Now I really wish to know how her past on Alderaan could have possibly brought about this unique character.

Secondly, I cannot deny that the Empire definitely has the looks. Sure, I expect the Empire to adopt appearances that instill fear in their enemies, but I see it as something to admire, am I right?

As the empire moved mimics the stylings of ww2 Germany it's understandable that they'd have the edge on fashion. N. Germany had top designers make the basics of the ss uniform, and black goes with almost anything

My advice is to have the canyon glassed from orbit after moving out the civilians, than send in probe droids and if they're attacked conduct grid square removal on that location. And just keep that up until you run out of droids, than have heavy armoured troops with heavy flamers do a sweep.

Maybe, but not likely the investigation is on another planet in another system. While hunting jedi is high up on their list of things to do I would think hunting a potential alchemist augmenting people would be higher on the list. Even if the Inquisitors do not know their history odds are Sidious and the Grand Inquisitor have standing orders about force bio-augmentation.

I think he's going to examine the bodies go 'Oh Shit' and throw it up the chain. They want glory for themselves not the blame for an entire planet ending up being glassed if they fuck up.

Huh, here's a thought. The MC being an Imperial governor might be able to have one or two of those old decommissioned/abandoned Republic medical centers from the Clone Wars brought to his star systems. They worked as both docking centers for resupply of Venators star destroyers and Pelta class frigates along with being medical stations. Having some of those brought back online, then used as both medical centers for spacers along with being specialized for infectious disease research. That is researching vaccines, antidotes, antivirals, antibiotics, and other treatments would be a good use for those medical centers. That the medical stations could be used for treating mass casualty events is just a bonus.

Yea, the sith really had it easy in the making cool looking armor and aesthetics category...

Also the whole connection blocked with Mugwuffin is really giving me deja vu feelings back to the first and second darth bane books and the description of the relationship between darth Zannah/Rain and her cousin Tomcat/(i don't remember Damon or something like that). Where she somehow leant him a considerable portion of her force sensitivity by instinct, so much so that everyone thought he was a considerably strong force sensitive and she was a very weak force sensitive... when in reality he was a mundane human and she was an exeptional force sensitive, so when the force bomb went off he was the only one who didn't get his soul pulled in since the thought bomb only targets force sensitives.

The mugwuffin being a force user in hiding is now quite blatantly obvious... and I wonder if having their connection shared by splitting it in two make them less traceable in some way from long range precognition.

Im forgetting what Mugwuffin's appearance was described as, but I finally decided to look it up in wookipedia and there was a jedi cat in legends. His name was Ikrit and he was a member of the Kushiban species, was mugwuffin described in a similar manner because the only thing I remember is the catlike descriptor? But yea i think that's what they were talking about

That tactic could work depending on the size of the canyon and its surrounding area... it could cause alot more environmental damage than expected if its a long deep canyon along a thinner faultline than if its on a thicker one.

Baisically they would need to talk with a geography/planetary terraforming expert to see what long term damages could happen to glassing a considerable portion of a continent...

And it could be a better idea in the longrun to just track down a single point of origin rather than wiping out a whole mountian range economically speaking.... it really depends on how many sources of the wretches there are and how entrenched they are.

Given they have been shown to move at "land speeder" speed, I acknowledge they 100% have the ability to leap.

I also agree with you that the information disclosed about the Wretches is very worrying. Either the group behind them have cloaking tech, the Wretches can make themselves invisible to scanners, they can burrow between 100-250kph, and/or they can phase through material (possible with the force). Any of those being true, makes things significantly harder for Edin, as walls and prepared positions are not going to be effective. It also makes it much harder to pin them down and make them fight a losing battle, especially if they can burrow through the rock of the canyon. Having groups of 10 wretches "pop-up" in settlements, villages, and towns to wipe them out and then disappear again, would be terrifying. Given their resistance to hand help weaponry there is basically nothing civilians can do against them. A surprise attack on a military base that can't bring sufficient heavy weapon fire to bear could easily be severely damaged or out right destroyed.

If the Wretches can burrow, their strength is worryingly high, making it is very possible they can punch through vehicle and fortification armor. Civilian vehicle and buildings would be like tissue paper to them. Assuming you can approximate a wretch as a circle with a diameter of 1 meter and they burrow at 100kph then they have the ability to move 21.8 cubic meters of material a second, ((π·0.52​·100000)/3600 = 78,539.82/3600 = 21.81m3​ ). While the weight of a cubic meter of dirt varies greatly depending on its type and moisture content, it generally ranges between 1,000 to 2,400 kilograms (1.0 to 2.4 tonnes). So that means they are strong enough to move 21,800 to 52,320 kilograms (21.8 to 52.3 tonnes) a second.

Mugwuffin looks like a lizard, particularly from that monster fighting show whose name I can't remember.

It was described a while back.

The animal was lithe, and most certainly carried with it a sense of danger. However, I could tell it was scared, based on all the hissing it was doing. It had the remnants of whatever kibble the merchants had given it tossed around, and a small water bowl that was nearly empty.

I mean this is almost immediately post Rebels, the Inquistion(Disney) did not have a good time, and I'm guessing those left have to work overtime to make up for it.

Tell me about it. Fighting the Ghost Crew and ?allies? killed off 4 of the members of their very limited numbers. Also the Grand Inquisitor let himself get killed in shame and to avoid punishment.

The remaining members are very desperately trying to stave off the organization being disbanded. Which if it follows canon will be by next year at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if this Inquisitor just decided to hang out/hide on Edin once the Inquisition's disbandment gets announced.
