I must say it's rekindled my Fanartist spirit that had dwindled in the absence of WitchQuest. Sadly I was a few hours too late to make it before the deadline of choosing a class.

How long have you been drawing for?

 

Since I was a baby. But that was usually just scribbles or melted snow.

Started to try at manga about 5 or so years ago but I kinda sucked.

Started getting better around 3

I don't actually think I got good until about less than a year ago but didn't do it to much. Then I started drawing the Rochelle fanarts, prior to that I really didn't have much inspiration.

 

If you continue at that rate you'll be a pro in no time!

Do you have many coloured drawings? I noticed the 2 you posted were solid colours rather than shaded.

 

Not as good with color, sadly while many handy tutorial show you how to draw manga few actually show you how to color it in. Plus I only got Paint.Net which kinda sucks for it.

25 faces of Rochell! Oh that felt so good to do, I can't even tellz ya~ I'd been sorta itching to start drawing some Witch Quest stuff again but kept getting blocked by something. I had been planning to get back and write some snippets for my quests earlier and even got half way through before getting distracted by memes for the rest of the day. And the day after. And most of yesterday. That actually lead to me finding the 25 face challenge which lead to me staying up all night to do this! Frankly I can't think of a better way to waste time. Also Windows updated while I was asleep and killed all the snippets I'd had. But just looking at this mellowed me out...

For the japanese text the first is "Gununu~" Japanese anomonopia for growling. It's also a meme! The second is Yaranaika, google it~ And the last one is Shine, which means die.

Some fanart I forgot to put up a couple days ago.

Yowane Haku/Kurimi Mami from my Sekirei quest. Just seem to love putting my characters in Shortshorts, Zettai Ryouiki and bearing their midriff. I also added hanging wires and stuff since her outfit didn't seem impractical enough for Sekirei.


Rain from Pretty Princess Institute. Her I just drew from scratch seeing as there was no actual description of her. I modeled the Mahou shoujo outfit on a maid, because "Maids Fuck Yeah", also I just realized she bares a startling resemblance to Naruko I didn't not see while drawing it.


The three Youma Options from Youma Quest. Sadly I couldn't submit it in time to subtly bend the will of others to vote like me. The first is the Infiltrator type, honestly she kind of strikes me as a bit plain and boring which is actually pretty good for them. Next was my favorite to draw, Power Type. Man I had alot of fun coming up with the design. It was a bit hard at first but I looked up some cute monster girls, the tiny one from Disgaea 4 when inspiration struck. The face still bares a resemblance but the rest was all me. Finally is the Mage type which I enjoyed drawing but nowhere near as much as the power type. Those with a keen eye will notice she looks one of my OCs. You are correct I kinda just ripped myself off on that one.

 

Inking has mixed results for me. Just go back to the last page and see some of the few things I inked. Still need to practice with that...

 

If it helps Biigoh, I was planning on cleaning some of them up later and perhaps turning them into an avatar.

 

I will reiterate my request for Kyoko riding Spider!Rochelle into battle.

 

You can get Photoshop CS2 for free. They shut down the old activation servers and so they posted keys for people who still use CS2. Technically you're only allowed to do it if you paid for it, but it's completely public and there's nothing stopping you from doing it.
