That's an entirely separate issue, and there's really no solution to that other than the mods showing good judgement when receiving reports like that.

The problem with this argument is that it rather conveniently ignores the crucial fact that the high rate of trans suicides isn't something inherent to being transgender. Rather it is the direct result of people like you refusing to show them even the most basic elements of human decency. Deliberate misuse of pronouns is simply the tip of the iceberg. Between the constant abuse, harrasment, death threats, actually being murdered for being trans, and the host of other hate crimes the trans community faces on a regular basis, that's what causes the high suicide rate. Frankly, I doubt that there's any religious or cultural group on this earth that wouldn't likewise experiance a similar surge in suicide rates if they had to deal with the same shit. To claim otherwise is borderline dishonesty at best.

I'm aware that you're threadbanned, and unable to respond, but what you just said is such a load of bullshit that it simply needs to be called out.

To be frank, I don't give a shit if he can respond or not, nor do I care if it is "fair" or not. The point is to post it here so everyone else in this thread can see that the steaming pile of bullshit he tries to espouse isn't uncontested.

No study has ever proven that, mostly due to those people are dead and cannot be surveyed.

It's absolutely possible to do studies of suicide rates for trans people who have been allowed to transition vs. those who haven't, and based on level of acceptance. And the conclusion they reach is that the suicide rate goes way down if trans people are accepted rather than being ostracised or having their status denied.

It would also be "unfair" to deny him the right to reply here just because the other guy got banned after posting. Why should someone get the last word just because the word in question was banworthy?
 
After a thorough review, it seems that most of the meltdown that happened here was about something that was utterly irrelevant to the actual rule change. All we had intended to do was codify an internal policy change; that the mere discussion of a non-standard gender or sexual identity existing could not be struck down by those that disliked it under Rule 8.

Therefore, I'm going to make this as simple and straightforward as possible. None of this is new, and none of it should come as a surprise. It has been this way for a long, long time.

QQ moderation are not the thought-police. You can think whatever you want. You can believe whatever you want.

But on our website, you cannot express yourself however you want.

We are incredibly, shockingly, ridiculously lenient on things that fall within the purview of QQ's purpose; namely, to be a place to write, read, discuss and enjoy porn. However, there are things that we will just not tolerate. Any violation of Rule One, in particular. That means no kinkshaming. It means you don't insult other users. And yes, we treat suggesting that someone's identity is actually a form of mental illness as insulting them.

There it is. Straightforward. Black and white.

If you cannot deal with this I have a very simple solution for you. Keep your opinions to yourself. There are plenty of other forums out there where you can discuss this! QQ is not going to be one. We want to be a safe and inclusive space for everyone to enjoy their smut.

That means we don't ding you for writing weird shit in your stories. That means we don't get all up in arms about depictions of things that would otherwise be terrible, awful atrocities because, frankly, at least one person on the site probably gets off on it. It's, for the most part, fine as long as you are able to restrain yourself to fictional works.

When you leave the realm of fiction, pornographic or otherwise, and start to espouse your beliefs regarding reality we'll look askance at you. And if those beliefs are insulting, denigrating, dehumanising or otherwise just plain hateful to people who are members of our forum we will ask you to stop.

If you are incapable of doing so, then we will show you the door.

Further moderator action regarding bad behaviour in this thread will be forthcoming.
