Me, the person writing this story, is an unreliable person with a really big want to write some fanfictions. I've tried my hands at it a few times, but, never really struck with one long enough to make a comeplete fic. This is another one of my attapets at writing a fanfiction. I'll be upfront, this concept has been in my mind for a while now, but I don't really have an idea of what to write once the first arc concludes. I do have kind of an ending in mind though, that's a plus?! Anyway, as I've already established, I'm an unrealiable person, and most likely won't be updating regularly.

Right, our fic. It's litterally a modern person with not too much knowledge of marvel getting reincarnated into marvel universe with ten shadows technique and saitama's powers. That's it, that's pretty much it.

[He knew the whole time his buddy killed Tony's parents. Not once did he mention it. Just wondering what others thoughts are on the matter.]

{I'm a Cap fan and feel you on this. Cap even admits to the fault later on. He thought he was making the right choice, but was wrong. Sometimes you have information that is going to hurt people regardless of what you do with it - just gotta decide how to proceed. Cap knew Bucky didn't willingly or maliciously do it, but people don't judge on that. He also knew Tony deserved to know. The cat just came out of the bag while he internally debated things. He was gonna lose either way.}

{Considering how Tony reacted when he found out,

{I don't care [that Bucky was also a victim due to HYDRA mind control] he killed my mom

{Steve had fair reason to keep it from him. Tony was always headstrong and impulsive and he could very well have suited up and flown to wherever Bucky was being held and try to kill him. (It wouldn't be the first time he's done something like that).

{Ultimately Steve was in a bad situation where no matter what it was going to hurt one of his friends. Either he makes Bucky a target or he shatters Tony with the revelation.}

{This seems unfair. Tony finding out what happened by watching it play out on screen in an already high stress situation while standing 10 ft from the guy who did it followed immediately by the fact that Steve tried to panic his way out of things is arguably the worst possible way he could have found out.

{If Tony had been given a heads up in an isolated, lower stress situation he probably still would have reacted badly but at least it would have given him a chance to burn through the worst of his feelings without the added burden of Steve's betrayal. While I have a lot of sympathy for Steve I really don't think he could have handled things worse if he tried.}

Eric was scrolling through the forum discussions on Captain America: Civil war, after having watched it for the second time.

Truth to be told, he hadn't really remembered much of the story after his first watch, which was before the infinity war even released in theaters.

Now with the Avengers encore about to be released in preparation for Avengers Doomsday, Eric thought it would be a good idea to binge watch the Marvel Movies. He'd always been a fan of Marvel and had used to watch every movie that came out, often in theaters, even once rewatching the entirety of the marvel collection before Infinity war.

Yet, somewhere along the way, his passion for marvel had fallen off. He hadn't seen any of the movies that came out after Avengers: Endgame. His life had gotten busy, often not leaving enough time for his passion.

Now, even though life continued to be busy as it always had, he had decided to rekindle his passion again. One movie everyday, till Avengers: Encore released in theaters. That'd give him plenty of time to watch all the movies, from Captain America: The first Avenger to Spider Man: The Brand New Day.

He even found a forum with all the movies listed in order to be watched and even made a checklist to his calendar.

He had just completed watching the Civil Wars movie.

And as a Tony fanboy, he'd rushed to forum discussion about who was right and who was wrong.

While Erik did indeed lean toward the idea that Cap was in the wrong, he couldn't really fault the man. The movie did such an excellent job at portraying the character motivations of both sides, making him unsure about picking a side.

Still, he thought it would've been better if it was a separate movie instead of a Captain America one. The Story had enough elements to make it work. At least an Avengers 2.5?

"Eric! Take your laundry upstairs!" a voice called out to him from downstairs.

Just when he was about to contribute to the forum by making a comment about Moms and Loyalty.

He stood up, walking as he put on his T.

"Ashley, you're not my mom! Stop acting like you are!" He yelled as he hopped down the stairs, cracking his sore neck.

Erik's pc in his room flicked as he walked out, the forums page changing naturally as if someone was operating it. He did not notice.

"Says the adult who let his laundry rot in the dryer!" Came the snarky reply from the kitchen.

"Wha–?" Erik was exasperated, "It's only been an hour!"

"And?"

"..." Erik let out a breath as he shook his head. It wasn't worth it.

"Ashley, how many times have I asked you not to work out in the kitchen? It's not safe." Erik commented as he walked past her ridiculous handstand, holding back the urge to kick at her hands. It really wasn't worth it.

"What am I supposed to do while my dinner is cooking? Doomscroll like the rest of you?"

"...Not work-out in the kitchen?"

A thud came as Ashley landed on the floor from her handstand.

"You know Erik? You can be such a controlling misogynic piece of shit sometimes!"

Erik didn't even pause as he closed the dryer, scoffing at her, "Literally what do you mean?! I was making a healthy suggestion!"

Ashley could be such a drama bitch sometimes.

"That is not how you make suggestions, young man!"

He scoffed once again, standing up as his left hand wrapped around the laundry.

"You know what? Never mind! But don't you dare call me for help when you mess up someday and pour the pot full of soup on your face. I will not be coming down to drive you to the hospital!"

Erik walked away.

"Do you want coffee?"

Ashley called out from behind him.

"…" he paused at the kitchen door, "Is it decaf?"

"Who drinks decaf nowadays?" It was Ashley's turn to scoff.

The distinct sound of boiling coffee pouring onto the mug and the tantalizing aroma of it drifted through the air, tickling his brain.

"It's 9 in the evenin– Never mind, let me have some," He really wasn't someone to say no to a coffee.

"Have you watched Captain America: Civil war?" He asked while he waited.

Ashley looked at him as she took out a mug from the cupboard, "Yeah, like a decade ago."

"A decade- How old are you?!" Erik gasped.

"That's rude," Ashley didn't even seem bothered.

"Calling me misogynistic for no reason isn't?"

"..." Ashley pursed her lips as she rinsed the mug.

"Who do you think was right in the movie?" Erik asked again.

Ashley turned the mug handle to his side and placed it on the counter, pouring the coffee.

"It was that–" She tried, "I don't even remember what the movie was about man, don't test me."

"...Right." Erik chuckled, "Forgive me for asking then."

Erik took the coffee mug with him as he turned around, the pile of clothes still tucked under his arm.

"You sure you can take it all upstairs without spilling?" Ashley asked him from behind.

"Yeah I'm sure."

"Really?" The word was a bit drawn out as she spoke.

"Absolutely, my hands are steady."

"Your sock fell off."

"..."

"..Y-your sock." Ashley spoke between a chuckle.

"I heard you."

…

The pile of clothes now lay scattered on the floor, and the new coffee stain on the carpet looked like scrub daddy's face.

Erik sat down in front of his pc after wiping the coffee off the mug's surface and bottom.

He would get to cleaning the rug and folding the laundry in a minute, but first, he had to check what was displayed on his monitor.

{Would you like to become One punch man?}

Asked the bold text now displayed in the centre of his monitor, with manga depictions of Murata's one punch man in various poses plastered around in the page.

The page offered him two options to choose from, yes or no, and the interface covered his entire monitor as even the taskbar couldn't be seen.

He tried moving his mouse, yet the cursor didn't appear.

Erik brought his hands to the edge of his keyboard, pressing the esc key. It didn't work. The window remained the same.

He tried spamming it, yet, the window remained the same.

"Ashley?" he called out, his right hand reaching out to take a sip of his coffee.

"Hmmm?"

"Did you mess with my pc while I was gone?"

"Depends. Which timeframe are we talking about here?"

"...Just now?"

"What the hell do you mean? I was with you downstairs just now, wasn't I?"

"That's what I've been thinking."

Erik tried moving the mouse once more. The cursor was nowhere to be seen, but the Yes option remained highlighted.

He tried the arrow key, and this time, it worked. The highlight shifted from Yes to No.

He pressed it again, and the highlight moved back to Yes.

"Hmmm," He hummed to himself as he clicked enter.

The interface changed.

Now, the window showed the avengers end game poster with saitama replacing tony, and wearing his infinity gauntlet.

The poster was, to his disbelief, quite well made, with the artwork and the characters blending in quite well.

The bold text in the center of the window now asked;

{Would you like to become one punch man in the Marvel universe?}

"Fuck no," Erik's answer was immediate, "The hell is saitama going to do about Thanos' snap?"

"What?" Ashley called out from downstairs.

"Nothing, just talking to myself."

"...Right?"

Erik was quite optimistic of Saitama's chances in any other universe, but in marvel where most of the bosses possessed reality bending powers, he wasn't as confident.

He used the arrow key once again, and clicked enter on no.

"Huh."

It was weird. The page went black, and a second later, it showed a buffering icon, not even the animated one.

Erik used this time to take out his phone to search for viruses of this kind. He didn't find a satisfying match, even after he added reddit at the end of the search.

Erik tried changing the keyword, but before he could check the results, the Window changed again.

It now showed the potential man himself commanding his summons to fight against Thanos. Even Mahoraga was there, sprinting or flying toward Thanos.

But the details of the image were a bit messy. Mahoraga's toes were merged together. His wheel thingy only had 6 handles, Megumi's visage was morphed into one of those generic ai made anime style boy, and the background looked too artificial. Thanos didn't even have much facial features.

It was leagues behind the earlier Artwork of Saitama in Avengers poster.

The image was, quite obviously, Ai generated. One of the earlier versions of Generative Ai models.

The bold text in the centre now read;

{Would you like to become Megumi Fushigiro in Marvel?}

Again 'yes' was highlighted.

But Erik once again decisively clicked enter on no.

Sure, having Ten Shadows Technique in Marvel would be far more versatile.

And with Mahoraga, he could adapt to anything, becoming a God-like figure. Everyone familiar with jjk knew the 'potential' of the Ten Shadows technique.

But how was he supposed to conquer Mahoraga? Even Sakuna had to pull technique out of his underwear to defeat the thing.

How was he supposed to ever grow powerful enough to conquer Mahoraga? Sure, one could argue that there were numerous opportunities for one to become strong in Marvel. But who could guarantee one could survive till then? Being a glorified suicide bomber wasn't all that nice.

Erik decisively clicked enter on No. The window once again started buffering.

Erik looked back at his phone where it showed the results to his search.

The ai summary talked about some Screen-Locking Ransomware, but before he could get into more details, the buffering on the window ended, replaced with a window of Saitama punching at Thanos with Mahoraga's wheel, now with all eight handles, floating on top of his head.

Thanos was making a surprised pikachu face, while Saitama's cape curled in such an unnatural way.

It too was, quite obviously, AI generated.

The text in the centre of the window now read;

{What about One Punch Man with Ten Shadows Technique in Marvel?}

'Yes' was still highlighted, almost as if begging him to select the option.

Erik thought about the proposition hard.

If one had One Punch Man's power on top of the versatility of Ten Shadows Technique, all of the worries would be solved.

In the manga or anime, Saitama did random calisthenics workouts for an unknown amount of time and fought monsters for an unknown amount of time, before he became as strong as he was depicted. And he continued to grow stronger with his adversary in the manga even.

Basically, his power was the threshold of his limiter being way below average, to the point where even simple workouts allowed him to get stronger without a limit.

It was quite simple actually, if one could train in calisthenics like Saitama, with the protection of Ten Shadows Techniques summons, one should have saitama's power in no time.

Which meant, he should be able to one punch even Mahoraga.

That meant… all one had to do was lie low and build up power for a while and bam. They'd have conquered Mahoraga. Basically becoming God in easy mode.

Man!! That character would be the wet dream of any overpowered protag. That would be a really interesting synopsis for a fanfiction.

He took another sip of his coffee as he reached a conclusion, and pressed enter.

Without a seconds delay, Erik disappeared from where he sat.

The Mug splashed the coffee on the cheap ergonomic chair as it fell, the ceramic mug shattering as it hit the floor.

The shorts and t-shirt Erik was wearing now rested on the chair, soaked through by the coffee.

"What was that?" came the annoyed voice of Ashely from downstairs.

Just don't, brother.
Why you need Ten shadows when you already got Saitama's power?
Like what possess you to think 'I think the protagonist needs some extra puffs even with an ungodly physical capabilities.'
Saitama with Raga's adaptation? also they get stronger with the user but I don't know if he's going that route or if him getting stronger physically will make a difference in the shikigami idk

Gang I am going to honest do one or the other. There is zero synergie between the two not just on a power level but genre wise.

If you want your character to have more physical stats maybe upscale curse energy reinforcement by a bit.

Outside very specific situations, Mahoraga is just not needed.

Saitama would have the wheel on himself and bear the burden but by the time the wheel finishes analysing and Maho can come out, Saitama would have just beat them.

Basically, his power was the threshold of his limiter being way below average, to the point where even simple workouts allowed him to get stronger without a limit.
If the above was true, Saitama would have been a disabled person if his limiter was that low. People in OPM dont just start at their maximum strength point before limiter restricts them.

Most dont even reach their limit and very few reach it and an even smaller number manage to break through it.

Would recommend that you just give him that ability.

I disagree you need the adaptation to defend against all the hax in marvel. Brute force is simply not enough when your enemies can mess with your soul, mind, trap you in a space loop, destroy your universe, touch you with a tech stick and delete you out of your timestream etc etc.

Also Saitama has no limiter not simply a lower limiter.
