SPEAKING OF THAT....A fleeting memory covering how biotics were first discovered and created on Earth. Accidents that, considering the matter more closely, likely weren't accidents at all. Those would happen here. Could I stop them? Should I? Could I adapt my body to accept eezo?
Useful to have a friend like Lars, no?
Anyway, we've had cloning for 40+ years, human clones for almost as long though, hoo, the ethical issues, and this story has noted Mass Effect's advanced genetic engineering as a public service. Best way to go about it, would be to have someone use mass tissue cloning and expose each to small amounts of eezo dust. You should find out pretty quickly which cultures are the 5/8 who suffer horrible cancer, 2/8 who have no reaction, and, if the cloned cultires have nerves, which are the 1/8 who have a biotic reaction.
When you know those 3(1?)/8, you can start more focused testing for clone cultures which have the best biotic reactions, and start looking for volunteers.
