    Welcome to Evil Mage Quest, where one day, you will conquer... Something! Just what do you intend to conquer?

    [ ] Just a small farm in the country, where you can live out your days in peace. Pfft, like that's gonna happen.

    [ ] The city of your birth, infested with corrupt officials and dark cults, should make a nice seat of power.

    [ ] Nothing much, just an entire kingdom.

    [ ] Everything - You want it all!

    Character Creation:

    [ ] Human - Just your run-of-the-mill human. Well-rounded, +25% EXP gain, +50% skill EXP gain.
    -[ ] Name and Gender, Male/Female only.
    -[ ] Appearance (No images, just a description.)

    [ ] Vampire - A soulless being that subsists on human blood. Harder to blend in than as a human. Can drain enemy life force to heal or empower yourself. Sunlight is painful, but not debilitating except on the summer solstice.
    -[ ] Name and Gender, Male/Female only.
    -[ ] Appearance (No images, just a description.)

    [ ] Abomination - You come from the void between the realms, where nightmares are born. Nearly impossible to blend in. Able to summon non-sentient Abominations, and sentient Abominations weaker than yourself. Controlling them takes some effort, however.
    -[ ] True Name, Given Name. Your species is genderless. Do you have a preferred gender?
    -[ ] Corporeal Form Appearance (No images, just a description.)

    [ ] Write-In - Try to keep it balanced.

    Eh, I was bored and I had a loose system written up, so I decided to put it to use. Might eventually become rather gory. If I make any mistakes, don't hesitate to point them out. Updates will be irregular. Lore will be learned mostly via occasional interludes.

    What's the limit on true names for abominations? I'm assuming you won't allow a name that's pronounced through an hour of constant, very precise singing without pause and includes a dozen tongue twisters, forty nine syllables unpronounceable to human mouths, and three words that drive mortals with the mere knowledge of their existence to insanity?

    Not to such an extent, no. It should be difficult to pronounce, but possible to do so in combat. Maybe six syllables.

    Nope. Vampirism is transferable only by a particular ritual in this setting, and there's no half-way point.
