Son of the Dragon [Alucard Quest]

Everyone has died.

You are dragged across the ground- Bound in stocks, destined for the headman's block.

They've all died, for your sake- For the sake of that which you believe in. For the sake of your paradise, for your God, for your prayers- Everyone has gone and died.

As you're thrown down, the bloody dirt grinds into your face. You can smell it- The scent of death, of battle. It is thick and cloying, all around you- Like a demented garden, flowering with corpses.

As the headsman lifts his axe, you cannot help but to think- You are no longer a king, no longer a servant of god. No... You are no longer even human. Killing your friends, killing your enemies, killing the ones you should protect, men and women, the elderly and children- And now, even yourself. Truly, you are one who is without redemption.

But still... The blood soaked dirt lays before you, vile and yet inviting. Even now, you yearn to keep onwards.

You don't know what insanity compels you, honestly- But you find yourself leaning forwards, towards the dirt. Mouth opens, you stick out your tongue, and take a single lick-

The headsman's axe comes down with a meaty sound. The onlookers cheer and celebrate, before making their way off to their camp- Away from the gore and the carnage, from the macabre forest which that man had created.

Alone in the muck, a simple cross lays shattered into pieces.

[] Wake up.

You see a man before you, dressed head to toe in midnight black. He jestures to you, then sweeps into an almost mockingly low bow.

"Welcome, my lord!" He declares as he ushers you forwards, through grand doors you hadn't noticed. "It's off to the feast we go! Everyone is just Dying to see you~!"

Within a moment, you find yourself seated on a table at the top of a great and immense hall, where all of your soldiers are merrily drinking rich, red wine. You take a sip, and feel the bitter tang seep into your mouth. The drink is thick with iron.

"Gentlemen! I bring to you your lord, Vlad Dracula!" The men lift their cups and cheer. "And now that our guest of honor is here, it is time! BEGIN THE FEAST!"

A cry echoes out from the hall, and your eyes raise. A line of butlers are dragging in women and girls, throwing them on the tables. The men's cheering takes on a fevered pitch, as the man in black turns to you with a young child struggling to escape his grip. He slaps her, and as she clutches at her face tosses her at you. You catch her almost unconsciously as you begin to notice the hollow pangs in your guts.

"Well sire?" The man is looking at you expectantly. "We cannot eat until you take the first bite." You look back down at the girl, shaking her head and crying. Your guts feel cavernous and empty, and you can feel your mouth water in anticipation...

You burst awake. The moon is full, and you lay in the center of a field of corpses. In the distance, you hear the sounds of revelry.

You.. You're so HUNGRY...

[] What do?

 

[X]The answer of course is eat. Find whatever is so happy and get something(one) to eat.

[X]You rise, slowly as can be, standing to your full height, its almost as if the world holds its breath as you stand straighter and straighter. Soon enough you tower above the common masses, just as you had in a distant memory. Here you stand tall once more, here stands the king reborn. Here stands King Dracula.

Here stands a monster, and he is hungry. So, just as he had years ago in distant memory, you shall conquer and feast. The night is young! And it is ripe for the taking! Now you merely need take it by force!

And so, did a night of slaughter and feasting began, just as many will come to follow.
