Was she looking good to her? Naw. But this rage wasn't present when they last met. And her master allied with Allison, so...even if you blame her for 3-in-1 crashing an island into Mammon's Vault, I'd figure you'd still blame Mammon and Jagganoth more. And even if this is for Allison eating Gog-Agog's worm...That still seems a little much over the actual Gog?

And, what is this? Jagganoth can make promises outside of his supposedly inescapable black orb of Ki Rata?

No, I think not. I think somebody has been playing with the mind of 2 Thick Thighs End Lives, Also.

(Albeit the promise is technically true, from a certain point of view. Unless, like, Gog-Agog remembers that and just eats her when the person who could grow up to be repeat to her is born.)


Zaid's scene was great, though. But I also wonder, Incubus. We never learned why he's like this when he's like that at start of comic....But I also wonder, why not just shoot her instead? Or how about her?

Maya & Allison, Allison & Maya, two beings that are perhaps only threats to him on the battlefield.

...Although it'd be kind of funny if everyone just killed each other before Jagganoth arrived. What would he then do, just walk manually from 1 to 777777 worlds, using his ultimate moves on each one one by one, maybe 100 a day, and call it done after 21 years*? At what point does the Wheel reset, anyway?

(Even if his "all space is sword" move left enough survivors to make a new nation.)

*...And, huh, now look at that, the banker's 100 years was wildly optimistic timetable, considering that would mean Yagganoth would need to take over a hour to destroy each world - and this is presuming he doesn't know any better ways for this particular thing, when his armies have been manufacturing for ages with knowledge gained through cyclical eons.



Art-wise, amazing update. Appreciate it tons more than fifth page of nameless ships getting destroyed; now this has gravitas. If I were to make any notes, it'd be more visceral internal organs for Zaid & maybe add some falling rubble or some other detail to show what the holy moneycounter is pushing off since lot of her movements look like they require an anchor to touch with hand or foot. Oh, and Incubus hasn't been just sitting past 3 years, but been lifting, the rascal! (But it looks like he regularly skipped leg day.)

The horns + horned halo is a great fashion choice, even if I wonder why does he have horns anyway. It's wonderfully thematic with the rest of the army, is he doing this just for looks?

...I swear if it turns out that Incubus is doing this to seduce Allison.
 
I think his bow could be fancier though. It doesn't need the pulley setup of modern bows, nah, but it seems like it deserves a few runes or "dark magic" vibes.

To be honest, the simplicity of the bow makes it more dreadful and awe inspiring in a sense because it doesn't need the vibes to do its job well.

Glance at the prime angel! Wonder at his beyond-largest-godship size! Observe how he uses the names of god to slay the worm like queen Mottom might use a perfectly regular revolver.

Eh, I bet 2 metatron on the worm.

Also, I do not appreciate the increasing perspective tricks. At this point, Jagganoth can go all Ant-man on his ass. It also renders the beam on the first panel immeasurably thin, visible at distance only for its luminescence.

I do wonder how Allision being Allision will help break the cycle, though. If violence is not the answer, then how might her skills at barista - and, perhaps, gathering allies - help her prevail over the cycle itself.

Kind of discordant page with both the situation and the whole theme of comic.

"Kindness must be won, fiercely!" - what does that even mean. Does 10 Vigilant Gazes even know what kindness is? The angel has been about what is right, cool fights, etc. But kindness? Only in words.

Like, I know what will happen - the crippled angel who needed help walking less than minute ago will do some sacrificial move to enact violence on others. The significance of the moment will impress the words upon Princess Mamoru Moonshine Jack Jackk Daniels etc, once and future Ebon devil.

It's still a non-sequitur.

How many moments have been there that feature kindness without violence or expectation of reward, over the decade+ time this comic has been running? White chain, perhaps, with the initial protective treatment of Allision. Ciocielle, when living domestically with her lover. Nyave?

There's also Jadis taking care of injured Allision, but Jadis is hard to peg.

How many years ago was it that we last saw kindness in comic?

And what if you isekaied 11 Vigilant Gazes into MLP? Or into Pokemon, as a nurse Joy assistant?

I think that there's a possible future where White Chain gets to help newborn 11 Vigilant Gaze as his first friend. I hope they get to bond for a while, before 11 Vigilant Gaze goes on such a trip.
