an advanced level of decay that you usually see in other zombie movies. That's must be why you're still capable of rational and meaningful thought instead of having brain on the brain-meats all the time. You can figure out the reason why you're not a decaying piece of rotten flesh later though.

It's about high time you get out of the dark.

You feel some kind of pressure around your body though since your sense of touch seems to be very numb.

You try and move your body and to your pleasant surprise, you can sort of move.

It's cramp wherever the hell you are but you think might be able to get out.

You start flailing about like a madman dying and eventually.....

You see light.

Where the fuck were you?

Your attempts to wildly flail about like a fish out of water has yielded results!

Your arm easily punches through the box that you are in, as well as scattering a whole bunch of soft small things. Light filters in through the hole of the box and you continue your struggle for freedom from the darkness.

Within a few seconds, you've torn your way out of the box. The large cardboard box filled with those pink foam things that people use to pad the insides of boxes to keep fragile things safe.

....Wait.

You were in a cardboard filled to the brim with soft foam bits?

What the fuck.

Now that you are in the light, you take quick stock of your current situation as well as the state your body is in.

You're sitting up in a cardboard box which is in the middle of somebody's room. Your body appears to be fully intact save for the stitches all over your body. Oh and you're naked.

You fell self-conscious all of a sudden when you realise this as well as a little concerned about your predicament. Nobody likes naked zombies but that not why you're feeling concerned. What's got you worried is all the stuff that looks like merchandise from all kinds of zombie-based pop culture. Dawn of the Dead posters, zombie figurines, zombie lunchboxes, zombie T-shirts, realisitic zombie heads, and even a zombie dakimakura.

......

You are feeling very nervous right now, despite lacking functioning bodily functions to physically feels so.

What do you do?

[ ] Search the place for clues -clues to why you're here and a zombie!
[ ] Find some clothes and get the fuck out of here.
[ ] Go back into the box and try and go back to being oblivious to the world. Maybe this is all just a bad dream.
