[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

Some ideas:

-What if Ruby found out about Jaune's fake transcripts instead of Pyrrha?

-Cardin's father was saved from a White Fang assassin by Velvet's father, and now Cardin's dad wants his son to get along with the daughter of his new best friend. Shenanigans ensue.

-Yang keeps dragging Jaune off with her to find out things about her mom because he's the responsible one. But even with all the chaos and bar fights, he is having a good time. And so is she.

-Arslan and Jaune begin training together, as Arslan is a huge fan of Jaune's dad. They get very close... Much to Pyrrha's chagrin.

-Whitley again ends up in an embarrassing situation with Ruby. But what kind? Come up with some!

-Give me more ideas for The Arc Clan.

-Give me more ideas for Jaune SI BS.

-Continue any previous idea and/or series!

-What if Ruby found out about Jaune's fake transcripts instead of Pyrrha?

Jaunes transcripts are so obviously fake it isn't even funny.

Full of claims of things like suplexing a ursa out of a bullhead in a hurricane.

Ruby decides there's only one thing to do. To both help and punish Jaune she'll help torture train him until he has accomplished everything on his transcripts!

-Give me more ideas for The Arc Clan.
Here's an idea. Burnice White-Arc decides to visit with her gang to see both her younger half-siblings Weiss and Jaune. Of course, she ends up dragging Belle into it all and well...

The Son's of Camdon going nuts with Burnice providing booze, trying to get to know Weiss, try to help Jaune out, and unknowingly make Belle fall for her younger brother. Only to decide that she would be a wonderful sister-in-law and bride to her half-brother.

Those sound like Nora's transcripts, to be honest......

I'm always down for more LionKnight!

Three Short Bits for Jaune/Arslan New
Some ideas for Arslan/Jaune bits you might consider writing. I mean, if you like my take on her.

Arslan: "Honestly Jaune, your father is a paladin! Surely you can get this prayer right."

Jaune: "Ugh... I always forget the trespasses against me thing. I just go with 'sins against me'."

Arslan: "But in the ancient Ozymandian tongue, it better translates to 'trespass' than 'sin'."

Jaune: "I think God will know what I'm meaning, even if I don't use the right words."

Arslan: chuckles "I suppose He will at that. That said, one should strive to be as precise as possible in your language. After all, if I told you I love you in Vytalian, that can carry all sorts of connotations. I might be saying it as a friend, a comrade..." She leans in close to him "A lover~..."

Jaune: "Ah... Um... B-But I know from context it's friendly love... R-Right?"

Arslan: smiles "For now."

Jaune: "Huh?"

Arslan: "Oh, nothing~."

- - -

Pyrrha bursts into a room.

Pyrrha: "ARSLAN!"

Arslan is calmly washing Jaune's feet in a basin.

Arslan: "Hello Pyrrha. You seem very excited about something. Are you all right?"

Pyrrha: "I uh... Um... I heard you and Jaune were... Washing eachother's feet."

Jaune: "It's a ritual in Arslan's sect of the Stonebreakers! Means we have the greatest of trust in one another!"

Pyrrha: "Oh... Um... I-I see, uh... W-Well, um..."

Arslan: "I see. I believe Pyrrha is thinking of Hellenic slang."

Jaune: "Really?"

Arslan: "Yes. I believe in the Hellenic tongue, washing someone's feet carries... Carnal connotations."

Pyrrha: bright red

Jaune: "Oh! Ohhhh... Geez. Is that why Weiss gave us a weird look when I said it? She said she knows Hellenic."

Arslan: "Possibly."

Jaune: "Well, Pyrrha... Would you like me to wash your feet for you? To show how much I trust and cherish you, too?"

Pyrrha: even brighter red "... I... Y-yes..."

Arslan: smug

- - -

Pyrrha happens upon Jaune, who is massaging a very out of it Yang's shoulders.

Pyrrha: "Ah? Jaune? What happened?"

Jaune: "Oh! Hey Pyr! Well, Arslan's been teaching me some Aura-based massage techniques. Yang had a rough workout and I wanted to help her... So I tested them out. How are you, Yang? Does anything hurt?"

Yang is bright red, and very quiet.

Yang: "... G-Great, Jaune... I-I mean VB."

Jaune: "No pain?"

Yang: "No... Not at all..."

She's licking her lips as she stares at Jaune, which infuriates Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: "Oh? She taught them to you?"

Jaune: "Yeah! She had me train on her too. She says I'm getting really, really good!"

Pyrrha: "I see... How about you get to the rooftop for our training, Jaune? I believe you're running a little late. Sorry."

Jaune: "Oh! Sorry Pyr. I'll see you up there!" beams and heads off

Pyrrha: glares at Yang "... Yang? YANG!"

Yang: "H-Huh? I uh... Um..."

Pyrrha: "What happened?!"

Yang: "... Wow... Um... Cereal Girl? You had better make your move... Because if you don't? I'm making mine."

Pyrrha: "... He's that good?!"

Yang: "Hell, I think the only reason Dandelion hasn't jumped him is because of her vows. But she's definitely gunning for him."

Pyrrha: very frustrated "Nnngh...!"

This might sound weord but what is the "Gay Son vs Thot Daughter" debate in the FNDM?

Like the debate is only so because you are illogical and closed minded?

This might sound biased to people but I think Gay son is obviously the better choice.

So what are some instances of this?

Just as a reminder, among the many sins of the first light novel alone are explicitly making Team CFVY responsible for Ruby arriving too late to help Pyrrha against Cinder because of petty bickering and having Coco learn the same lesson three times over the course of the light novel and expecting us to believe that, this time, it will actually stick.

And that lesson? That being a leader means more than just barking out orders and that she should be open to input from her teammates, and to stop being ridiculously overprotective of Velvet.

Yeah. Once again, let me remind you that even CRWBY, EVEN CRWBY, thought this writing was terrible. EVEN. CRWBY.

It feels like Coco was made team leader simply for the fact that all her teammates are too passive.

A while ago people were talking about how Huntsmen and Grimm would be rated for missions. The best option in my point of view was something like Jujutsu Kaisen, same ranking system for both Grimm and Huntsmen, where a huntsman of a given rank is expected to beat a Grimm of a given rank in a one on one. With the exception of the highest rank, where it breaks down.
Here is a more in-depth look at how I think they would handle the ranking.

Civilian:
The lowest level, this is the level of an untrained human without aura. Grimm of this level are things like singular baby death stalkers, a single Apathy, and possession Grimm without something to possess. These are rather uncommon and often possess abilities to make up for their weakness. Not dangerous when prepared, they still commonly kill the unwary.
Beowulf:
This is the level of a trained soldier, Militaman, or untrained aura wielder. Grimm of this level are the most common forms of Grimm in any given region. Lacking any special abilities and typically too young to have any real intelligence, they rely on numbers to overwhelm villages. Beowolves are the premiere example of this in Vale, while Creeps, Sabyrs, Ravagers, and Razorwings take this spot elsewhere.
Alpha:
This is the level of a highly trained aura less soldier or a student of a huntsman academy. The first level that you'll see on an actual mission list, the others being mostly academic. This is the tier for Alpha Grimm and their accompanying packs, a dangerous to the untrained or those without aura, it also includes Grimm such as Ursa Major and it is the lowest level a Grimm with some extra ability, such as shooting fire, can be ranked.
Elder:
This is the level of a graduate Huntsman. It represents Grimm of advanced age such as Elders or Goliaths. Often have special abilities or are otherwise extremely durable.
Legendary:
This is the level of expert Huntsmen. The majority of Atlas Ace Ops and Qrow are at this level. For Grimm it's creatures such as the Nuckelavee or Sea Feilong. The Hound is such a Grimm due to its intelligence. They almost always possess special abilities and don't resemble any living creatures. A single such Grimm could easily destroy a major village in a day.
Leviathan:
This is the highest level and one beyond normal humans. Typically only reached by those with some form of magic. Grimm of this category can single handily threaten entire kingdoms. To reach this level a Grimm must meet one requirement of two requirements. It must be able to spawn additional Grimm of the Beowolf level or it must be larger than 100 feet. Examples include Monstra, the whale that destroyed Atlas, the Wyvern which attacked Beacon.

In general a 4 man team of Hunters is expected to be able to fight at one rank above their average ranking. And a swarm of Grimm often reaches rankings above their average. A dozen Beowolves lead by 2 Alphas might be rated as an Elder class threat.

The names picked were because the only actual classification we see is that Leviathan is the name of a class. Thus I assume that classes are named after the most common Grimm in them, with the exception of Civilian since it's primarily made of human civilians, and Legendary because it's made up of unique Grimm.

Crack idea: the Grimm Pools are sentient and sapient, and have the personality of Seihai-kun.

Ruby: *sobbing* "Grimm-kun! Grimm-kun! Weiss, Blake and Yang never listen to me!"
Grimm-kun: "Jeez, you're so silly Ruby."
*LEADERSHIP AFFIRMATION DEVICE!*
Ruby: "...Eh?"
Grimm-kun: "Stab them in the face with that so they know who's boss."

The Power of God New
Here's a ridiculous idea.

Jaune Arc's Semblance... Is a bit unique. In that it isn't even a Semblance, persay. Or if it is, it's one of the most powerful and horrifying ones around.

His mother's experimentation to save him had her going to Nana Arturia, who got an old friend to help out. An old friend who helped out with some ancient knowledge and artifacts.

It seemed that there were no side effects and he grew up happy and healthy. But he had issues. For instance, he had friends who seemed to be forgotten the next day. And he claimed there were things here and there... That weren't there when others saw it. Or, he was confused when people talked about people he had no idea about, even though he'd known them for years.

It wasn't until he was older he started to piece together some of what had happened. And he kept it secret because he was afraid. When he gets to Beacon... He's learned how to use his power in small ways. Because the risks of using it in big ways are too terrible. And even then, he's terrified about using it on big things... Because the last time he did?

He now got another sister... Where before she had never existed.

He can make things and people appear and disappear. Erase them or summon them into existence. The problem is, he doesn't do it just for them now. He does it for them in the past and the future.

He once erased a Grimm attacking Radian, his hometown, from reality. That required a massive amount of power and put him in a coma, but the town was saved.

But that changed the timeline. That Grimm never existed. So all the attacks it had made in the past never happened. One of those attacks, his father stopped and fought and got serious injured in. Because of this, he had to recover for months in the hospital.

Instead in this timeline? He never fought it, so he got home to Isabel and they had sex and had another child as they had hoped to. So now Jaune has an EIGHTH sister. But he doesn't remember her because he is isolated from the changes in the timeline.

Small things like injuries or broken items that had that happen to them minutes or hours ago? He can fix, and only the person he "healed" is aware of the change. Everyone else doesn't remember it. But the longer ago something happened or the more influence someone has had on the timeline, the bigger the changes will be if Jaune messes with them.

But you can see why Jaune is terrified of using this Semblance. He knows that reality CAN be changed, but he doesn't know all the ways it CAN be.

And once others find out... He is the most wanted man on Remnant.

But he cannot let his power be used. Especially not by Salem. Salem will demand he undo her immortality. And if that happens? The entire timeline will be erased, along with everyone he ever knew and loved.

(Yes it's rather like Tusk from JoJo, but it's not the only inspiration).

This only furthers my belief that Coco is a brat, and needs correction.

It's also like balefire from the Wheel of Time series, it was so dangerous that in the distant past, Shaitan (WoT's version of Satan basically) forged a treaty with his enemies forbidding it's use.

This seems like one of those snips where Jaune ends up deciding to erase himself for the good of everyone else.
But if he does, what about all the changes in the timeline he made?

All of those changes, the grimm, his dad's injuries, those minor other repairs and heals?

If he removes himself, all those piled up butterflies will make a Hurricane as big as the Red Eye of Jupiter in the timeline.

Jaune Arc is considered by many to be a hero. Left his home at 16 and started killing Grimm.

He refuses pay (outside of traveling supplies and food) and has saved thousands.

And strangely has a deep seated view of disgusts towards huntsmen.

Naturally this gets him hounded by both OZ and Salem, believing that he's either working for the other or can be recruited (he is kinda sending mixed signals).

Turns out he is 100% against the Grimm Queen. His issues with the Huntsmen are something else.

"People call hunters Heroes, I used to too, but they aren't. A hero pushes back against the darkness. Fights to eradicate evil. They don't stick a line in the sand and say good enough then pat themselves on the back."

Idea on who could remember?
Obviously the Brothers and Blacksmith but who else?
If Ruby Eyes let her 'see' what was as flashes or deja vu?
If someone dies do they have dreams or unexplained pains?
As long as this doesn't go full Muv-Luv then i don't see him erase himself

What's better than 1 heater? 2 heaters of course! the teams force Jaune and Yang to sit together so they can get double the heat.

1/ An idea I got from listening to 1 hour of Dagothwave on repeat, After Dagoth dies he uses one final spell to escape death, his soul ended up in remnant and it attached itself to Jaune, fortunately for Jaune the spell Dagoth used was not complete so the body snatching failed but unfortunately for Jaune Dagoth is now anchored to him, now Jaune has to put up with a running commentary from meme Dagoth who keeps calling him Nerevar.

Crack idea: Jaune somehow finds himself in Morrowind during the events of the titular game, only instead of the expected Imperial Legion sympathizing, he somehow ends up joining House Telvanni and finds himself internalizing the culture - that is to say, the culture of xenophobic mad scientist wizard lords.

Then he finds his way back to Remnant. Hilarity ensues.

Jaune: "Ruby, your farm tool is defective."
Ruby: "Eh?"
Jaune: "She's been sitting in the corner, giggling and reading smut - no doubt some trashy handbag porn instead of a respectable daedric pillowbook. Shouldn't she be off harvesting kwama eggs or something just as menial?"
Ruby: "EH?!"

Glynda: "Mr. Arc, what are you - is that Raven Branwen?!"
Yang: "WHAT?! WHERE?!"
Jaune: "In the tradition of House Telvanni, we argued over who had the right to her sword. In the tradition of House Telvanni, I set her on fire. Therefore I have the right to her sword aaaaand it's not even ebony. Bah, Mistrali s'wit."

Jaune: "Bah, typical Nord - given the tools to warp reality itself and what does she do? Try to hit things with a needle."
Weiss: "WHAT?!"
Jaune: "Mark my words, next she'll think being able to stab things is a replacement for sound economic policy."

A funny and slightly smutty idea: Nora comes back in time. Nora considers herself the sanest and most rational person around, and she realizes that RWBY, Pyrrha, and Jaune all acted stupid because they weren't getting laid!

Nora: "They need a good man in their lives, like Renny! And since I'm not sharing Renny, Jaune's gotta step up and bang them all! That way they'll all stop being stupid and we can save the world!"

wrong thread, mate

if that case i have a prompt for you; what if Jacques Schnee was a good guy? he's still an asshole and all around unpleasant person, but he's an asshole on the good guys' side.
you know, kind of like that trope "glad he on our side", something like that.

That would be interesting. Hell, how about a Self Insert as Jacques Schnee? That would be very interesting.

The things on my mind as a self Insert as Jacques Schnee are so impure they'd make Blake go red.

Suffice to say the Arcs will have competition in number of kids.

I'd rather doscuss it on the Hot Pieces thread because Willow Schnee got me acting unwise.

It must be a novel experience for Weiss to be haughtied at with far more arrogance in one moment than she ever demonstrated in her whole life.

This said, does Jaune get to bring his estate, property and servants along? I imagine he'd be very displeased at having to leave his mushroom wizard tower, productive salt-rice plantation and egg mines behind.

Somehow, Blake will set back Faunus PR by ending up as Jaune's "unwilling" house faunus.

You know, I think in Skyrim with the house dlc, one of the houses comes with the option to build a fish farm/pond.....

Noble Lion: Arslan's Sins New
Arslan Atlan was from Mistral, and she was used to heat. The Valean summer was proving to be rather difficult though. The increased humidity from the sea didn't help at all. So she had opted for something a bit lighter to wear on the weekend than her school uniform: A flowing robe and some yoga pants. It was not sacrilegious to dress comfortably, after all.

She walked out into the bright sunshine from the dorm, carrying a water bottle, intent upon the chapel to meditate... When she caught sight of Jaune Arc.

He had also dressed down due to the heat. Very down. He had only his jeans and sneakers, revealing his toned, muscular upper body.

He was practicing with his sword and shield, basic forms, but the sweat on his body made him shine in the sunlight. The scars on his body, rare for a Hunter with Aura activated since childhood, announced that he was a survivor. His determined expression, so unlike his usual goofy smiles, made him look manly and mature.

BONK.

She blinked. How had she ended up on her back? Why was Jaune over her, looking worried.

"Arslan? Sister Arslan? Are you okay?"

"Ah... I am fine, Jaune Arc, thank you," Arslan managed, her eyes locked onto his chest. Strange, why was she licking her lips? "What happened?"

"You uh..." Jaune coughed, "You walked into a tree."

Arslan blushed.

"Oh... I see," she murmured. She glanced over past Jaune. She could see a few other young Huntresses all staring or pretending to not stare their way. Especially one Pyrrha Nikos, whose red cheeks gave away her interest. Along with Yang Xiao-Long, Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna-Even Weiss Schnee, surrounded by ice Dust fans, was a bit too haughty with how she looked away.

"You need any help?" Jaune asked. Arslan sat up and shook her head.

"No, I am fine. Why are you training outdoors in this manner?"

"Ah, Pyrrha said it was good for me," Jaune said with a shrug. "It's... A little embarrassing but she said it would help me improve."

So. Her rival was engaging in subterfuge just to ogle the man she sought for romance. Abusing his trust and making him into a show for her and her perverted, godless friends. Arslan would never expect such conduct from her esteemed rival! To be so conniving! So dishonest! So lewd!

"On second thought," Arslan said, "I believe I am suffering a slight head injury. Would you kindly take me to the infirmary?"

Jaune smiled guilelessly.

"Sure! Uh, you don't mind me carrying you bridal style? People might talk."

"Oh no, that will be fine," Arslan said, directing the tiniest of smirks towards her irate rival and her friends as Jaune picked her up and carried her off. She leaned into Jaune's broad bare chest and sighed happily.

Turns out Arslan was no better than her rival... But at the very least, she would pray and do penance for her sins later.

"You must be so hot," Arslan said, "Would you like this water?"

"Sure!" Jaune said with a grin. Arslan held up her water bottle for him to drink... And 'accidentally' spilled some on his chest.

"Oh. How clumsy of me," Arslan said, admiring the effect.

"Oh, it's okay!" Jaune said, still innocent and grinning.

Okay, so she would do a lot of prayer and penance.

Later.
