I get you want to push for ai but making your search engine, the thing that built your company from the ground up, useless has got to be the single most dumbest idea to come out of 2026.

People want verified human information when searching, not ai. Because ai is literally stupid. That's why you can't just lay off all those workers.

Except for the ones that get paid to go to adult daycare. with a playhouse in the building and everything.

Another thing. The fuck you thinking about that? I remember google had a slide in one of their buildings years ago. Don't know where I saw it but the employs talked about it.

Goes to show the level of the employs they hired as the face while the few do the work in the background like evil people.

Don't think they're claiming AI will be good at writing porn. Or writing novels in general. That side of AI is pretty underdeveloped because there's no money in it.

It did a pretty good job, IMHO.
Also the fect thet the model is local does not mean it can not look up up to date info for you.

You can urilize RAG(Resource Augmented Generation) by providing it with documents to crawl or letting it call stretch APIs.

I have used another model as a type of writing advisor.

Mostly I make it search for synonyms and terms of phrase.
The results are pretty random.

Anyone ever wonder if you have a reputation on the forum? I realized a while back that I've actually been on QQ and SB for longer than some of the people I consider well known, and that I have a higher post count than some of them. I don't think I have the personality to be quite as memorable though.

Thanks to the heavy rains it is almost impossible to step out without seeing lots of em right now.
Especially the redish-brown types that have no "Mobile home" strapped to the back.
I have never seen so called "naked" snails before, now there is lots of them, more than the housed variety.
I am wondering if this is an invasive species or if they live better in warmer weather.

Some users are just generally known in the community. Now granted, some of that is only in specific sections of the forum. People who don't go on rants won't know who Treble is, and people who avoid DxD won't know Tera Forma. Granted Treble is a bad example for this because he has almost 40k comments. But some of these people have counts in the low thousands.

Everyone is crazy and/or weird, but some people are crazy and/or weird in ways that are more notable than others.

Also, reputation isn't something that requires emotional judgement, it is something that simply requires pattern recognition. The ideal for places like Questionable Questing is that we may be truer to ourselves, with the level of anonymity we desire and are comfortable with, but that our masks may show enough consistency such that we are still recognizable. No matter how batshit we are, as individuals or collectives.

It is, in short...

I just finished playing Summon Knight: Swordcraft Story the other day. It's a Gameboy Advance game with a rather unique setting, taking place in a floating city, and follows the story of combination blacksmith/warriors called craft knights, who make their own weapons with the aid of magical creatures. The city itself is ruled over by the upper echelons of the craft knights, called craft lords, and the whole reason the city exists is to guard over a dungeon in the middle of the ocean that it was built around.

Craft knights summon sapient monsters from another world to serve as their partners (called Guardian Beasts in the game), some of which are kind of similar to pokemon in that they're blatantly inhuman creatures with magic powers that cannot talk, while others are just people from fantasy races that can use magic. Also, each craft knight only has one partner, and when the craft knight dies, the Guardian Beast either returns to their world, or sticks around and becomes a stray summon. That dungeon I mentioned before? Full of stray summons that have gone feral.

The technology of the setting, while not modern, seems to at least have engines figured out, and while I'm not certain on this part, I suspect they've got electricity, as they don't have torch lighting. But at the same time, they've got hidden passages all over the place. The primary means of transportation consists of water scooters, with ships being used to travel great distances, giving it a very unique feel.

Your character is an apprentice craft knight and the child of the deceased Craft Lord of Iron, but they don't have any special powers beyond their training; anyone who's been trained as a craft knight and has a guardian beast could do the same things they do. Nevertheless, their parentage, in conjunction with their growing talent as a craft knight, gives them a unique relationship to the Craft Lords; they are clearly important, not just to the city, but to the nation they're part of.

Overall, I very much enjoyed the game, partly because of how unique it felt. As such, I was looking forward to starting the sequel, which I just started yesterday. And while it has a noticeable graphical improvement over the first game, it kind of feels like a step backwards. The new game's setting: a generic peasant village, as opposed to the floating city of the previous game. You're still playing as a craft knight, but they're just part of the village as opposed to the backbone of the system that rules the city like in the first game. The village is built next to a dungeon to watch over it due to a terrible monster that was sealed within, but it feels significantly less important than the first game, like guards in a backwater village as opposed to the head of the nation.

Again, your character is important because of their parentage, with the main character's father having sacrificed himself fighting off an attempt to free a sealed monster from the dungeon years before, and unlike before, the main character has special powers unique to them due to a summonite gem in their body, but overall they feel less crucial than the first character. With this game, the village is at risk; in the first game, screwing up could cause their nation to fall. Hell, the bad guy of the new game has been suggesting the villagers just leave and go live elsewhere, and it actually feels like an option, even if it's one the characters aren't willing to accept.

Admittedly, I'm not very far into the game, but it just feels wanting in comparison to the first one. Which isn't to say it's bad; just less interesting.

It is red, it looks like a snail, it is called a "naked snail" here.I think that it only lacks the shell, but maybe its eyes are a bit different, haven't looked too closely.
First time I saw them I was like, ok, are these some type of gigantic leeches?

Slugs are closely related to snails, but generally either lack shells or possess internal ones.
