Glad you liked it.Always love The Outsider when he appears. Marking Jaune is an intriging choice, has a lot of potential. Lisa has already become my favorite part of the story. On mobile, sorry if this is just thoughts atm. Tftc, looking forward to more.
Edit: Alright, I can be more eloquent now. So, Jaune just hit Lisa's trigger-button with his impulsivity; someone she cares about seemingly 'killing themselves' as a result of her unthinking words? That's definitely a trauma of hers, but at least she knows Jaune didn't intend to do it.
Yeeeah, they're not exactly a smooth, well-oiled machine at the moment.
Thanks for reading!Triggering Tattletale PTSD, not cool Jaune, not cool.
Coulda thought of a better way to test out your new powers, but I guess if you didn't do the first boneheaded thing you thought of, it wouldn't have been a Jaune move.
Thanks for the chapter~
And yup, Jaune is very much as impulsive as Tattletale on some matters. Communications between them isn't that great this early, either. A work in progress.
Right? It really derails all your plans orz.Man, does that ever sound familiar, for all I've had the opposite problem for the last ... decade, nearly. Glut or drought, no in between.
An unintended ship!Did not expect the outsider to come out and demand Jaune take responsibility for what he's done to him.
Is the real ship Jaune x Outsider?
And yes, the bone charm has an effect. I had no good opportunity to naturally fit it in this chapter without it being a hamfisted exposition where I say instead of show what the effect is. As for crafting, I see that as a gameplay mechanic to make Dishonored 2 fun rather than fitting with the in-game lore. The characters of the game, and Jaune, rather lack the right frame of mind to create those things. Too sane.
Hey, thanks for reading! The way how everyone get angry when Tattletale became Jaune's companion was hilarious. Is she really so bad or just annoying? Because if everyone so upset because they don't like her talking and messing with people than it's not such a big difference from Neo. She is also a little gremlin who cares only about herself(plus Roman) and loves messing with others. But she doesn't talk so I guess it's enough reason to love her. Seriously can somebody make a comparison with other evil character so I could have an idea about what level of bad she is.
Tattletale did get introduced right after the absolute angel that is Sundancer, so she was already in an uphill battle as a companion, and people familiar with her can already see some of the problems she'll be causing in the future.
I ascribe to a similar interpretation as Czlyydwr Llrngwl on Tattletale's power screwing things up. It was how the author Wildbow presented it at first, before he flip-flopped on the subject multiple times, which did a great job of muddling up the wiki and any discussion on the matter.
Yes, yes there will. No spoilers, though, since it will spoil certain developments. As for shipping. Will there be any?
Is this just a random void induced vision like a void hypothesis or can the Outsider/Void see into other worlds?
I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the story, and that you think I somewhat got the Dishonored world right. Thanks!
From the portrayals of the Outsider, he can see a lot more than a normal person. All of time and space, possibilities, etc. In this case, he got a peek of another world through Jaune's memory there, and saw deeper than the physical event that Jaune witnessed.
