The Holy Chronicles of Baator

Chapter 631 – Blessing of the Source Energy New
After we finished eating, I took both Venelana and Grayfia to the Heart of the Universe for the Blessing of the Source Energy Ceremony. In fact, I could do it right within the premises of the Nurmengard, but the effect would be at least twice better within the Heart of the Universe.

The Heart of the Universe was the location where most of the Source Energy was congregated, where it was being created, gathered, refined, and possibly used. The density of the Source Energy within the Kadath Universe's Heart of the Universe was indeed staggering because it wasn't used for much.

One didn't even realize how much Source Energy the Universe Will was saving up, now when all of its previous responsibilities fell onto the Tier 12 entities of the Kadath Universe and the Universe Will didn't need to spend the precious Source Energy on the meaningless tasks.

"Now, we shall start the Ceremony. Both of you take these things, and the moment I start blessing you with the Source Energy, you will start fusing with the objects that I gave you."

Both of the things that I gave them were priceless objects that would even catch the attention of the Paragons. Fimbulvetr and Eye of Destruction were the most rare Wonders of Void, that could be found within the Endless Void.

There were not many things that could match them in rarity, albeit they were not the most powerful things that were created in the Endless Void; they were particularly unique, especially if they were used by people with certain affinities.

I knew that both Grayfia and Venelana would benefit immensely from those things. For Grayfia, the Fimbulvetr would elevate her Ice and Annihilation to an entirely new level; if she worked hard, she could freeze entire Universes like nothing.

The same could be said about Vena, who received the Eye of the Destruction, which was the crystallization of the most pure and potent Destruction Energy found within the Endless Void.

Sometimes, it could even be found after someone destroyed the Universe and the Destruction Energy from the whole Universe congregated and compressed itself into a single crystal that was the size of a small ball.

But such cases were very rare.

"Now focus, I am going to start the ceremony."

I said to both of them as they prepared for what was to come, as I started controlling the Source Energy, which was something that was natural and yet challenging to me even though I was a Universe Master.

The Source Energy Manipulation was like a second nature to me, but at the same time, the Source Energy was tremendously power and potent energy; it wasn't something that I could make even a single mistake.

If I did, then...

Boom.

I would probably injure myself a lot, considering its volatility.

So, I needed to carefully control and direct the Source Energy in its most primal form towards my wives, who, upon the first contact with the Source Energy, started assimialting the Fimbulvetr and Eye of Destruction, respectively, with the help of the Source Energy.

Both Wonders of Void would give them tremendous power if mastered to limits, enough to fight even the Primarchs if needed. At the same time, when the Source Energies entered their bodies, it started refining their very own Souls and their fundamental existence.

The Wonders of Void, both Fimbulvetr and Eye of the Destruction, slowly disappeared from existence as they were fused with the Souls of their new masters, becoming part of them for all eternity.

This wouldn't be naturally normally possible, but with the help of the Source Energy, it became real deal, as the Wonders of Void, were soon enough incorporated into the Arcane Crests of both Venelana and Grayfia.

This process continued for some time, as both of them were in the procedure of constructing their very own Arcane Crest and being elevated to Tier 12 from the peak of Tier 11.

Obviously, it took some time because constructing the Arcane Crest and advancing to Tier 12 was one of the most arduous and hardest breakthroughs that one could even make in his whole life.

Something that both Venelana and Grayfia were undergoing right now, but at the same time, they were having a much easier time than anyone else, as they were being supplemented by Source Energy.

While I was mildly surprised that they have decided to make the breakthrough at the spot during the fusion with their Wonders of Void, it was also understandable, because they used the opportunity when I was still supplying them with the Source Energy.

Cunning from them...

But that was expectable from the Devils... or any other species of the Baatorians.

After many millennia, the Higher Dimensional World of Baator was home to many Tier 12 entities, most of them were stemming from the Devil Species, though Fallen Angels also had two Tier 12, Blood Races had 3 Tier 12 and Dragons had 4 Tier 12.

Baator was strong, and the Kadath Universe wasn't enough for at least part of the attained Primarchy. Among the Tier 12 entities that were of the Kadath Universe right now, Hela, Azrael, Diablo and Crom Cruach had the best chances at attaining the Primarchy in the near future.

Though for that, they would need resources, many resources that the Kadath Universe simply can't provide; that was the reason why many of them were itching for the expansion and conquests of the other Universes.

I observed both of my beloved ones, as they were close to their limit in regard to the absorption of the Source Energy, which was already at the higher ends. In truth, I didn't think that this would be their limit, as they were able to absorb far more than I initially anticipated.

Now, the only thing that remained was to wait because they were already in the process of construction of the Arcane Crests, which were clearly visible in my eyes.

I knew that they managed to incorporate the Wonders of the Void into their fledgling Arcane Crests very well from the start, which was good news. Certainly, this was one of the things that I feared that they would have trouble assimilating the Wonders of Void into their Arcane Crests.

Chapter 632 – Another Exarchs New
The Wonders of Void were treasures that were born directly in the depths of the Endless Void, from the purest and most potent energies of the Endless Void. Thus, they represented the most precious that one could even think of.

So, certainly, I was fearing that both of them would have some trouble assimialting the Wonders of the Void, because such things were scarcely done, very scarcely done and from what I read and heard, only Paragons attempted to do so.

It was an exceedingly dangerous thing to do, but I also knew that it could be done by much weaker beings, if they had a tremendous affinity for the said Wonder of Void. Such is the case of my wives, as they indeed have the highest affinity for the Wonders of the Void that I gave them.

It certainly took some time, as we remained within the Heart of the Universe while Grayfia and Venelana were constructing their Arcane Crests and reaching Tier 12, or how we called it, within the Higher Dimensional World of Baator, the Exarchy.

Both were them with the help of Source Energy, managed to reach the Exarchy without much of problems, and soon enough, reached the Exarchy as they finished the construction of the Arcane Crest when they fully incorporated the two Wonders of Void into it.

Now, when they were finished the started assimialting the remaining Source Energy, to increase their power as much as possible within the short span of time and at the same time, they were also consolidating their Arcane Crests.

That was another important step that every single Exarch needed to complete and it usually took years, decades, centuries and for the less talented people, even a few millennia would be required to consolidate the Arcane Crests.

Just after breaking through to the Tier 12 Exarchs, their Arcane Crests were still not very stable and could be severely damaged if they were overused in combat or if they were directly attacked.

Something like that then required a consolidation period that varied from Exarch to Exarch, but with the direct help of Source Energy, the time span of it what would normally be in several decades was shortened directly to a few years.

This was another of the miracles of the Source Energy and the wonders it was capable of, such as entirely stabilizing the Arcane Crests of newly advanced Exarch within just a few hours; that was something unthinkable.

Even for me, it took a few years to completely stabilize my Arcane Crest and my foundation, though for me, I had my enormous talent and Soul Aptitude to support me in the matter. Yet seeing the Source Energy in action was something fascinating...

I could observe in real-time how the Source Energy was stabilizing the Arcane Crests, meaning the cracks and flaws that were within the Arcane Crests. When the entire process was finished, I could see that both of them were waking up from their trance-like state.

"I see that the procedure has been successful..."

Muttering I could see that the Fimbulvetr and Eye of Destruction were perfectly assimilated into their very own beings and into their Arcane Crest. The power of the Arcane Crests enhanced by the Wonders of Void Fimbulvetr and Eye of Destruction was frightening to say at least...

Something that I didn't think was possible and the results were much better than I anticipated. Their Arcane Crests got approximately thrice stronger than average Arcane Crests should be of average Exarch.

It was almost mind blogging, but with this, for sure, they would be able to rival those ones that had the most unique and powerful Paths and Arcane Crests. Given enough time for sure, their Arcane Crests would be strong enough to rival my own Arcane Crest and that was one of the most powerful.

Containing the End and Ruin...

Their Arcane Crests still needed some time to grow to such a degree, but I didn't really doubt that they would be in the near future. As long as they were given enough time, with their Arcane Crests their power would be enough to compete easily with even the strongest Half-Step Primarchs.

"How are you feeling?"

I asked them when I finished studying their current state.

"Powerful, filled with energy and vigor, yet a bit tired... especially mentally tired."

I nodded upon hearing that from Grayfia because the entire procedure was mentally tiring, very tiring... one would be left in a state of mental exhaustion for several days straight...

"That would fade away after some time... could you properly control your Arcane Crest?"

Hearing my question, Grayfia summoned her Arcane Crest that radiated the power of the Fimbulvetr. With the addition of the Fimbulvetr, the Annihilation and Ice completed merged into the Wonder of Void and created a new entity together with the Fimbulvetr.

"I have some trouble with the energy output... but that would come with enough training and control..."

I nodded whole I took a look at Venelana, seeing that she had some more severe problems with her power and controlling it. Mainly because the Destruction Energy was one of the hardest things to control.

If one was not careful enough, then one could be easily overcome by the Destruction Energy and killed instead; such were the dangers of the Destruction Energy. It was deadly even for the most apt practitioners of the Destruction Arts.

"The Arcane Crest is more volatile after the fusion with the Eye of Destruction... I would need some time to control the Energy..."

Hearing Venelana saying that made me nod my head because it was an understandable and even predictable outcome in fact. The Eye of Destruction was too powerful to be controlled outright without significant training.

She would need to spend a lot of time controlling the Arcane Crest, especially now that it was created with the Eye of Destruction. I already counted with something like that, hopefully she would need only a short time to learn to control her Arcane Crest.

In the state she was right now, it was impossible for Venelana to use her Arcane Crest in the fight, or else, the Destruction Energy that was now tremendously powerful from the Eye of Destruction would severely injure her or even kill her.

Chapter 633 – For the Path Forward New
"You will need to work a lot on your control abilities... your Arcane Crest is immensely power because it used the Eye of Destruction as the foundation, something that is top-notch Wonder of Void. The power of the Destruction Energy within your body is something that is dangerous and close to the existential level of the Tier 13 Primarchs."

It didn't take me a long to figure out her problems that she was facing with her Arcane Crest... that was certainly problematic, but nothing that couldn't be addressed with enough time and training.

For that, I was pretty sure.

"I know... the power is very hard to control, for every second of the Arcane Crest was activated, it kept draining my mental powers tremendously, and I have a feeling that the Destruction Energy is somehow sentient right now... or at least semi-somehow sentient..."

In an instant, my eyes sharpened hearing that because that was a pretty dangerous thing to happen, but it seemed that this was one of the unforeseen consequences of what had happened...

"I should have known that Eye of Destruction could develop a certain degree of sentience, albeit a very primitive one at that, but it still presents dangers. For now, you need to obtain at least rudimentary before exterminating the possible sentience from the Arcane Crest. Or..."

I stopped my speech, because somewhat outlandish idea came to me as I was thinking about her unique situation.

"Or what? I always have very bad premotion when you do something like this."

Indeed they knew me well, because it was indeed something too have very bad promotion about... In fact, the idea that came to my mind was absolutely suicidal to almost everyone, but the opportunities hidden within were almost as much staggering as the danger present.

"This would be another suicidal idea from our dear beloved husband."

Grayfia voiced her dissatisfaction slightly because she, too, was often the subject of several of my crazy ideas, though, at the same time, she was aware that every single one of my ideas was also extremely profitable.

"If my assumptions are true, and for sure they are, then the semi-consciousness that was within the Eye of Destruction could be assimilated by you and become something like secondary consciousness within your mind, basically acting like an adjusted supercomputer, making predictions and handling various tasks."

It would be basically like she gained a secondary brain out of nowhere, and something like this wasn't really possible. For that, with her current strength could be achieved only through an extraordinary means, like the consciousness within the Eye of Destruction.

"That's your brilliant and best idea! It's almost as stupid and suicidal as the previous one!"

I frowned, seeing that Vena wasn't really thrilled at my idea, even though I knew that she was aware of the benefits, despite not really wanting to admit the fact.

"Actually, it is a very good ritual; as long as we have something of the equivalent exchange to sacrifice for the ritual to suppress the consciousness while you assimilate it, it would be okay, and you would gain something on the level of most super-advanced Artificial Intelligence."

Hearing my reasoning made them pause, and even Grayfia, who was typically most skeptical of all my excellent ideas, was now considering it wholeheartedly. Within our family, it was Grayfia who often acted as the voice of reason and logic.

"That would work, but where do you want to find something of the equivalent exchange to the Eye of Destruction... the Wonders of Void don't grow on trees, as we all know."

I nodded my head in agreement with the statement because it was true that the Wonders of Void were not growing on the trees, but at the same time, with the addition of Witch Queen Iggwilv, we obtained the methods of traveling from Oerth.

In fact, their Magic was so exotic and advanced that it wasn't that advanced to the Baatorians in some aspects, and it was even outshining them in several others.

With that addition, we managed to develop methods of scrying through the Endless Void far more effectively than ever before.

And it paid off tremendously because, after a few errors, Mephisto Pheles, with his students, came up with methods of locating newly birthed Wonders of Void within the Endless Void.

Most interestingly, when the Wonder of Void was birthed from the Endless Void, it released a wave of specific energy on a unique frequency that would linger in the Endless Void for some time, or rather, it would spread through certain areas of the Endless Void.

Simultaneously, the energy released by the newly birthed Wonder of Void would remain in effect for a rather long time if you consider a few years a long time. This gave us enough time to compete for the Wonder of Void, and thus, we have several of them in the Imperial Vaults right now.

So, finding something that would fit the requirements of the equivalent exchange won't be hard, hopefully, to say the least. It would probably take some time, but I had no doubt it would be successful.

"Hmm...we would be going with that plan. How long would it take you to find something of the equivalent exchange for the ritual?"

In the end, Venelana decided to go with my plan, fortunately at least, because she, too, was aware of how beneficial it was for her. Even though it may seem hard and would take some time to accomplish.

"Maybe in a few years, I will order everyone to dedicate all of the free manpower to search for the Wonders of Void... it would be at least several years at best and a few decades at worst... when we find it, we could start the ritual."

For the time being, the various Magisteriums of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator would have a lot of work for the time being.

At least they would be doing something productive for the time being, as for most of the time, they were either researching Magic or new Technologies. Now, that I have reached the Primarchy, there was one thing that I could finally do and get rid of it from my mind.

Once again, seeing my home Universe.

The Immaterius Universe.

Chapter 634 – For the Immaterius Universe New
Going to the Immaterius Universe has always been a little dream of mine since I reincarnated into the Astral Boundary's Draconic Deus. It was something that I had always wanted to achieve because the Immaterius Universe was hiding some secrets that even Paragons would kill for.

It wasn't that surprising, in fact, but the Immaterius Universe, while not the oldest and certainly not the most powerful Universe around in the Endless Void, was one of the most peculiar ones around.

That was something that I found out through millennia of research on the Immaterius Universe, as I collected every bit of intelligence and information that was available on the Immaterius and its secrets.

Coupled with the things that I knew from my time at the Solar Federation, I wanted to get my hands on some things. The Aeldari Empire at its peak was so advanced that some of its technological advances were even on equal ground to the current Arcanotek of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator.

And that wasn't talking about the legendary Black Library, where all of the knowledge of their entire species was rumored to be located.

But, in fact, that wasn't even my primary aim within the entire endeavor. There were two main goals in my journey to the Immaterius Universe. The Necrons and their Star Gods, and finally, the mythical Old Ones.

The fabled creators of the Aeldari, mythical Korks, the ancestors of the Orkoids, and the ones that were basically the living Gods of the Immaterius.

Disappeared from the face of the Immaterius Universe, they did indeed, but I would find them.

I had a hunch that I would find a path to the Paragon Realm within the Immaterius Universe, and there were also countless benefits that I could bring back to the Chthonian Empire.

The Necrons had probably the most advanced technology within the entire Immaterius according to the Aeldari, some of their weapons were capable of obliterating entire Galaxies without a problem.

But for now, we have more than enough time...

***

Kadath Universe, Higher Dimensional World of Baator, 9th Layer of the Baator, Holy Imperial Capital of Anor Londo, deep underneath the Imperial Palace.

In fact, it was long since I came back to the Anor Londo, probably around two hundred years already?

The last time I visited the Holy Imperial Capital of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator was after Venelana and Grayfia underwent the Source Baptism and reached the Exarchy. Shortly afterward, I went to the Anor Londo to discuss the merger between the Xenomorph Universe as part of the Kadath Universe.

The merger of the Xenomorph Breeding Farm, as it was called, went smoothly without many complications because, as the Primarch of the Kadath Universe and Universe Master, I didn't have any problem when it came to that.

Hela was delighted that her pet project was officially proclaimed as successful and was now part of the Kadath Universe as as one of the unique realms within the pyramid-like structure, as I created several Boundaries in the Kadath Universe.

Now that I became the Universe Master, I needed even greater order within the Kadath Universe, and thus, everything was reorganized from scratch and was done anew to better reflect the needs of the Kadath Universe as a whole.

"Are you still adhering and attempting to carry out that idiotic plan?"

Deep within the Imperial Dungeons, I was in a meeting with several people who were aware of my plan with the Immaterius Universe, and certainly, at least part of them was not that thrilled about the idea.

It was beyond dangerous, for me, but also for the entire Kadath Universe as the Kadath Universe contained several Primarchs. This came out as a tremendous shock for me when I confirmed this rumor, but...

It seemed logical...

The Chaos Gods were certainly Primarchs, for sure those malicious entities hiding within the Warp, were at the peak of Tier 13, but they couldn't leave the Immaterius Universe unless the real was merged with the unreal.

So, that was one good news.

At the same time, it would be catastrophic for the Kadath Universe, if the Daemons of the Warp somehow invaded the Kadath Universe and wreaked havoc here.

"Yes... I am Hela... the benefits we could obtain from the Immaterius are immeasurable; I have a feeling that secrets to the Paragonity are hidden somewhere there."

Reaching the Paragon Ream was something that was vastly out of my reach, but at the same time, it was also very close. Weird feeling I knew, but all of my instincts were telling me that if I wanted to reach the Paragon Realm, I needed to visit my home once again.

No matter how dangerous it was and would be.

"The sole method of entering is reincarnation there; no matter what, your soul, whole being born there, is already part of the Kadath, thus becoming a foreigner."

While I frowned at this, I knew that Hela was right; there was no one better in the aspect of Soul in the entire Kadath Universe than my beloved wife, the Black Empress of Death Hela Odinsdottir.

"I know, and I already have a method that I would use to reincarnate there and to be sure everything went smoothly, Diablo will be going with me."

Diablo was one of the strongest entities within the whole Kadath Universe, and I had a method of transporting his true body into the Immaterius Universe. With his talents and strength, I would have a much easier time there.

"That is indeed truth, My Lady, I can simply hide in the shard of the Lord's soul undergoing the reincarnation process, and when the time is right, I will awaken."

This was one of the racial abilities that he created when he reached the Exarchy.

With this technique, he would enter some sort of sealed hibernation, where he would, technically speaking, become part of my soul shard and thus enter the Immaterius Universe without any hitch.

The Immaterius Universe was very powerful and its Will was very hostile toward all foreigners...

Greatly hostile at that.

Chapter 635 – To the Immpaterius New
My reincarnation method to the Immaterius Universe was almost finished, and I could implement it very soon. When it would be done, reincarnating back into the Immaterius Universe shall not be a problem.

The information gathered about the Immaterius Universe was sufficient enough for me to make the decision, but I will just stick to obtaining the Black Library of the Aeldari, collecting Necrons for their Necrodermis, and maybe seeking some other ancient secrets.

The rest of the things were not that important for me, not to mention if the power of the Chaos Gods was true, then I wasn't very keen on poking them. They were the most dangerous beings in the entire Universe and were most probably peak Primarchs.

"Any other recorded threats?"

Hela asked me because she felt that the Chaos Gods were not only dangers in the Immaterius Universe, and in fact, that was true. While even at the peak of the Human Solar Federation, it wasn't widely known, but we have recoded several other Empyrean-Class threats.

One of them were mythical Old Gods, the begins that predated the modern Universe and another were the acnint Star Gods, the C'than that were predating on the Stars themselves and could warp reality to their whims as they wished.

Aside from that, there were several others, including the myth among humanity that we had an Empyrean-Class being among us, called simply Revelation or, as the Chaos Gods called him, the Anathema.

But that was only the myth... and I would only consider it as a myth if some of the information that I obtained through various sources didn't mention someone called God Emperor of Mankind.

Then it came to me... that the legend about Anathema was truth.

I needed to be extra careful not only about the Chaos Gods, but also about the Anathema, especially about the Anathema, because when I heard what the man was doing, something was bugging me greatly...

What was his aim...

During the centuries and millennia, I sent or paid many infiltrators to enter the Immaterius Universe and many successfully entered... though unfortunately for them, they couldn't remain there for a prolonged period of time.

Most of them were soon expelled by the Will of the Universe after a few days, but even that was enough to collect enough intelligence on the happenings within the Immaterius Universe and it gave me enough to have stable insight on the situation there.

"Aside from the Powers of Ruin, the greatest threat, possibly even bigger than the Powers of Ruin, is the Anathema... even during the time I was alive there, I heard myths and legends about human Perpetual Psyker that appeared through the course of 30,000 years of human history. A man of unprecedented wisdom, intelligence, power, might, and vision who guided humanity through the hardest times. Though most of the leadership of the Human Solar Federation were aware of the rumors, many disregarded them as pure myth, me included... but now..."

I said quietly as my wives looked at me with interest, together with Diablo.

"Isn't he doing essentially the same thing as Okhwang back then?"

Hela knew the circumstances of the God Emperor of Mankind because she studied it profoundly; in fact, all my wives did because we had a lot of free time on our hands nowadays.

"Most probably... he is attempting to swallow the entire Warp, then fuse it together with the Realspace, becoming Universe Master and Paragon at the same time. Due to the peculiarities of the Immaterius Universe, if this is his plan, then it could work splendidly and he would become one of the most frightening Psionic Entities within the Endless Void, on the same level as the Primogenotors of the Mind Flayers and Void Insects."

This was, of course, only my own assumption about the God Emperor of Mankind, but it was the best explanation that I could come up with.

Certainly, if he grew powerful enough, then he would simply swallow the entire Warp together with the Chaos Gods and used to the Paragon Rank without any problem.

"He is the most dangerous type of opponent... one that could wait and plan for tens of thousands of years without a problem, even suffer tremendous losses if it was absolutely necessary."

Gu Yuena voiced her thoughts for the first time since they started discussing this theme, and she was obviously right. Even I was greatly wary about the Anathema, because the man was dangerous, not only power-wise, but mainly due to his wisdom and intellect.

This was something that made even several times more dangerous than any other being and If I was right, then even the Chaos Gods were most probably obvious to the true intentions of the God Emperor of Mankind.

He was hiding his master plan behind the unification of Mankind and protection of the Human Race; his masterfully crafted persona was helping in this tremendously and was giving him the cover that he desperately needed for his plan to be successful.

"It would be best to lay low as much as possible... even though according to the information from the intelligence gathering that you obtained, most of the begins were not that powerful within the Immaterius Universe, some of the entities that are recorded there are giving me fright."

I nodded, hearing Grayfia because while the Immaterius Universe didn't have a high average power rank, it was greatly disparities.

Most of the people were not very strong, mostly ranging around Tier 1 to Tier 3, but at the same time, there was no small number of even Exarchs within the Immaterius Universe.

Not to mention, some of the technologies that were in the hands of Aeldari and Necrons were capable of obiterating the entire Galaxies without any second thought. I needed to be extremely careful when wandering into the Immaterius Universe, but not even this discouraged me from going there.

"I have taken it all into consideration, and right now, I am creating several tens of backup plans for various situations."

I already had prepared several contingency plans in case something went wrong.

Chapter 636 – Where it all Began… New
I prepared several backup plans in case something went wrong because I couldn't afford something messing up entirely and destroying the whole plan. This journey to the Immaterius Universe was far more important than anyone imagined.

Thus, everything was prepared with the most meticulous care for the reincarnation process into the Immaterius Universe. The entire procedure was relatively simple, or at least it seemed pretty simple for me.

I will split a part of my soul and nourish the part of my soul to strength enough to withstand the reincarnation process to the Immaterius Universe. The reincarnation process itself wasn't even reincarnation, but rather, it would be me controlling the part of my soul, to enter the Immaterius Universe

Then I will reconstruct my body, using the resources from the Immaterius Universe, naturally depending on the planet I would arrive at. I already chose one of the hidden-back sites of the Solar Federation that was used for testing the MTC project and other Top-Secret Projects of the Solar Federation.

Mostly, it was a place, that was serving as a research site into the Warp and coutnering the powers of the Aeldari and developing ways to increase the Psyker potential of Humanity and preparing for a possible war against the Aeldari Empire.

With my power at the Primarch Rank, it would be enough to create my body from scratch, as unfortunate it was, the part of my soul that I would be sent to the Immaterius Universe wouldn't have the strength of the Primarch.

Only a small part of it, but that should be enough to reconstruct the body with the highest possible potential for me there. I would be entirely reverting to the new power system of the Warp; that was something that I hadn't seen for a very, very long time already.

It would be already fifteen thousand years...

Everything was prepared; the soul that I split from myself a few years ago could be sent to the Immaterius Universe at any time, though I wanted to make some additional modifications to the soul part.

Mostly to inscribe a part of the Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin into the soul part.

While the soul already contained some of it, because it was a fundamental part of my very own existence, I needed to get more of the Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin into the Immaterius Universe.

The more Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin I manage to bring with me to the Immaterius Universe the better.

The sole reason why I was going through so much pain was to bring a pure crystalized form of the Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin that could be created only by condensing the tremendous force of the Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin into one point, to the point, where it would create something akin to a Black Hole.

That would then collapse into self and if controlled explosion that would then create crystallized form of the Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin.

I needed these crystals of Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin, because they could be used to make better vessel for the part of my soul or to use as the last resort in fight.

In case I got into a battle that would be far above my power then the crystallized form of the Law Godhood: Primogenitus of the End and Ruin, would basically save my hide in case the enemy proved to be more powerful than I could handle.

It would take a long time to reach the required power to be safe within the Immaterius Universe, considering all of the threats that were present in that dammed place.

Somewhere in the Higher Dimensional World of Baator, 9th Layer Nessus, Nurmengard.

I was finally prepared to conduct the last part of the game, the last move that I would achieve, the transmigration of the Soul Shard into the Immaterius Universe.

"Architect, open the portal."

Deep underground in the Nurmengard Fortress, I was preparing for the transmigration of part of my Soul into the Immaterius Universe. Diablo has already activated his special skill and infused himself into the part of my Soul, as he would be coming with me.

[Actviating the Trans-Cosmic Generator.]

[Approximate time: 10 seconds.]

Once the Trans-Cosmic Generator was opened, it would last for approximately 10 seconds, no more and no less. During the 10 seconds, I would need to conduct the ritual and send that Soul Shard into the Immaterius Universe.

The connection between him and the Soul Shard would still remain, as I would be dividing his consciousness to control the Soul Shard. Ten seconds was far more than enough for me to conduct the ritual.

"Roger that... increase the output, activate the supportive spell matrix."

I said as I looked at the Soul Shard that was floating in front of my eyes; as the kaleidoscopic portal opened... the runes started glowing and redirecting energy towards the Magitek device that was the Trans-Cosmic Generator that opened a portal to the Immaterius Universe.

[Energy redirected...]

[Portal stable.]

[Countdown begins.]

[Soul Shard entering the Trans-Cosmic Portal.]

[Kaleidoscopic Interference negated.]

[Soul Shard successfully passed through the Trans-Cosmic Portal.]

When my Soul Shard successfully passed through the Trans-Cosmic Portal, I sighed in relief because I could still sense the connection that I had with the Soul Shard. At the same time, the Kaleidoscopic Energies of the Endless Void didn't intervene with the Soul Shard.

Soon enough, I saw the Soul Shard passing through the scrutiny of the Will of the Universe belonging to the Immaterius Universe. My heart was beating extremely fast at that part, but soon enough, it calmed down when the Will of the Universe accepted the Soul Shard.

It seems that the Will of the Immaterius Universe still remembered me and took me as its own, fortunately...

If not, then it would basically crumble all of my plans, but it seems that the Soul Origin that was engraved in my very own Soul was still partly that of the Immaterius Universe.

Chapter 637 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (1) New
Kadath Universe, Higher Dimensional World of Baator, 9th Layer of the Baator Nessus, Holy Imperial Capital of Anor Londo

Life within the Chthonian Empire of the Baator within the Higher Dimensional World of Baator was going on as always. Nothing much has changed, and the changes that were taking place for the Baatorians were slow.

All species that lived within the Higher Dimensional World of Baator, be it the Devils, Fallen Angels, Dragons, Yokai, Dwarves, Gnomes, and several other species that inhabited the place, were all very long-lived species.

Many of them had already achieved at least some sort of agelessness, so they were not even aging a bit. So, from a certain perspective of things, life within the Baator was perpetual, eternal, and ageless.

If someone asked what the least changing place was within the entire Higher Dimensional World of Baator, then the answer was clear...

Ecclesiarchy.

The place which was dedicated to the worshipping the Baatorian Pantheon and the Gods of the Baator.

And in fact, it was just a very well-working machine whose sole purpose was overseeing the process of harvesting Faith and worshippers.

Manipulation with the Power of Faith was a tricky thing, even for the Gods of Baator, who were using special methods to refine the Faith. As the Baatorian Gods were using the specific method of refining the Faith, during the process of refinement, it lost approximately one-tenth of its power.

Meaning for example, if someone gathered 1,000 Units of the Power of Faith and refined it through the special method, then the usable amount would be something around 100 Units of the Power of Faith.

Indeed, it was a tremendous loss, but at the same time, the resulting energy was free of any traps or anything. One didn't need to undergo the risk of Faith Corruption and be dependent on the Faith itself.

Right now, for the past millennia, the Ecclersiarchy was spreading the Faith of the Baatorian Gods in the various lower dimensions and worlds that were not inhabited by the citizens of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator.

Simultaneously, the Ecclesiarchy was tasked with watching over the theocratic states that were created within such worlds and were in the task of harvesting the Power of Faith into specific Magitek Devices that were substituting the Gods that were worshipped.

Rias Gremory was the Ecclesiarch of the Ecclesiarchy for several thousand years already, from the time since the Ecclesiarchy was first established, despite the distance of her father from the idea of Godhood.

Nevertheless, she prided herself in the job of the Ecclesiarch because she genuinely enjoyed the job she was given. It was fun for her, and she could at least make use of the talent for manipulation.

Now that they have started spreading to the Lower Dimension of the Kadath Universe more actively, as the Kadath Universe was expanding at a tremendous rate and there were already many Lower Worlds and Middle Worlds that were chosen to be suitable for the induction into the Faith of the Baatorian Pantheon.

The mortals that were present within such worlds were destined for the eternity of worship of the Gods from the Baatorian Pantheon and also the Douluo Divine Pantheon, that last one at least partially.

One of the jobs of the Ecclesiarch of the Ecclesiarchy was to oversee the induction of the worlds into the true Faith as some of the fanatical called it. While within the Higher Dimension World of Baator, the worship was more or like only among the certain levels of the society.

Not many fanatically worshipped the Gods, only those who were mostly under the Level of the Beings of Law. However, there were always exceptions, like everything in life is...

Today, she was going to personally oversee the induction of one of the Middle Worlds that was recently discovered on the edges of the Kadath Universe. The world was graded as Middle World, despite its size being almost rivaling that of the High World.

What was interesting about that fact was the reality that the world was almost devoid of anything that could be even remotely connected to the supernatural aspect of existence.

Or there was some kind of supernatural, but it was very well hidden; such a thing was right now impossible to tell because nobody really bothered to scout the entire Middle World properly.

For that, Rias herself chose to oversee the induction of the world and also to evaluate the working of the Clergy of the Ecclesrairchy. There was also a need to re-adjust the protocols when it came to spreading the Faith of the Baatorian Pantheon.

"My Lady, Your Husband has arrived."

There was constantly a lot of work at the Ecclesiarchy, but Rias already learned that she could dump a lot of it on her assistants and on the Artificial Intelligence that were within the Ecclesiarchy.

Though, she was surprised that her husband had wandered to the Ecclesrairchy because he wasn't really fond of anything even remotely related to the Gods and Divien for several reasons, though the most notable was his inborn ability.

Denial of the Divine.

"Yes, yes, I am here, and everyone knows it. Can you stop being such a bother?"

She could hear his annoyed voice as her man swiftly found his way to her office, which was stylized in typical Yokai architecture. Something that was partly reminiscent of her time in Japan during the times of the Draconic Deus.

Such a good times.

"For once, can you stop creating a ruckus, Vali? At least you can announce your arrival some time before... gods above, you are one of the Imperial Elders of the Chthonian Empire and one of the peak Tier 11 Devils within the Baator."

Formal behavior and her husband didn't really get along, something that was always riling her up, since they were teens. Even after several thousand years, Vali hasn't changed even a bit...

Which was...

And on the other side it was extremely annoying while it was also heartwarming.

Chapter 638 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (2) New
It seemed that no matter how many years had passed, her husband would probably never grow from his delinquent-like behavior. That was one of the remaining and non-changing constants that seemed to be for eternity.

Since Vali was basically free of any governmental positions, he had a lot of free time already and did not have much to do. One of their descendants was taking the position of the Lord Marshall Militant, while Vali was right now playing Lord of their territory.

As one of the Imperial Elders, his sole responsibility was the protection of the Higher Dimensional World of Baator, the Chthonian Empire of the Baator, and right now, even that of the Kadath Universe as a whole.

"You should really find something better to do than just lazying around for whole years."

Contrary to her, as she was responsible for the entire Ecclesiarchy, which was an enormous colossus of the administration and countless departments, each charged with a different purpose and goal, Vali was...

Free, one could say.

He wasn't doing much for most of the time, aside from the time he was tasked with the subjugation of some very powerful monsters that tended to appear near the Kadath Universe or within the Kadath Universe.

However, lately, he was spending more and more time lazying around together with some of his other wives. It wasn't very helpful that Kuroka and Bellatrix were almost as lazy as him for the past few centuries and were content with doing nothing.

However, lately, her newest sister-wife was more and more interested in researching some really nasty forbidden dark magic. It even caught the interest of the Magister of the Arcane and Magic and some of the old coots that had been researching secrets of the Arcane for the past ten millennia.

Kuroka, on the other hand, was a special case because she was a Nine-Tailed Nekoshou Goddess, so she got stronger just by existing and absorbing Lifeforce, Magic, and Refined Divine Energy.

The only one responsible among them was Latia, who was working with her uncle at the Magisterium of the Arcanotek and Mechanicum, developing splendid Machines of War and a new generation of the Arcane Mechanical Automatons.

"Who would have thought that little rebellious Rias would become so uptight..."

Her husband muttered, sitting down on the sofa as she visibly pouted at him in a more cute manner. This would be an almost unbelievable scene for anyone watching who knew Rias in her teenage years because she always used to be so rebellious.

Or the times when she was still spoiled brat, that was already so long ago, and yet it felt like it was all yesterday for both of them.

She didn't have it easy; that was common knowledge after she was stripped of her Imperial Princess status and thrown into the Execution Temple as an initiate. Something that was done by her father to discipline her and also to show to the vast Imperial Nobiltiy that nobody was above the rules that the Father of All Devils made.

And it was something that helped her rise beyond the meager limits and to become what she was today. Even Rias herself would admit that if not for the punishment, then she would probably never strive actively to get better.

She was very lazy by nature, and it required a lot of self-discipline for her to adhere to her duties properly.

"So, where are you heading?"

Vali means while was getting more and more bored because there was right now nothing to do within the Baator. There were no conflicts, and while the entire Kadath Universe was preparing for the Universal Wars, that would be in the distant future.

Not right now.

"We discovered a suitable world where we can start preaching, but because the world is enormous, while technically being only Lower World, I decided to personally take a look. It is possible that it is an anomaly happening there."

Anomalies were rather common within newly created Universe and especially in the special ones like the Kadath Universe. Usually, when an anomaly happened, it resulted in something great happening there, possibly the birth of a very unusual and powerful treasure.

"Ts... at least there could be someone worthy to fight against..."

Rias rolled her eyes when she heard her husband, but what did she expect from a battle maniac like him?

"Maybe... I don't know... do you wish to go or just brood here?"

She asked as he, in the end, agreed before he started staring at the roof and thinking about something.

"We should also invite Kuroka, Latia and Bella... it would be nice to have some family trip without anyone bothering us."

As Rias thought about it, she smiled because she could make use of some vacation from her duties, and checking up on the Lower World, especially if it was an anomalous one, would be worthy of a vacation.

"We can certainly do that. I will send them a message, and you can go and order for Capital Ship to arrive at Anor Londo to pick us up."

She knew that it was rare for all of them to go on a trip like this because usually, everyone was attending their duties. In most cases, it was Rias and Latia who were most busy, though when the situation called for it, Vali was called to combat against threats.

"As you wish... Bellatrix now has some free time, until Magister Grindewald finishes his experiment."

She recognized that name, because Gellert Grindelwald was one of the humans that her husband brought from one of the god-forsaken realms of parallel Earth somewhere in the time vortex cycle.

He quickly rose into the Tiers, and with his mastery over the Magic and Arcae, especially those foul ones, Dark Magic, and Forbidden Spells, he became one of the most respected Magisters within the entire Chthonian Empire of the Baator.

The title of Magister was not solely for the leaders of the Magisterium as it was in the times of old, but nowadays, it was also reserved for those who achieved unprecedented accomplishments in the field of Magic, Arcane, or Arcanotek.

Chapter 639 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (3) New
Vali really hoped that the new trip would give them some surprise, at least some titan to fight against, to test his new power. He was already nearing the limit of the Tier 11 and he was preparing to break to the Tier 12 any time.

The sole thing that remained for him was the creation of his Arcane Crest, which was a rather arduous task for a battle maniac like him. This required a very delicate approach, something that he was even receiving pointers from his father when he had time.

The Father of All Devils had high hopes for Vali because he knew that Vali could reach greater heights given enough time and resources. His combination of Laws and special abilities would make him an extremely powerful opponent.

Once he incorporated the Denial of the Divine into his Arcane Crest, his father told him that he would have a good chance of beating even pinnacle Tier 12 beings that were of the Divine Origin.

Not just Godhood, but the Denial of the Divine worked against everything that was of the Divine Origin, no matter what it was. It was indeed a pretty broken ability, even the Imperial Elder of the House Lucifer had to admit.

While he let Rias to take care of her matters, he went to acquire his private Capital Ship for the endeavor as they would be going to the vacation. He would also go and pick up Latia and Kuroka because both of them were right now at the Anor Londo.

At the same time, he wanted to get out of the Ecclesiarchy as soon as possible because he wasn't really comfortable around these zealot fanatics who would kill anyone who would desecrate their Faith in the Baatorian Gods.

He also made a mental note to visit Albion when he returned from the vacation, as it was already a few centuries since he saw the White Dragon of Supremacy last time. Right now, Albion and Ddraig are both second highest-ranked Dragons, representing the Dragon population of the Higher Dimensional World of Baator.

Dragons were one of the most populous races of the Higher Dimensional World of Baator, controlling the 4th Layer of the Baator Phlegethos. Right now, there were hundreds of thousands of them, perhaps even a few million already, which was a very nice number.

Considering their reproduction speed, which was shitty low.

Unfortunately, with the realms at peace, both Albion and Ddraig were sleeping for most of the time, not only him but also Crom Cruach, who was one of the Elders of the Baator or his mate Tiamat.

All of the most powerful dragons of the Baator were sleeping because, for them, it was just another way of increasing their power and growing stronger. Because Vali was partly Dragoinoid, he could do the same.

Even Devils could go into prolonged hibernation to increase their power, but he wasn't really fond of that method.

For him, it felt empty and not really worth of it...

***

Magisterium of the Arkanotek, Anor Londo

"It seems that I must cut my work short Uncle... my husband told me that we are going on vacation."

In a place surrounded by machinery and various artifacts, a beautiful woman with almond eyes with long blond hair with blue hair tips as she looked at the Holo-Brain on her hand.

Even though she was a bit irritated that she needed to halt her work, she had a fond smile on her face because it had been a long time since she had had a nice and good vacation. She also read that even Rias, Kuroka and Bellatrix were going.

Compared to Rias and Kuroka, whom she had known for several millennia, Bellatrix was a new addition to their love dynamics. And she was a former human, which was most surprising, though her Bloodline Taletns certainly compensated it...

She knew that while Bellatrix was right now Tier 9, even some of the Tier 11 beings would suffer severely from her most dangerous Forbidden Dark Spells and Curses. She could cast them like nothing, with her immunity towards them and unnatural talent and affinity for the Dark Magic.

Such things were exceedingly rare even within the entire Kadath Universe.

Because she was something that could be called Balance Breaker.

Her talent was something that even she was envious of, despite not being the Forbidden Dark Magic user.

"You should go; I will finish the project alone... we are already at the end, and right now, only a few finishing touches are missing."

Ajuka Beelzebub said with a stoical expression, as always, while watching his niece depart.

When he left, he continued to think about things as he always did. Ajuka Beelzebub was never much interested in politics and other bothersome things, even as Magister of the Magisterium of the Arcanotek, he wasn't really dealing with the political agenda.

His niece Latia was much after him; that was one of the reasons why she chose a career in the Magisterium of the Arcanotek and Mechanicum, where she was building her Mechs and other types of Golems and mechanical things.

***

And while Latia was departing from the Magisterium of the Arcanotek, another one of the Vali Lucifer's wives, Kuroka Tojou was sleeping soundoyl while her nine tails were swfing from one side to another.

It was another good day to spend sleeping she though, because she didn't really have anything to do. She was the sole Nine-Tailed Nekoshou Goddess who acted as the leader of their entire species, the protector of the Nekomatas and Nekoshous.

Though she wasn't the sole Nine-Tilaed Nekomata and Kekoshou, she was still the most powerful one from their entire species. So, she just spent most of her time sleeping and lazying around, and enjoyed the luxury of life.

And obviously, the highest living standards the Chthonian Empire of the Baator could offer someone. Not only was she a direct member of the Imperial House Lucifer and married to a 1st Generation descendant, but her personal strength was also pretty fearsome.

Chapter 640 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (4) New
Somewhere in the Kadath Universe, Lower Dimension of the Kadath Universe.

Since the ascension of the Father of All Devils into Primarch and becoming Universe Master, the entire Kadath Universe was divided into the Lower Dimension and Upper Dimension, mostly to prevent the stronger worlds from exploring the lower and weaker worlds while also giving the slighter worlds a chance for the proper development.

The only world that had the ability to travel through the Lower Dimension and Upper Dimension Freely as one wished was the Higher Dimensional World of the Baator, namely the Chthonian Empire, could do as they wished.

Due to that, only the Chthonian Empire could freely traverse the entire Kadath Universe as it wished, though, obviously, there were some restrictions on the Empire imposed by the Father of All Devils himself in the first place.

The personal flagship of the Vali Lucifer was actually the Space Fortress of the Phalanx-Class named Silver Emperor, and it was one monstrosity of metal, and various other elements, including some Agreas Crystals.

The ship was manned by a lot of Arcane Mechanical Automatons and Golems, together with the former members of the Khaos Brigade that served as Vali's personal Honor Guards, called the Stormwind Regiment.

Slowly enough, the enormous monstrosity of the spaceship was heading towards one precise Middle World that was located at the edges of the Lower Dimension of the Kadath Universe.

Normally, nobody would typically use even Capital Ships like this, but Vali Lucifer could use the entire Space Fortress as his personal means of transportation. Such privilege was awarded to only a few people across the whole Kadath Universe.

Space Fortresses were very rare even during these days; there were not many of them, and the Chthonian Empire of the Baator could construct one every few hundred years because it took extremely long to construct even one of them.

Right now, each Phalanx-Class Space Fortress had firepower comparable to the absolute limit of Tier 12, and technically speaking, it could destroy large parts of the weaker Universes.

One could easily say that the entire Phalanx-Class Space Fortress was like a miniature city that was capable of spaceflight. The Silver Emperor was no exception to the rule because it was right now housing several thousands of people.

He knew that his father and his wives had a preference for traveling mostly alone, without anyone, and with just some of the most trusted personal servants and Mechs.

Vali was rather different in this aspect because Rias and Latia refused to travel without any entourage, while Kuroka wanted to have as many personnel around so she didn't have to do anything personally.

Bellatrix was probably the most spoiled among them...

Still, Vali was right now overseeing the marching formations of the Stormwind Regiment, who were currently in the middle of their training.

Most of the members of the Stormwind Regiment, actually approximately 95% of them were veterans of the Khaos Brigade from the times when Vali was still commander of the Khaos Brigade.

"En March!"

He gave the command to the troops as their training was officially over; Vali decided to rest for the rest of the trip toward the specific Middle World.

"Have you already finished playing on soldier?"

Meanwhile, Vali was training his personal honor guards; his four wives were spending their time having a tea party. This was an activity that Rias and Bellatrix especially enjoyed...

"Whatever... do you have something for me too?"

Even though Vali wasn't too fond of the tea parties and similar occasions among the nobility of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator, where the single thing that they were doing was spreading rumors and gossips.

Kuroka was looking bored as he was, most probably because this wasn't her most favorite activity that she could do. Latia was a curious case about this because while she would have preferred something different, she also knew that it wasn't bad to have some rest.

"We should be arriving at the Midlde World in a few hours at best... the ship's AI has notified me about some weird activity in this sector of the Lower Dimension; it is possible that something powerful is hiding here."

There was some small possibility that a powerful being was born in the Lower Dimension of the Kadath Universe; such occasions were actually pretty rare, but they often happened.

"So, you could have the fight that you carving for..."

Indeed he would, so he was rather satisfied with the situation, that much that he decided to spend the next few hours together with his views and listening to them, which would make them certainly much happier and agreeable for the future...

Endeavors, let's say.

***

The Middle World, where the Silver Emperor was flying, was located on the edges of the Lower Dimension, and it would actually take a few hours till they arrived at their destination.

When the Silver Emperor finally arrived in the vicinity of the Middle World, which became Rias's object of interest, the Space Fortress started slowing. Suddenly, from the Space Fortress, several ten members of the Stormwind Regiment descended from the Silver Emperor and started securing the entire area.

When Rias reported that the entire Middle World was weird by a great degree, Vali took it pretty much seriously because sometimes even the most unassuming matters could lead to some tremendous rewards...

Sometimes, they could even lead to tremendous disasters.

The entire reward was sealed rather fast and easily, as the members of the Stormwind Regiment cast one enormous seal across the entire place, which would prevent anyone from entering or leaving the Middle World for the time being.

He didn't want to take risks with the suspicious-looking Middle World; it was something that was the last thing he had on his plan. Even Vali found it deeply suspicious and disturbing when he noticed that the Middle World was already the size of the High World, and yet...

The presence of the supernatural powers was almost zero to null.

"There is something hidden in this world... Its presence is... slightly disturbing."

Chapter 641 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (5) New
It was rare when someone of Vali's power sensed something this dreadful from something... it was a very, very rare thing to happen, so he decided to act very cautiously in this situation.

When he was done with scanning the entire Middle World, he decided to return back to the Silver Emperor, where he met with his wives, who were already preparing to descend to the Middle World.

Because it was an unnamed one, they were all calling it just the "Middle World."

However, it was clearly noted that it was rather developed, and the temporal bubble around the Middle World was rather strong because all the civilizations within the Middle World were rather developed.

"All of you, be careful when you descend down... I felt something really powerful within that world, so I was careful about every single step. We will conduct an in-depth search of the Middle World."

All four of his spouses agreed with the sentiment because it was the prudent approach, rather be safe than sorry. Due to her experience in the Ecclesiarchy, Rias knew that some of the most unassuming worlds, could be actually extremely dangerous and filled with dread and dangers.

"This world had around it a Temporal Bubble for nobody knows how long; it is highly possible that the natives are relatively well developed, despite the obvious lack of the supernatural presence that could be hiding from plain sight like we did during the times of the old Draconic Deus."

Latia commented as she was donning her power armor because she was one of the top designers of the Power Armor within the entire Chthonian Empire of the Baator, which was an especially remarkable achievement.

"Or there is also a second possibility..."

The first eventuality that Latia said was actually the much better one because the second one was way worse. If the first was true, then it was underbelly that the malicious and powerful aura that Vali felt during the scanning of the Middle World was due to some kind of artifact or natural occasion.

"Are you suggesting that one?"

While Kuroka and Bellatrix didn't know what the two of them were talking about, Rias only had some suspicions; she had some hunch that it was even more dangerous.

"Yes... if someone of that level managed to sneak into the Kadath Universe, then it would be possible that they would be hiding in the Lower Dimension. Father said that in certain cases, his authority of the Universe Master could falter in some unique locations across the Kadath Universe."

Vali knew that there was a possibility that some unique Tier 12 lifeform managed to enter the Kadath Universe and hide here. The possibility was rather low for such an act, considering the fact that his father was a powerful Tier 13 Primarch, Universe Master, but some unique lifeforms could pull such a trick.

"What Vali is talking about is there is a certain possibility some powerful Tier 12 being managed to slip into the Kadath Universe and is right now hiding with that Middle World; it could be one of the explanations behind the powerful malicious aura that he felt..."

Latia explained for her sister-wives to hear, as each of them looked far more serious than before; even Kuroka, who was previously half-asleep during the time, now perked up hearing that because the situation became several times more dangerous.

However, for their battle-maniac husband, it was actually like a heaven-sent blessing because he would get to fight extremely powerful foes. Not to mention, if it was someone who managed to bypass the protections and defenses of the Kadath Universe, then it would be certainly worth foe.

"I think if this is a real possibility, we should implement infiltration protocols when dealing with this world. Carefully scout what is ahead of us, and only then shall we make a move. While this would take way more time, we can carefully gather information before acting; the situation is already complicated enough as it is."

Rias said with a mild sigh and a frustrated tone because when they arrived at the vicinity of the Middle World, Vali didn't restrain his aura a bit, and if, within the Middle World, a powerful Tier 12 being was hiding, then it would have already long ago discovered them.

So, the moment of surprise was thrown out of the window.

On the other side...

Any Tier 12 being could tell that two of them were related to the Primarch and Universe Master of the Kadath Universe, so there was a very high probability of the unknown Tier 12 being activating very cautiously.

When Vali looked at Ria's, he knew that they were thinking about the same thing; he knew that as long as they didn't cross a certain degree of vulnerability, then they wouldn't be attacked by the Tier 12 entity that could possibly be hiding within the Middle World.

So this would give them enough time and space to conduct their research and confirm many things.

***

The entire Middle World had several enormous supercontinents, and the population of the entire Middle World was in several tens of billions. Considering the world size of the High World, it wasn't the biggest population around, though from what he noticed, there was only one species.

Only humans were populating the Middle World; there were no different species.

Each of the continents seemed to be accepted by one of the superpowers of the world, though here and there, some smaller nations managed to preserve their sovereignty in the endless fight for absolute dominance and hegemony.

The place where Vali, together with his wives, decided to descend was a continent belonging to the Anjleimaun Federation, in the capital city of the Anjleimaun Federation, Beaugas.

The city wasn't impressive or anything to either of them, though they noticed a few peculiarities of the civilization in the Middle World. The one which was probably the most notable was the fact that their technological level was relatively high, one could say.

Some of their technologies were really backward, around the times of the early 20th century, by the earthen standards of the Draconic Deus, but some things were interesting and appealing even to Latia when she first noticed them.

Chapter 642 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (6) New
Firearms have an unmatched position in the Anjleimaun Federation. Whether it is martial practitioners or beasts such as tigers, lions, and leopards, none of them stand a chance against firearms.

Since the crystallization of human civilization in this world, firearms have had no effect on Vali; the local mobsters who attempted to rob them realized that they had met someone whom they shouldn't have offended.

Even in the Transcendent Church, only the pinnacle existences can achieve this degree of invulnerability. Obviously, this was only applicable to the mortals who worshipped the Gods of the Transcendent Church.

In the Anjleimaun Federation, only those high-ranking members of the government knew about the truth of the Transcendent Church and its power and how deep it was. Though, there were many rumors about the Transcendent Church and its influence on the world.

Yet it was undeniable that the Transcendent Church was the most powerful organization in the entire Middle World. Though at the same time, the nations of the world often suppressed the information about the Transcendent Church to cull the influence of the Transcendent Church

The reason why a person in a higher position appears to show greater insight than a person in a lower position is because there is a massive gap in information between the two parties.

Vali and others spent a few days collecting information about the world, countries, nations, people, and, of course, the Transcendent Church.

The Transcendent Church is a religious organization that believed in the Three Transcendent Kings. The Three Transcendent Kings are the Vajra Transcendent, the Goddess of the Earth, and the Six-eyed Transcendent.

According to legend, the Vajra Transcendent has the most powerful Divine Body, which no spell can break. Vajra Transcendent was revered as the most powerful of them and was attributed to creating and establishing the new natural order of all things.

Something that struck Vali and co in a very bad way, especially Rias, because she was responsible for the Ecclesiarchy and spreading the Faith in the Baatorian Gods of the Higher Dimension World of the Baator.

If the more fanatical and zealous members of the Ecclesiarchy hear about this, they would immediately declare the Holy Crusade on this middle world and slaughter everyone residing in this world before they would blast this world into smitterness.

However, it seemed that the Vajra Transcendent wasn't the only interesting one in the Transcendent Church.

The Goddess of the Earth was rumored to be unbeatable as long as she was connected to the very own concept of the Earth itself. And the Six Eyes of the Six-Eyed Transcendent were rumored to hold different Divine Abilities each.

Among them, two hold the power of fire and ice, respectively. As for the other four eyes, anyone who witnessed their Divine Powers is dead.

Not only was the Transcendent Church rumored to have three peerless Transcendent Kings, but they also had the numbers on their side. Under the Three Transcendent Kings, there are 36 Upper Transcendents, 72 Middle Transcendents, and 608 Lower Transcendents.

Even though this was supposed to be the Middle World, something was bugging Vali a lot because, according to the information they had gathered during the past week, including the ones from the interrogation of one of the high-ranking members of the Transcendent Church, this shouldn't be really possible.

"We need to do something about the Transcendent Church..."

In a certain part of the Anjleimaun Federation, Vali, together with Rias, Latia, Kuroka, and Belatrix, discussed what they learned about the Middle World and the Transcendent Church and what they should do about it.

Although the members of the Transcendent Church itself were powerful, far more than average mortal humans, even though they possessed some supernatural powers, they also possessed ordinary fleshly bodies.

They can be killed by marksmen or even by ordinary people if the average believers of the Transcendent Church were rather unlucky.

So, it was clear that the deities of the Transcendent Church were not giving much power to mortals, but at the same time, they were investing enough power to elevate their blessed ones above the masses of common humanity, making a difference.

It was highly possible that the leading deities of the Transcendent Church were far above the limits of the Middle World. No, it wasn't possible; Vali was sure that it was the truth because he was suspicious about this entire world.

And when he noticed that he had to put a lot of effort into the soul searching of some members of the Transcendent Church, he realized that they were very powerful, more powerful than the limit of the Middle World should allow.

It seemed that any plan that Rias previously planned to implement in this world, were right now being thrown out of the window.

"I propose we launch an invasion and lure them out, no matter how strong they are, they should be below the Tier 12, or else they would have long ago attacked the moment we entered this world. With the Crusading Forces of the Ecclesiarchy, we should be powerful enough to overwhelm them with relative ease."

As much as warmonger Vali was, the first solution to the problem for him was the use of the overwhelming military power, which was in the disposition of the Chthonian Empire of Baator.

Due to the influence of the Ecclesiarchy within the Empire, in one way or another, there were many people who believed in the Baatorian Gods, despite the fact that the Baatorians were very well aware of what Godhood was.

This stemmed from their origin as a pure Arcane Civilization in the long past. Yet, the power of the few Gods of the Baatorian Pantheon was above everything that many could achieve in their entire lives, even in the Chthonian Empire of the Baator with all of their resources possible.

For a moment, Rias even contemplated his words because they were at a serious numerical disadvantage and they were in absolute darkness about the true power of the Transcendents of the Transcendent Church.

"I don't know why, but I have very bad feelings around this place... and for such a weird place to appear immediately after Father went into deep seclusion."

Vali and Rias, we were one of the few people in the entire Kadath Universe who knew about the peculiar situation that the Father of All Devils was in.

Chapter 643 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (7) New
Due to this, both of them suspected that something was happening in the shadows because only someone of very high power could sense that the Father of All Devils was indisposed and at least not going to react to the Kadath Universe like he would normally do.

If this eventuality came to be true, then they would have a crisis situation on their hands; it didn't really help the situation that the Transcendent Church was keeping really low, especially their Transcendents that were worshipped as the deities by the Church itself.

"The best course of action should be to capture one of their weakest Transcendents and extract the information from their mind. This possibility would be problematic because if their Transcendent Kings are indeed as powerful as we presume them to be, then the minds and souls of the other Transcendents would be protected from such incursions."

Vali knew the problems that came up with such powerful entities, but alas, this solution was the best one in their situation. If they could confirm the exact power of the three Transcendent Kings, they could make the next move.

Which would certainly be an invasion of the entire Middle World en masse.

"Where should we actually start? It seems that in certain nations, the Transcendent Church has a much lower influence. Capturing some of their Transcendents would require us to get into the very core of the Church."

From the information gathered, they knew that within a certain nation of the Middle World, there was a place where the influence of the Transcendent Church wasn't particularly significant or powerful.

Those places were also the best ones to start because, for sure, Transcendents stationed within those places would be the weaker ones from the Transcendent Church. They would need to capture some of the Transcendents, interrogate them, and find every single one of their secrets before they could launch an en masse invasion into this world.

Or, in the case of this Middle World, it would be the Holy Crusade to burn down everything in this world.

"I already have a suitable contact... within the Purple Lily Garden, there is a woman named Dalia who should have contacts with the Transcendent Church."

***

In the middle of the house lies a huge altar with two idols of the Transcendents. Of the two idols, one has the body of a human but with six eyes on the head. The other has a fierce face and a horn on the head, is covered in black scales, and exudes a ferocious breath.

No matter in which Transcendent the believers of the Transcendent Church have faith, it can always be traced back to the Three Transcendent Kings since the other Transcendents are their subordinates. Therefore, when the believers of the Transcendent Church pray, they pray to two gods at the same time.

In front of the huge altar, there are six people prostrating themselves on the ground and silently reciting mysterious prayers. Vali and others were observing the group praying to the Spectral Wolf Transcendent keenly before the air started changing, and all of them could sense Divine Energy within the area.

"Very well, mortals... You have done me a great service."

The Spectral Wolf Transcendent spoke with a mighty voice, his grotesque form only adding to his intimidating presence.

The reason why humans worship and have faith in non-human, grotesquely-shaped gods like the Spectral Wolf Transcendent is because they are far more powerful than ordinary people and can provide their believers with formidable, extraordinary powers.

Sensing that the power of the Spectral Wolf Transcendent was nothing special, only around Tier 9. When Vali ascertained the threat, he deployed his domain around the place, trapping the Spectral Wolf Transcendent in place while at the same time killing the four humans who were worshipping him previously.

"My Lord, I am the Spectral Wolf Transcendent, a subordinate of the mighty Transcendent King, the Six-Eyed Transcendent. Please forgive me for my previous offense."

After the Spectral Wolf Transcendent got up from the ground, he bowed to Vali and said respectfully. Spectral Wolf Transcendent knew that Vali was someone extremely powerful, far above the level of his own, probably reaching the degree of the Three Transcendent Kings.

"Take me to see Six-eyed Transcendent."

The Spectral Wolf Transcendent replied with a bitter smile; he knew that his life was handing on a tin thread and he could die at any given moment. Even among the Transcendents of the Transcendent Church, the situation wasn't the best one around...

The Spectral Wolf Transcendent was one of the weaker 72 Lesser Transcendents, and his power wasn't anything special, even among the other 72 Lesser Transcendents of the Transcendent Church.

"My Lord, there have been no traces of His Highness Six-eyed Transcendent ever since the war with the Dark Transcendent King. We subordinates can't get in touch with him."

While the mortals were worshipping the Transcendent Church as a whole, the relationship between the Transcendents wasn't good because they were never unified as a whole. All of them were divided between three factions, each one of them belonging to one of the three Transcendent Kings.

Vali frowned when he heard that as the atmosphere in the place instantly got down by several degrees. He didn't really like where this was going, but at the same time, he already had certain suspicions about the situation in this Middle World.

"What is the strength of the three Transcendent Kings?"

The three Transcendent Kings were the ultimate rulers of this world, and they should be at least at the peak of Tier 11, according to his estimations.

"I don't know precisely, My Lord. The three Kings never explicitly stated their level of power, but we know that they are far more powerful than any other of the Transcendents."

The Spectral Wolf Transcendent stated fearfully as he didn't dare to meet Vali's gaze openly.

"What about the Dark Transcendent King?"

The Spectral Wolf Transcendent replied with a look of hatred in his eyes when he heard the name and title he dreaded so much.

The Dark Transcendent King.

Chapter 644 – Interlude: Ecclesiarchy (8) New
"The Dark Transcendent King? He was too arrogant. In the end, although he had severely wounded the Three Transcendent Kings. However, he was also severely wounded by us and then escaped the divine country. We lost track of him."

The Dark Transcendent King was another entity on the level of the three Transcendent Kings, but according to the information gathered, he was someone who stood even level above the three Transcendent Kings.

Apparently, it took the efforts of all Transcendents of the Transcendent Church to just fend off the man.

"Then, it seems that you are not very useful..."

Vali stated quietly as he grabbed the Spectral Wolf Transcendent by his head, and in a split second, the Spectral Wolf Transcendent's eyes went white as he started screaming in pain when his consciousness was crushed in a mere moment.

From the memories, he concluded a lot and got an approximate idea about the strength of the Transcendent Kings...

It seemed that the Three Transcendent Kings of the Transcendent Church were at the peak of Tier 11, while the Dark Transcendent King was at the Half-Step of Tier 12.

That was the reason why he was so feared; additionally, it seemed that the Dark Transcendent King had some really nasty innate abilities that were really troublesome to deal with, something that even the three Transcendent Kings of the Transcendent Church couldn't really deal with.

The Spectral Wolf Transcendent knew more than he let out.

It seemed that the fear of the Transcendent Kings was ingrained deep within his very own existence, but when Vali wanted to access some more important memories, he realized that there was a seal placed on them.

It was a cleverly hidden, weak seal that he broke the very own moment when he broke the Spectral Wolf Transcendent's mind.

Unfortunately, the sole purpose of the seal was to notify the Transcendent Kings when something happened to his mind like this time.

"We need to act as fast as possible..."

All four of his wives appeared at the place through teleportation circles as they were listening to the conversation between the Spectral Wolf Transcendent and Vali from another place.

"The strongest combatant in this part of the world is at the Half-Step Tier 12; the second ones are the three Transcendent Kings at the peak Tier 11, but they should be severely injured and hiding. Now that they know that we are aware of their strengths and situation, we don't have much time. We need to launch an immediate invasion as soon as possible."

Even though Rias wasn't an expert on military matters, she was far more apt when it came to dealing with people like the Transcendent of the Transcendent Church.

Right now, they have a small window of opportunity to make the first strike, or the Trhee Transcendent Kings will disappear altogether.

Most probably even from the Middle World, and they would move to another place within the Kadath Universe. That was an ending scenario that nobody really wanted to see, because it was one of the worst ones possible.

"We agree with the sentiment... now is the time to attack... Bellatrix is of the same mind, even though she looks rather bored for the moment. We need to conduct an invasion of this world and completely seal it through the Pillars."

Latia stated her opinion, though Bellatrix, even though she was playing with the escapee soul of the Spectral Wolf Transcendent, shared the sentiment that Latia stated.

Right now was the best time to launch an invasion of the Middle World if they wanted to capture all the high-ranking Transcendents.

If they wasted too much time, then it would be possible that the Transcendent Kings would already escape. They already knew that somebody extremely powerful from the Baator appeared in the Middle World.

It was only a matter of time before everything went to fuck.

"Then, they were sent to the Crusading Force to launch an invasion into the Anjleimaun Federation at first. In order to send back a request for the reinforcements, if we want to take this Middle World without much trouble, we need more manpower..."

Vali knew that with the current numbers of the Crusading Forces of the Ecclesiarchy it won't be enough to take the entire Middle World.

The Transcendents of the Transcendent Church and those under the Dark Transcendent King had far more firepower than they had, so for the complete specification of this Middle World, more men were needed.

Or perhaps Mechanical Legions, which was something that Latia enjoyed creating immensely and was venerated by the Mechanicum for her inventions in the field of the Arcanotek.

With the current information gathered about the powerhouses within the Middle World, Vali, in fact, predicted that it wouldn't take long before the entire Middle World was completely subjugated and everyone was brought back to the Chthonian Empire for further experiments.

It was clear that the Transcendents were some unique species; that was everything that Vali could say about them, but he was sure that the geeks back within the research institutes of the Empire would be delighted to study such fine specimens.

Chapter 645 – Being Reborn Again… New
MC POV

Being born again was a weird experience, especially when I was considering the fact that I was using only a part of my soul for the rebirth. I was born on the planet known as Fenran Rex IX., which was a frozen hellish world...

It was also classified as the Death World.

A Death World is a planet that has been judged by the Imperium to be too dangerous to support widespread Human settlement due to dangerous environmental conditions or the sheer ferocity of the fauna and flora that make up the planet's biosphere.

The types of Death Worlds are varied, ranging from planets that are covered by worldwide jungles that harbor vicious carnivorous plants and animals to barren rockscapes strewn with volcanoes and wracked by ion storms.

In at least one case, the planet itself is alive.

Fenran Rex IX was a frozen hellhole where only the strongest of the strongest managed to survive... I was reborn as a nameless orphan in a random village in the northern pole of the Fenran Rex IX, before the village was destroyed by the local fauna.

From there on, I wandered through the planet for some time; fortunately, the part of my soul that was used for my rebirth was strong enough, so I was able to use my power to reconstruct my body and age myself to adult form.

Being stuck as a child for another fifteen years or so would probably be one of the worst things that I could imagine. The problematic thing, though, was getting from the Fenran Rex IX because the world was under a permanent warpstorm of the Warp.

Still...

The Fenran Rex IX was rather interesting and it seemed that a lot has changed since I was living in the Immaterium Universe. The Golden Age of Technology, the time when the Solar Federation was dominating the Milky Way Galaxy and split it with the Aeldari Empire, has come to an end...

What has remained was the terrible vision of the Universe, where everything that humanity built was perverted by Faith, superstition, and fear of advancement and technology. This age of humanity was the worst version that I could see.

It seemed that the Faith had completely broken humanity, and from the bits of information I managed to find and gather, the Imperial Truth of the Emperor of Mankind was twisted into the disgusting Faith of the Imperial Cult that stands against everything that the Imperial Truth stood for.

Now the thing was... how to get out of this planet because it was covered by the permanent War Storm, and it was nigh impossible to leave. The fact that this place was rather primitive, or it would be more suitable to say it was largely primitive, didn't help it at all.

The only thing I could do right now was to search the planet for something useful, especially in the civilized areas of the planet, which were not numerous in the first place, and it was rare to encounter civilization.

Or perhaps it was just the fact that I was reborn in the most hostile areas of the planet, Fenran Rex IX, that still remains to be seen. For the past ten years, I have only been recovering my strength and surviving within the wilderness of the Fenran Rex IX.

Probably, the greatest downside of my rebirth within the Immaterius Universe was the fact that I needed to build my power from scratch due to the vastly different rules of the Immaterius Universe and the uniqueness of the Immaterius Universe itself.

The existence of the Warp was denying the existence of the powers that were not stemming from the Warp itself, and because only a small part of my soul was used in the rebirth process, I couldn't really do anything about it aside from adapting to the situation.

And it went rather well, aside from the dangerous flora and fauna, especially the Danger Beasts that were ever-present around the planet Fenran Rex IX. Some of them were especially dangerous even for me right now because I was not even at the Continental Level Combatant right now.

Regaining my power took far longer than I had initially anticipated; the suppression of the Will of the Universe of the Immaterius Universe was very strong, especially to me. Even though the Will of the Universe partially accepted me back, it still refused to accept anything that was even remotely connected to something that the Will of the Universe considered foreign.

Of course, my powers... the ones belonging to my true body belonged were considered as especially foreign to the existence of the Immaterius Universe, so the Will of the Universe was doing everything in its power to block my power from recovering.

For that, I needed to find another way to grow powerful to the degree where I could at least effectively protect myself. Interestingly enough, the Danger Beasts on this planet were part of the natural evolution of the planet.

Fenran Rex IX was one of the most hostile places across the entire Milky Way Galaxy, and it seemed that Warp Energy was fastening the evolution of the entire world, causing the local fauna and flora to evolve to ridiculous degrees.

Some of the Danger Beasts that I studied were indeed marvels of evolution; one could rarely see such dangerous creatures being born naturally, without any outside interference.

Right now, I was heading to another continent because, as it seemed, the continent where I was right now was barely populated, with only a sparse population. I needed to gather resources to reforge my body and increase the aptitude of my physique to create a better vessel for my power.

Unfortunately, even during the days of the Solar Federation in the Golden Age of Technology, the Fenran Rex IX was classified as a forbidden zone, and there were no settlements on the planet, aside from a few.

And all of them were located on the continent where I was heading right now.

Chapter 646 – Dangers of the Fenran Rex IX. New
Planets like Fenran Rex IX. were dangerous places, and during the Solar Federation, planets under the permanent Warp Storm were exceedingly rare. Warp during the 24th Millennium, there were no permanent Warp Storms around the planets.

The Solar Federation only rarely encountered the planet under the permanent Warp Storm, and when I was alive in the 24th Millennium, we only encountered such a planet only twice, and I was able to study such a planet only once.

Because the entire planet Fenran Rex IX. was cold as hell, even with my current strength and body physique, I felt the coldness of Fenran Rex IX. as everything was covered in ice and snow.

The chilling air was freezing; if not for the clothes that I made from the fur of some of the powerful Danger Beasts that I killed in the wilderness, I would have had serious problems surviving in this place. The entire place was troublesome as fuck, and I couldn't wait till I was completely using Warp Energy.

Because I couldn't use most of my conventional methods to travel, I was forced to go on foot. Fortunately, my physique had already reached supernatural levels; if not for that, it would be much more troublesome than right now.

Right now, my understanding of the Warp Energy was almost terrible, and at the same time, I was not really able to grasp the control of the Warp Energy. I already tried it several times, but every time when I attempted it, I felt something was blocking me from the efficient control and usage of the Warp Energy.

I already had some understanding of Warp Energy from the times of the Solar Federation and from the spies that I sent into the Immaterius Universe; a few of them were lucky enough to return; not many were able to, but those who were returned with rather precious information.

And with that and from my own research, I managed to find out, that the Warp itself was somehow sentient or at least something in those lines. If not outright sentient, then the Chaos Gods that existed within the Warp were able to control the Immaterium far better than I had initially expected.

The Chaos Gods were immensely powerful entities, and due to the peculiarities of the Immaterius Universe, they were able to mobilize enormous levels of power; I predicted that their combat prowess was not lower than Tier 13 at the individual rate.

Understanding the power of the Warp and the Immaterium was something that I have been doing for several past years, though I have especially been careful not to catch the attention of any of the Chaos Gods, especially the Four Great Gods of the Warp.

Aside from the Great Four, there existed a bunch of Minor Chaos Gods that were not that powerful like the Great Four, but they were still far more powerful than I was right now, and every single one could squash me like a bug.

Of course, I had a certain trump card, which was part of my true power from the true body hidden within my very own Soul that I had prepared exactly for this occasion. It was the last resort that I prepared before my reincarnation in case something happened to my reincarnation within the Immaterius Universe.

The sheer power that I put into this last failsafe should be enough to obliterate Peak Primarch several times over and kill most of the Tier 13 existences. Unfortunately, I could use this power only a few times, approximately two or three, depending on the output of the energy.

But if it wasn't absolutely inevitable, I wanted to avoid using the failsaves that I installed within my Soul, which were for the transmigration into the Immaterius Universe. Only when I was in the deepest shit would I be able to use these fail-saves to save my hide.

Till now, I was rather focusing on cultivating the different sources of power, preferably my very own physique, which was the best thing to do... Strengthening my physique through the energies of the Warp was a unique experience.

Warp Energy in its purest form was extremely volatile and destructive, a dangerous thing to do anything, and using it on my flesh to temper my physique seemed like utter foolishness to many, but to me, it was the best way to temper my physique.

It wasn't very different from the things that I have done in the past to temper my body; in fact, it was rather similar. It was rather a crude method but an especially effective one because I managed to strengthen my body to a great degree.

On the other hand, replicating my Magic and other abilities through the Immaterium proved to be a tougher nut to crack. Almost impossible one right now because it seemed that my body didn't have an affinity for the Warp itself.

Basically, I couldn't replicate the so-called Psyker Gene from nothing. I already tried several times, based on the information that I had from the times of the Terran Federation, where the Terran Federation conducted extensive research on the Psykers.

We were able to depict the reason for the Psyker Powers manifesting in the people, and its source was the Psyker Gene that some specimens of the human race were carrying. It was something that the Solar Federation, even at its peak, couldn't really replicate by any means.

For me, the sole method is to attune my physique to the Warp and thus allow me to use the Warp far more easily. Right now, due to the lack of the Psyker Gene and only thanks to the power of my Soul, I could use Warp to a certain degree.

But for more delicate usage of the Warp, I needed to create Psyker Gene in my body, and for that, I needed to collect already existing Psyker Genes and modify them for my personal usage.

Unfortunately, because it seemed that this continent lacked Psykers, I couldn't really create the Psyker Gene that I needed.

Chapter 647 – Leaving the Continent New
The Psyker Gene was something that a person needed to be born with, and it couldn't be replicated artificially. Even though I was doing my best to research the dammed thing, there was zero progress since the time I started, so the only thing that I could do about it right now was to give up.

At least, until I gather some Psyker as experimental subjects for much-needed clinical experiments that were an absolute necessity in this kind of thing.

Psyker...

Psychic powers are sometimes referred to as "sorcery" when they are gained or enhanced through interaction and bargaining with the malevolent entities who exist within the Empyrean.

Psykers were also sometimes called "witches" in the Imperium of Man and among the Aeldari, particularly when such powers are used in a way that they show no regard for the dangers they may spawn for others or are used in pursuit of the agenda of the Chaos Gods. Psychic powers are sometimes referred to by the ignorant in the Imperium as "magic", also spelled "magick".

All Psykers draw their powers from the extradimensional realm of Psychic Energy, the Immaterium or the "Warp" that underlies and penetrates four-dimensional realspace and is the source of all Psychic Energy in the universe.

***

Reaching the outskirts of the continent where he was right now took me approximately one month or so; counting the days in this kind of environment was something rather hard. Often, it was impossible to distinguish between day and night.

Fenran Rex IX. was a cold, frozen world that was most of the time in perpetual darkness, and every time of the day, it seemed like a night. When I arrived at the shores of the continent, standing in front of the enormous cliffs, I noticed that a large part of the ice that was separating the landmasses was frozen.

'The exact size of the Fenran Rex IX. is huge, probably enough to be considered as a Super Planet, so the distance between two continents would be equally tremendous and challenging. Especially when I would be traveling on foot.'

Because I had some records of the Fenran Rex IX. from my time in the Terran Federation, though the records about the planet were pretty obscure, I knew that it was approximately forty times bigger than Terra and was classified as a Super Planet by the Terran Federation.

Planets like these were most often dangerous because flora and fauna adapted to such environments, and thus, the Solar Federation often refrained from entering such planets and sending expeditions there unless there was something on the planet that they desperately needed.

Some creatures living within the planets, like Fenran Rex IX. could destroy Titans and other of the most advanced machines of the war of the Terran Federation. There were many cases where the Terran Federation even attempted to colonize some of such worlds, but most often, it ended in total disaster.

I still remember one occasion when entire Spartan Legions of genetically engineered soldiers were wiped out by hostile fauna that lived in the Super Planet, when the high-ups of the Military Command decided to take the entire planet due to rich deposits of Thorium and several other important metals.

There was no point in thinking about that... right now, the most important thing was to find civilization, gather subjects with the potential Psyker Gene, and regain my strength as fast as possible and as much as possible.

From the reports that I had about the current state of the Milky Way Galaxy, I would really need it.

***

Several weeks later, the outskirts of the continent.

After several weeks, I finally managed to get to the outskirts of the continent where I was located, thankfully. It was becoming a hassle to move just through the frozen wasteland, so finally, there was some change in the enviroment.

If we could even call it that way, because here, on the Fenran Rex IX., the freezing temperatures went to absolute extremes, and even large parts of the oceans and seas were frozen to vast chunks of ice that broke only when some of the super lifeforms living in the seas wanted to get some breath of fresh air.

I had already built myself a makeshift boat, primitive, yes, but it would serve its purpose in transporting me from point A to point B. Hopefully, I will have luck on my side and avoid some of the most troublesome creatures.

Those living in the sea.

Generally, it seemed that the beings living in the sea were always bigger than those living in the land or on the ground.

Something that I was already noticing within the Kadath Universe's various planes and realms, be it Magical Beasts, Monsters, or anything else, something that lived in the depths of the ocean was always bigger, stronger, and more dangerous.

"It looks rather calm..."

Observing the calm ocean that was separating these two continents, I sighed while controlling the makeshift ship to depart from one continent to another. At the same time, I was deeply hoping that I wouldn't attract the attention of some sea monster.

Though I was confident in fighting them, right now, my capabilities were rather limited, and I didn't want to waste my trump cards on something insignificant, such as big fish living in the ocean that decided to make me their dinner.

Fortunately, after several days I have spent on the oceans, aside from the minor turbulence in the form of rather bad weather, everything went smoothly. Right now, after spending more than twenty days on the open ocean, I am probably beyond half of the journey to another continent.

The entire time I spent in meditation, I was trying to draw the chaotic energies of the Warp and refine my physique to a higher degree because it was the best that I could do right now to increase my strength in a short time.

The more I repeated this, the more familiar I became with using the energies of the Immaterium to temper my physique. Unfortunately, the Terran Federation didn't really have an advanced program when it came to cultivating the Psykers.

There were too few of them, and many of them basically embarked on the path of self-training; the training methods of the Terran Federation were crude.

Chapter 648 – Arrival New
Only the Aeldari had the powers Immaterium for a very long time; their civilization was old, probably even as more than sixty million years. The information that the Terran Federation gathered about the ancient Aeldari Empire was incomplete, and in the first place, there were not many of them.

Unfortunately for the Terran Federation, the relationship between the Terran Federation and the Aeldari Empire was bad as fuck. Or it would be more suitable to say, the Aeldari looked down on the humankey, calling them "Mon-keigh".

The Mon-keigh were an ancient xenos race that was exterminated by the Aeldari millennia before their first contact with Mankind. The Mon-keigh were described in Aeldari stories and legends as a species of sub-intelligent, cannibalistic beasts that lived in the twilight realm of Koldo.

These misshapen monstrosities invaded the Aeldari lands and subjugated them for many cycles, until they were eventually cleansed from the galaxy by the hero Elronhir.

Since then, Scholars surmise that the word mon-keigh, also spelled mon'keigh, of the Aeldari Lexicon refers to any non-Aeldari species they deem inferior and in need of extermination. In general, it is now a pejorative term used to describe the Humanity.

There was no way that the proud and arrogant Aeldari would share their methods of cultivation of the Warp Energies from the Immaterium. The methods of cultivating the Warp Energies were rare and were only in the hands of the Aeldari, so that left the Terran Federation to only themselves.

They could only do it the most old-fashioned way in trial and error, which resulted in vastly inferior quality Psykers of the Terran Federation because they were self-trained or trained with the methods of the Terran Federation that was built on the trial and error method.

This resulted in not only poor quality of Psykers, but also the Psykers were most often uncontrollable.

Controlling the Warp Energies was an arduous task for anyone, and without a proper method and some fail-safes, the Psykers often faced an uncontrollable burst of the Warp Energy, possession by the Daemons of the Warp, or anything else that could kill them and everything around them.

Fortunately for me, I could control the Warp Energies without many problems with just a little effort. Perhaps I should catch some Aeldari and extract methods of training in Warp Energy control and cultivation of Warp Energies, so I could create something that is best suited for me.

***

Traversing through the frozen oceans of the Fenran Rex IX. was smooth, to my shock and surprise, but nothing serious really happened, and soon enough, approximately five weeks later, I managed to land on another continent.

The one that had civilization on it.

Aside from that, at a later date, I would need to search for some Voidship to leave this planet; my strength was insufficient to tear holes in space for the time being, and at the same time, it would probably remain in this way for a long time.

Ironically, though, if I had my previous strength or at least a small fraction, I could have teleported through the entire Milky Way Galaxy how I wished. I still had coordinates of all important planets of not only the Terran Federation but also the entire Milky Way Galaxy.

So, for the time being, I would need to be content with just the Voidship...

The moment when I arrived at this new continent, it wasn't hard to find traces of human activity in this frozen hellhole; even though it was better compared to the previous one, it was still a wonder how a bunch of ordinary humans could survive here.

For me, or any biologically more powerful and advanced species, it was easy, but for the humans that were frail and weak, especially without advanced technology, it was really something.

Still, Humanity was a very adaptable species; even across all the species that I came across, their adaptability was top-notch, probably only inferior to the Orks of the Immaterius Universe, but the Orks were different chapters altogether.

Especially in the aspect that the Orks were artificially created species and not the natural ones that achieved their state through evolution.

'The traces are fresh; somebody probably passed through here not even ten hours ago...'

It would take some time to reach the place where the traces were leading, probably the humans that lived in this area, were using these shores for fishing.

***

Unknown Continent

The Northern Regions of the Continent were the harshest of the entire continent. They were filled with countless mutated Danger Beasts that roamed the territories of the Northern Regions and were basically the undisputed rulers of the entire place.

But that didn't mean that the humans who lived in the Northern Regions were at the bottom of the food chain. In fact, many of them grouped together and created Clans and Tribes.

The Partas Clan was a clan of hunters who specialized in killing Danger Beasts. The Clan was in a constant struggle for survival, threatened by both the harsh weather conditions and the Danger Beasts they hunted.

Due to that, the Clan adopted the ideology of Social Darwinism, which often led the Clan to produce the strongest Hunters in the not only the Northern Regions, but also the entire continent.

This also allowed them to easily resist the coalition of the Northern Tribes that were coveting the territories of the Partas Clan, which ruled the area that were best. Their territories had a high amount of the Danger Beasts, providing them with basically endless food supplies.

Yet the Partas Clan resisted, not only resisted, but also pushed back the coalition of the Northern Tribes and often took territories from them instead.

"Patriarch, we found signs of the human activity around the shores, approximately three hours ago. They belong to one person, so either it is a spy from the Northern Tribes or some wanderer."

The Patriarch of the Partas Clan was an elderly-looking, blue-haired man who was probably in his sixties, but he still had vigor and vitality in him, no less than any youth. Additionally to that, he had an invisible, powerful aura radiating around him, which made everyone tense just by looking at him.

Chapter 649 – Meeting the Partas Clan New
It didn't take long for the Partas Clan to dispatch a team to search for the intruder because, according to the scout, the person who intruded into the territory of the Partas Clan was apparently very strong.

It was easy to tell that, judging by the several Danger Beasts that were killed along the way, some of them were rather powerful, something that would require the most powerful hunters of the Partas Clan to bring down.

People of the Fenran Rex IX. adjusted to the hostile environment in their own way. They were hunting down powerful Danger Beasts of the Fenran Rex IX., and by eating their flesh, they gained more powerful physiques and even prolonged lifespans in some cases.

Through generations and generations that were feeding on the corpses of the Danger Beasts, the humans of Fenran Rex IX. breeder several very powerful Hunter Bloodlines that banded together, creating various Families, Clans, Tribes, and other organizations, becoming the true power in this world.

The Hunters were the pinnacle of the world, especially the most powerful ones that could defeat the Super Danger Beasts that could raze down entire mountains in certain cases.

This team of Hunters was personally led by the Patriarch of the Partas Clan, Ezran Partas.

Ezran Partas was considered one of the most powerful Hunters in the entire world; there were only a few such powerful Hunters on the entire planet, Fenran Rex IX.

***

MC POV

After I arrived on this continent, after a while, I was immediately attacked by several powerful Danger Beasts; some of them were even comparable to the peak Tier 8 Devil, which was rather surprising news.

Some of them had really powerful innate abilities, so it was rather surprising to see the humans of the Fenran Rex IX. to be able to hunt all of these creatures. For me, killing them wasn't hard; just my physique alone was enough to overcome their power.

Aside from that, for the several millenias that I was alive, I was able to master countless forms of combat and perfect them to the state, where I was one of the best combatants in the entire Kadath Universe.

Dealing with these kinds of Danger Beasts even under these conditions wasn't much of a problem for me. Even though I lacked suitable weapons to deal with them, unfortunately nothing could go with me to the Immaterius Universe, especially no any kinds of weapons.

As unfortunate as it was.

I already gathered some fine materials, so I should be able to refine a proper weapon for myself, one from the rare materials and remains of the Super Danger Beasts that I slayed.

I wasn't a weapon refiner or blacksmith by any means, so everything that I made would be vastly inferior to something that a proficient master could make, but it was also better than nothing.

That I had to admit.

Theoretically speaking, if I could use a bit of my true power to refine the weapon, it should be an artifact of superior quality and power, probably powerful enough to last me until I recover my power to the peak of Tier 11.

Perhaps even beyond that, if it could become a Growth-Type weapon or something, but with the materials that I had on hand, such a thing would be impossible. Still, that was for the future, but I already made a mental note to search for rare materials and other things so I could make some proper equipment.

'Hmm... incoming humans? And from their speed, they should be at the peak of Tier 8, at least one of them has extremely powerful Aura.... and what is that... subconscious manipulation of the Warp Energy from the Immaterium?'

These seemed to be the Hunters of the Fenran Rex IX., I extracted some memories about them from the minds of the Super Danger Beasts that I slayed and the information about them was rather detailed, which was rather surprising.

But the Super Danger Beasts developed strong sentience and their intelligence was not inferior to any human at all, which made them rather dangerous enemies on the field.

The Hunters were something akin to evolved humans, a very dangerous one, especially those who devoured the flesh and heart of the Super Danger Beasts, because there was a strong chance that such humans could obtain the abilities of the Super Danger Beast itself.

Some Super Danger Beasts were born with rather peculiar and powerful abilities, as I have seen. This wasn't really surprising, considering the connection with the Immaterium, the connection that this planet had with the Warp itself.

Some planets had a weird connection with the Warp itself, and when I said weird, it was in a sense that it wasn't corruptive, but rather pure energies of the Immaterium were affecting the planet itself.

Such a thing was rare, and even when the Terran Federation was at its peak, it only encountered a few of such worlds, and most of them were, in the end, lost to the ancient Aeldari Empire, which took the planets from the Terran Federation mostly by brute force and their mastery over the Warp.

In such a world, it was basically safe to practice Psyker powers, and the chances of being attacked by Daemons were very low, in fact. That was the reason why such places had very high value, especially for the Aeldari, who were all Psykers and especially powerful ones.

And as I was pondering over the matter, the Hunters of the Partas Clan already arrived at my position and surrounded me, with no single one opening being left out.

At the same time, they already prepared their weapons and were ready to fight at any moment. Their capabilities were indeed commendable because it was clear that they were indeed expert combatants, with skills high enough to be considered experts even in the Chthonian Empire of Baator.

'The leader is the strongest out of them; based on his strength, he should also probably be the Patriarch of the entire Clan or Tribe.'

Still... the light blue hair and the cross-like symbol were familiar to me for some reason, thougI I don't know where I already seen it.

Chapter 650 – Partas Clan New
We observed each other with the Patriarch of the Hunter Tribe or Clan for a while. I could see that the man was staring at me like I was some dangerous Danger Beast that he wanted to hunt, but at the same time, I could see the apprehension in his eyes.

Most probably, he realized that I was rather dangerous, and now he was judging if I was a threat or not; it would be most preferable if he judged that I wasn't because I didn't really want to fight against them.

All of them were practically peaks of Tier 8, with the Patriarch, their leader was something akin to the Limit of Tier 8 like it was in the Higher Dimensional World of the Baator and was far more powerful than the average peak Tier 8 individual.

Aside from that, I could feel something hidden in his body, something very powerful and troublesome. And mainly due to this, I didn't really want to fight with him because it would greatly consume my Energy Reserves that I have painstakingly created.

Not to mention, they most probably brought with them something and equipment that could help them restrain Tier 9.

I didn't really wish to waste my precious energy on the pointless fights until I made this vessel Psyker and obtained a stable connection to the Immaterium that would freely allow me to use the energies of the Warp I intended to lay low.

If I had a stable connection to the Immaterium, then one move from me would be more than enough to wipe all of these people out. Unfortunately, now I could do the only thing in this situation, something I didn't do in many, many millenias...

Negotiation.

"Greetings, foreigner."

Surprisingly, it was the leader of the Hunters who spoke the first word to me... It was highly probable that neither the Hunters wished to fight me, all things considered, especially If I wasn't hostile to them from the start.

It would be just a waste of time and manpower, both things that were practically invaluable within the conditions of the Fenran Rex IX. this planet was too harsh, and conditions were too terrible for the people picking up fighting with everyone around.

In fact, it was best to either kill someone instantly without suffering any losses or to avoid fighting altogether to preserve their strength. I already had suspicions that I was, in a certain way, under the watch of the Four Great Chaos Gods and the Emperor of Mankind.

And perhaps the other beings of a similar level that had the same presence within the Warp as the Emperor or the Four Great Chaos Gods. There were tales that nothing that happened within the Realms of the Immaterium escaped the sight of these entities.

They were one with the Empyrean Realm and were able to monitor everything that was taking place there, including the fact that I was able to siphon energies from the Immaterium for my own devices.

"Greetings... just for the note, I am just passing by your territory, and I will be soon gone."

I returned the greeting to the leading Hunter, though neither of us lowered our guard, and the people that the man brought with him were ready to attack just as they were before.

Even though we established some preliminary conversation, it meant nothing, and the situation could still evolve into a fight.

"You seem to be pretty strong for just some random foreigner..."

The blue-haired man squinted his eyes when he observed me. Clearly, he was still suspicious of me; it seemed that something must be going on in this region for them to be this tense.

Perhaps their Tribe or Clan was right now embroiled in a war against the other factions living in the same area or region?

Such an answer was highly possible; in harsh conditions like this, every square meter of soil was worth more than the purest gold, and it was only respectable that the various factions living in this place would be waging war for the resources.

It was like this in every place of existence, just in places like this, where resources and even living spaces were not only scarce, they were considered luxurious of the highest grade, the battles and fights for the resources and living space were at the same time war for the very own survival of people living here.

"Perhaps."

I smiled back, knowing that the man was going to fish for more information.

"Your own strength is also impressive, and that connection with the Immaterium of yours... ts, ts, ts... I wonder how the Daemons of Warp haven't yet destroyed your entire faction."

I had some rudimentary understanding of the Immaterium and the modus operandi of the Four Great Chaos Gods. They would never allow someone to use the energies of the Warp freely; they were pretty arrogant about the Immaterium and considered the entire Realm of the Empyrean as their personal property.

Thus, every single time someone attempted to use the energies of the Warp, it would come to the attention of the Four Great Chaos Gods. And it would always end very badly for the person who caught the attention of one of the Four Great Chaos Gods.

In fact, catching the attention of any Chaos God was worse than being dead because one could be certain that he would receive the most gruesome death possible or even a fate worse than death itself.

'Incorporated Energies of the Warp into their very own bloodlines, but there is no corruption... Fascinating, not even their Souls are tainted a bit by the Ruinous Powers or anything like that, and there are no physical deformities or any other possible signs of the Chaos corrupting them.'

Just a brief observation from close quarters was all I needed to know about their peculiar situation: they were somehow able to incorporate the Energies of the Immaterium into their existence without being corrupted by it.

This was a feat that was achieved by only a few.

Even in the Terran Federation, I could only count a few people who were able to achieve something like this.

Chapter 651 – Comming to the Agreement New
The people in front of me were really particular and unique cases.

"Power and unbreakable will... for us, the Daemons of the Warp are just different kinds of prey, albeit more difficult and dangerous than ordinary ones, but nevertheless, they are just prey."

I could see the man who spoke meant for all of its meaning.

"I am Ezran Partas, Patriarch of the Partas Clan, which rules this area of the Northern Regions. It seems that you are not really from the Northern Tribes or the Northern Regions as a whole."

When the man introduced himself, I knew that I was correct. He was the leader of one of the Tribes that ruled this area. The fact that the Partas Clan ruled such vast lands in such a hostile environment was a credit to their strength and power.

"Jeron Egan Butler."

The name that I hadn't used or heard for several thousand years brought me an unprecedented amount of nostalgia, regret, and perhaps even happiness. Who knows? I wasn't really used to the feelings of this kind; it was pretty weird.

Jeron Egan Butler was the name that I had when I was still human, living in the 25th millennium of the Golden Age of Humanity, the Golden Age of Technology, and the times when the Terran Federation of Terra spread its wings through the Milky Way Galaxy.

There were times when the other races of the Milky Way Galaxy covered before humanity and its military might, and even the proud and ancient Aeldari Empire was looking cautiously at the Solar Federation.

Jeron Egan Butler was the identity of one of the most prominent scientists in the Solar Federation who developed weapons of mass destruction to be used in a potential and purely hypothetical war against the Aeldari Empire.

However, a lot of the weapons and inventions that I created changed the methods of warfare of the Solar Federation. Many of them exterminated the Orkish forces in an instant, or were the reason for the genocide of countless species that the Terran Federation wanted to get rid of.

It felt weird, in fact, to use this name after approximately... what it was?

Thirteen thousand years or fourteen thousand years already?

Still...

It was bringing a certain feeling of satisfaction to me... at least.

"Not very Fenrisian name... sounds like one of the foreigners from the stars."

While the Patriarch of the Partas Tribe had a cautious tone of voice when he spoke, I could sense that he was very about me, probably even more when I said my name. Indeed, according to what I gathered, it was in nature closer to the Imperium of Man, than the Fenrisian culture and traditions.

It was evident that these people didn't really like the foreigners or practically anyone who wasn't one of them. Coupled with their warlike tendencies and warrior culture, it would be rather hard to gain their trust or anything.

But if there was one thing that I learned about cultures like this, it was that they all respected the strong and powerful, regardless of their origin. People like Ezran Partas respected power above everything else and were strict believers in the philosophy of survival of the fittest.

Which wasn't that different from the ideology that we had in the Chthonian Empire of the Baator or the Douluo Principal World. Practically everyone within the Kadath Universe who was part of the higher leadership of my little universe followed very similar principles and ideas.

One could say that our culture was pretty much similar.

"We could consider it that way... but the more important question would be, what now?"

I knew that the situation wouldn't really devolve into a fight, because if they wanted to attack me, they would have ambushed me right from the start. As the proper top hunters, they would never allow themselves to waste this opportunity.

"Someone of your strength would be a great addition to the forces of our Tribe, especially now when we are going to war against the Northern Tribes. So, I have a deal for you, Sir Butler. I would like to invite you to be a guest of our Tribe, in exchange for some of your requests."

Hearing that, I was seriously considering his request because it was a tempting one. In this world, I needed resources and information, something that I didn't really have access to right now; Partas Tribe would certainly be a good starting point.

They were fairly powerful enough, and they had a certain sense of honor that was very useful in the situation because he wouldn't really need to fear that they would scheme or betray him that fast.

And judging based on the fact that they were preparing for war against their rivals, probably wanting to unify the entire region under their leadership and rule, it was clear they would be pretty helpful.

I could obtain more resources and their help, by helping them in the war against the Northern Tribes.

"I just want information, technology, and knowledge of the Psykers. We could even help each other with this."

Hearing that, I agreed, Ezran Partas nodded because he was satisfied that he managed to obtain a powerful helper for the Partas Tribe against their rivals, the Northern Tribes. He knew that with a powerful addition like me, he, the Partas Tribe, would be able to win the war much more easily.

Though I seriously doubted that the Partas Tribe needed my help in the first place, they were fairly powerful from what I saw. It was clearly evident that this Tribe of human hunters on the Fenran Rex IX. was unique by some standart.

"Then we can depart back to the Icecrown Citadel."

With that being said, the entire entourage of the Partas Tribe lowered their weapons, and soon enough, we started moving toward the Icecrown Citadel.

The Icecrown Citadel was the capital city of the Partas Tribe. It was one of the largest cities on this side of the continent, according to what I learned from the Patriarch of the Partas Tribe.

Chapter 652 – Situation of the Fenran Rex IX. New
The journey to the Icecrown Citadel was long.

According to the orders of the Patriarch, Ezran Partas took it slow; they were not in a hurry because the season was bad, and there were more Danger Beasts out there than during the usual time.

This was a unique opportunity to observe the working of the hunters of the Partas Tribe as they were carrying out the reconnaissance of the terrain, or how they dealt with the occasional Danger Beasts that were on the way.

"At this time of the year, there are many Danger Beasts active. Many of them are emerging from their lairs because winter is coming, so they are going to have their fill of food before many would go into deep slumber during the winter."

During the time we were traveling, I was having a discussion with the Patriarch of the Partas Tribe. The man was more amiable than he seemed, at least after a few minutes, though, that should be mostly because of my strength.

It was interesting to learn about the flora and fauna of the Fenran Rex IX. and the methods that the locals were using to not only survive but to thrive in this kind of hostile environment to everything moved.

"Is this common?"

Something similar was also in the Higher Dimensional World of the Baator, usually during the Long Night.

The Long Night took place every few decades; sometimes, it was once per century or even more than a century.

Or when the Magical Beasts and Monster population hit the limits in certain areas, which would usually result in them creating Magical Beasts Hordes that would attack cities, settlements, and practically everything in their path.

"Yes, during the centuries and centuries, only the strongest could survive on the planet. Usually, the weaker settlements and factions are wiped out every time, either before the Long Night or during the Long Night. Not many could survive the endless hordes of the Danger Beasts that are swarming almost everywhere."

The environment of the Fenran Rex IX. wasn't really nice, and the people who wanted to survive needed to adapt to the environment. Or else they would be devoured by them once for all...

"How many factions are on this continent are considered to be on your level?"

I was curious about how many factions or something like that existed in the hellhole. There shouldn't be many of them, the population of the planet Fenran Rex IX. was rather low, at least from what I have seen.

However, that could be just my own assumption, and it was said that in the southern parts of this continent, it was much higher than in the North. The environment of the southern regions was much better, and the winters were not as drastic as those of the northern areas of the continent.

"Not many... aside from the Partas Tribe, the Northern Hemisphere of the continent has only another faction that is on a similar level like the Partas Tribe, the Northern Tribes. They are coalitions of several tens of Clans and Tribes that were unified by one of the largest Tribes in the entire Northern Hemisphere. Though in terms of military might, they couldn't compare to even a fraction of the might of the Partas Tribe."

This wasn't that surprising to hear, because every single hunter of the Partas Tribe was very powerful; it was clear that the Partas Tribe was going for quality over quantity. Even though they were numerically outnumbered by the Northern Tribes, they were still stronger than anyone else.

"And the situation in the south?"

The political situation in the Northern Hemisphere of the continent was more than clear, but only one in the Southern part of the continent remained unclear.

"The South is warmer than the North, much warmer, and the population is approximately ten to fifteen times larger. There are even some nations in the South, a few Kingdoms, and there were rumors that even two Empires were established approximately one hundred years ago, but nothing is confirmed for sure. Not many people from the South are able to cross through the Central Ridge Mountain Range and survive the harsh winters of the North."

I learned much from talking with the Patriarch Partas; the Southern situation was much more complicated and stressful. There were many more humans living in the South due to a much better environment, and even the Danger Beasts were less powerful.

Though they lacked in powers, they were made up for by their sheer numbers because, in the South, species that had strong reproductive abilities lived. There were not many Super Danger Beasts living in the South, and thus, the people in the South had more time to wage war against each other.

"The ambition of the Partas Tribe is to unite the Northern Hemisphere of the continent under our rule. The sole obstacle that we have are the Northern Tribes; even though they are not a match for the might of the Partas Tribe, we need to cull down their numbers."

The Northern Tribes are something akin to a confederation of Tribes, Clans, and some other factions. They were unified approximately seventy years ago by one of the largest Tribes, the Numa Tribe, and currently, it is led by Prince Numa Seika.

The members of the Northern Tribes had relatively strong autonomy, depending on the personal strengths and numbers of each of the Tribes. This kind of internal divide made the Northern Tribes weak because there was no unified central command or anything like that.

"And for what end? Does the Partas Tribe have another goal aside from dominating the entire region of the North?"

I was wondering if there was more to it or not...

"Resources, ores, metals, meat, Danger Beasts, and access to better technologies. There were records that there were large mining operations in the Central Ridge Mountain Range and the surrounding areas in the Golden Age, so there is a high possibility that there are still remains of the olden age. We can obtain that to boost our strength and survivability. The Northern Tribes will be either assimilated by our ways or exterminated."

I quickly searched through my memories stored in the Architect about this, and indeed, it was true: within the Central Ridge Mountain Range of the Feris Continent, as it was called, there were enormous mining stations.

And...

They should even contain a whole bunch of STCs.

Chapter 653 – Icecrown Fortress City New
"And here we are... the Icecrown Citadel or the Icecrown Fortress City. In fact, this place was built in the Golden Age of Technology by the human explorers that arrived at the Fenran Rex IX. and during the Old Night, it was mostly maintained by the rogue Artificial Intelligences that were possessed by the Daemons."

The Old Night, Rebellion of the Men of Iron...

"They managed to maintain this place for several millennia before they were finally defeated by the humans of the Feris Continent and established here the first Kingdom more than one thousand years ago."

When we arrived at the gates of the Icecrown Fortress City, or the Icecrown Citadel, I couldn't help but marvel at its magnificence. The Icecrown Citadel was clearly made by someone from the Golden Age of Technology.

"The Icecrown Citadel was built as one of the first things when the first colonists arrived at the Fenran Rex IX. thus, it had always boasted of the most formidable defenses, and it was also built in the most defensible position in the entire Feris Continent. Even though most of the weapons are replaced due to the passage of time, even right now, we can still defend this place against armies several times bigger than our own."

The Icecrown Citadel was built in the mountain range, more precisely, in a valley, carved into the mountains themselves, creating an enormous mountain city. I could see some really advanced pieces of technology that people have maintained to this day.

"Some of these weapons are old for several millennia; how did you manage to maintain them till this day?"

It was rather surprising because I could see that they were more than ten millennia old, but they were still in very good condition. They were made by the high-end facilities of the Solar Terran Federation and were made from experimental materials that were speculated to withstand the passage of time for many, many millennia.

Some of these weapons were actually of my very own design, especially the main Particle Proto Canons that were installed across the entire mountain range, and one shot from them could bring down an entire starship.

Now, I could see the reason why the Partas Clan could maintain their position of power and prestige across the entire Northern Areas of the Fenris Continent without trouble. With the weapons and defenses they had here, there were only a few possibilities for the enemies to take over this place.

Probably the most suitable one with a high success rate would be to surround the several-kilometer area of the Icecrown Citadel and starve them down. Direct siege and attack on the Icecrown Citadel would be suicide without the same level of firepower or, most probably, far higher firepower than the Partas Clan owned.

"Our ancestors managed to recover several STCs that contained knowledge of these weapons, how to maintain them, and how to construct them. Across many generations of the Partas Tribe, we managed to create a rather stable educational system among our people so that we can construct and recreate many technologies from the mythical Golden Age of Technology."

It was rather fascinating, but it wasn't something unexpected.

Across countless human colonies of the Solar Terran Federation, there were countless STCs, and each colony had at least one complete STC database. In most cases, there were several complete STC databases present, which allowed the survivors of the fall to recover them and obtain at least some technology.

"So this is the reason why you became the collective target for the Northern Tribes? Probably spouting some nonsense about hoarding all technology and advancements for yourself... in the end, in front of power, nothing else matters..."

It wasn't that hard to understand; it was most probable that the Partas Tribe was the sole faction within the entire Northern Area of the Feris Continent that had access to the advanced technology within the STCs.

The Partas Tribe was essentially hoarding the technologies for themselves, using them to enhance their strength to a really high degree, especially compared to the other factions within the Northern Area of the Feris Continent.

And he had to admit that they did it smartly because they kept it low and slow. They were not even aiming to conquer the new territories or anything, but they were just gathering their strength for centuries.

Only after they gathered enough power did they decide to act and unify the entire Northern Area of the Feris Continent, up to the Central Ridge Mountain Range of the Feris Continent.

Truly befitting the Tribe of Hunters.

"Yes, but they are not really a threat. Even though they have various degrees of technological levels, they lack the firepower and also, in the terms, powerhouses to compete against the Partas Tribe. Preferably, we want them to attack the Icecrown Citadel. We have been feeding them false information for decades, killing everyone who still remembered some important information about the Icecrown Citadel and destroying most of the written records of the Icecrown Citadel and technological levels of the Partas Tribe... in short... we have done everything in our power to prepare the perfect trap possible."

As I listened to the explanations of the Ezran Partas, I knew they did everything in their power to force the Northern Tribes to attack the Icecrown Citadel at all costs. It was pretty smart of them to do this; they were using their advantages to their very own limits.

"And if they ever attack the Icecrown Citadel, they will face doom. Though, how did you manage all of that? Even the blind could see the defenses of the Icecrown Citadel from miles away, so hiding it away would be rather an arduous thing to do."

There was only one possibility for them to achieve something like this.

They must have infiltrated the Northern Tribes, and on a very deep level, on that.

"The Northern Tribes are not as united as they seem. Within the Northern Tribes, many of the original factions, Tribes and Clans still maintain high power within the Northern Tribes, and many think that their leader, Prince, is nothing more than a figurehead to the Elder Council. There were many opportunities to send our people into the Northern Tribes and from there on... everything is rather easy."

Chapter 654 – Similar Scenes and Feelings New
From the talks of Patriarch Ezran Partas about the situation of the Northern Tribe, it was rather logical that they were in this kind of situation.

Because the Northern Tribes were unified by brute force by the Numa Tribe several decades ago, many Clans and Tribes were merged into the entity that is called the Northern Tribes nowadays.

This created room for the Partas Tribe to infiltrate the Northern Tribes at will and even managed to insert many of their people into the Northern Tribes, which would then create a lot of trouble.

The Partas Tribe didn't wish just to conquer the Northern Areas of the Feris Continent; they also wanted to completely destroy the Northern Tribe and annihilate most of their people.

Mostly because there was too much bad blood between the Partas Tribe and the Northern Tribes. Not to mention, the factions that were creating the Northern Tribes had vastly different ideologies from that of the Partas Tribe.

This meant that the complete assimilation of the majority of the Northern Tribes was already a lost cause. So, the sole possible option was just to annihilate all those who could not be assimilated into the greater Partas Tribe, and those who could would become one with them.

"You are back later than I thought, Father."

I saw there a tall, beautiful, young, slender woman with long, light blue hair and blue eyes. She wore a military apparel with long sleeves with buttons on the upper arms, a blue scarf on her neck high-heeled boots, and a peaked hat that had the crest of his clan on the front.

She also has a runic tattoo on her chest, which radiated a mild Warp Energy signature, which was a sign of her ability. Not only the Warp Energy, but it also radiated a certain coldness, so I knew that her abilities were closely related to the concept of ice itself.

"And this is my dear daughter, Esdeath Partas, the Heiress of the Partas Tribe, one of the best Generals in our army, and also one of the strongest people within the entire Partas Tribe."

The connection between them was more than obvious, not only due to their unique hair color, which should also be some genetic trait among the direct lineage of the Partas Tribe.

Everyone in the Partas Tribe shared a common bloodline, though the members of the main clan were far less numerous and were also the strongest out of them all. The genetic traits among the direct lineage of the Partas Tribe were very strong.

"It is my pleasure, Lady Partas."

I greeted her politely, getting back a slight nod of acceptance. I knew this time, she was probably even more battle-hungry than Vali when he was younger, but at the same time, her self-control was something remarkable.

She could control her bloodlust and thirst for the good battle very well, practically hiding it so much that I wouldn't be able to detect it if not for living with several people like that. Vali and Hela were the same case, Sigmar to a certain degree as well, especially with the battle lust.

Though her strength was something...

She was around twenty years old, but her strength was already reaching that of her father. In just a few more years, she could reach the same heights as her father.

Meanwhile, I could sense her gaze on me. It was very similar to how Hela used to look at me when we had just met; there was a lot of intrigue, excitement, eagerness, battle-lust, and weirdly enough... desire?

"You are strong... very strong."

In a flash of a moment, she appeared in front of me, scrutinizing me from tips to toes, as she looked straight into my eyes. I could see literal stars forming in her eyes when she was scanning me because I was sure that she could sense my power.

Most interesting...

This was some sort of ability that was very similar to those of the Danger Beasts, which allowed her to sense the danger and strength of potential enemies or foes. I already noticed that this was rather common among the Hunters of the Partas Tribe, though depending on their power, it varied.

Some of them had rather weak danger senses, while some, like Ezran Partas and his daughter, Esdeath Partas, had very powerful and developed ones.

"Not now, Esdeath. Sir Butler is the guest of the Partas Tribe, and right now, we have some serious matters to discuss. You can have your fight at a later date after we finish the more important matters."

The annoyance in Patriarch Partas's voice was evident; it was clear that he was annoyed by the behavior of his daughter. He knew very well; this was also a bit shameful behavior for the Heiress of the Partas Tribe, so I tried to pretend not to see anything.

"Ts... I will return later for our spar."

The Heiress of the Partas Tribe and one of the Generals of their armies, harumphed, turned around, and left the place.

"I must apologize for my daughter's behavior, but she has a rather personality and could be stubborn."

Ezran Partas sighed with a defeated tone as we then entered through the gates of the Citadel into the valley, which was basically one colossal city carved into the mountains and built in this valley.

Just from the life signs alone, there were tens of thousands of people living in the Icecrown Citadel. Aside from the original structures that were built by the colonists of the Solar Terran Federation, there were many that were built by their descendants during and after the Old Night.

The city was expanded several times, deep into the mountains and underground, creating the enormous complex that is the Icecrown Citadel today.

"You have built something truly splendid... when it was exactly conquered from the rogue Artificial Intelligences?"

I asked while we walked through the busy streets of the Icecrown Citadel; the place was full of people, and most of them looked rather similar, especially in the outfits, because everyone was wearing the combat outfits of the Hunters.

And another common thing among the people was that everyone had hair of the blue color, albeit of many shades, signifying their position within the Partas Tribe and where they belonged on the scales of the Bloodline Lineage.

Chapter 655 – Agreement with the Patriarch of the Partas Tribe New
"Somewhere after the end of the Old Night, the exact date was basically lost, but even after the Partas Tribe took control of this place, my ancestors found several rogue Artificial Intelligences hibernating in the depths of the mountain, sealed in the Vaults."

They should also be the reason the Partas Tribe managed to acquire so many advanced technologies.

If they managed to capture a few rogue Artificial Intelligences, it was highly possible that the Partas Tribe was either keeping them alive and squeezing information from them or they already extracted what they wanted to get from them.

"But now let's get to the more important matters we have on hand."

Patriarch Ezran Partas stated as he looked at me. We walked through the long corridors of the Citadel of the Icecrown Fortress City, which was full of people. There were many guards within this place, all top Hunters of the Partas Tribe, standing ever vigilant over this place.

It didn't take them long before we arrived at his study, which was full of trophies from the hunts. There were several skulls of beasts that I could safely tell belonged to the Super Danger Beasts, the most powerful variants of the Danger Beasts on the Fenran Rex IX.

"I need technology to leave this planet. Does this planet have a completely intact Voidship?"

There were several reasons why I decided to even return to the Immaterius Universe, considering the threat that this Universe represented to me right now. Especially with the Chaos Gods and a slight error on my part, as I underestimated the powers of the Immaterius Universe.

"We don't... as far as I can tell, we found only some wreckage and some destroyed Voidships from the Golden Age and many from the times of the Great Crusade, but that is all. Nothing that could fly and enter the Void, not to mention safely crossing through the Immaterium."

I frowned a bit, but it was already within my expectations. This planet was too cut from the outside and probably since the times of the Great Crusade, there was zero to no contact with the different Planets or traversing the space.

"And technology to construct one?"

If there were no Voidships capable of spaceflight, then I needed technology to construct one; unfortunately for me, my power wasn't enough to teleport to the planets where I wanted to go, so I needed to use this old-fashioned method.

I needed to get into the Webway so I could search for the Black Library of the ancient Aeldari Empire and then go to the Necron Tomb World, to find the main database of their technologies.

They were superior to even the current technology of the Chthonian Empire when it came to many technological areas.

"Actually, yes, there are records of small shipyards somewhere in the southern part of the Feris Continent, but it is nothing concrete. Many have searched for it in the south, but apparently, nobody has found it."

Unfortunately, even though I had access to the records from the Golden Age of Technology, there was no shipyard built during the Golden Age of Technology on the Fenran Rex IX., even though this planet was considered of high importance to the Terran Federation at the time.

Terran Federation only built a few ports here, though. Almost none of them survived the passage of time, and all were destroyed in the process. So, if I wanted to construct fully functioning Voidships capable of safely traversing through the Immaterium, I needed appropriate technology.

Even though I had all the knowledge that I needed, I lacked the materials and parts; it was nigh impossible to make a Voidship from scratch. Fortunately, if I could get my hands on enough parts of the destroyed Voidships, I could patch them together and create a well-functioning Voidship.

"I am willing to help you against the Northern Tribe and even elevate the technological level of the Partas Tribe as much as possible in exchange for your help in gathering all materials for the construction of the spaceship for me or the shipyard."

As I said in my proposal, the Patriarch of the Ezran Partas pondered over my proposal for some time before he nodded in agreement. I knew that he would agree without any problems, because, in the end, the Partas Tribe would be the ultimate winner of this deal.

They would get help in their unification of the Northern Area of the Feris Continent, but most importantly, they would get more advanced technology from me, which was something invaluable for the Partas Tribe.

This would enhance their power several times, especially in the areas of defense, medicine, mining, and resource gathering.

For the Partas Tribe, what they wanted the most was to achieve the automation of their entire production and resource gathering so their members could focus on war and advance their art of war.

"Then we have the agreement. In three years or so, we have information about the most serious overpopulation of the Danger Beasts in the Southern Area of the Feris Continent; we plan to use this wave to wipe out most of the Southern factions. That way, we can just sweep through what has remained down on the south."

Indeed, this would be the best method to get rid of the Southern factor without much effort. However, it would be highly problematic to deal with such a huge Danger Beast wave at a later date.

"Do you have a plan to deal with the Danger Beast wave? If they overpopulated and wiped out everything down from the Central Ridge Mountain Range of the Feris Continent."

If the Danger Beasts behaved exactly like the Magical Beasts of the Higher Dimensional World of Baator, they would try to cross through the Central Ridge Mountain Range and attack the Northern Area of the Feris Continent for sure.

If they are being led by Super Danger Beasts that have very high intellect and intelligence, they will represent a serious danger for the Partas Tribe the moment they cross the Central Ridge Mountain Range.

"Yes, and because of that, we need to unite the entire North as soon as possible."

Chapter 656 – Agreement Reached New
"Central Ridge Mountain Range would be the best kind of defense for us. There are not many places where the whole hordes of the Danger Beasts could cross, so we need to defend those positions. If we fortify them enough, we can depend on heavy firepower to decrease the number to a manageable degree, and then, the Hunter could clear the rest."

Indeed, betting everything on the fortifications of the Central Ridge Mountain Range was dangerous, but at the same time, it was also the best possible bet they had. I could see that the Central Ridge Mountain Range was the best defensive point of the entire continent.

If the Partas Tribe wanted to effectively defend against the Danger Beast horde, the best bet would be to fortify the passages across the Central Ridge Mountain Range to the extreme.

Then, using the heavy firepower to curb their numbers, and then the Hunters and other troops of the Partas Tribe would finish the job.

"What about using the captured soldiers of the Northern Tribes as cannon fodder? It would be much safer than to just kill them all..."

I proposed to Patriarch Ezran Partas, who seemed to be pondering over my proposal.

"We already considered this proposal, but it was rather problematic. We don't really have the means of controlling such a large number of people from the Northern Tribes. If we capture them, there is a very high possibility of them rebelling and causing even greater damage to us, and that is something we cannot allow, especially during a critical time like this one."

This was indeed representing a grave problem for the Partas Tribe, and I could see why they were reluctant to use the prisoners and remnants of the Northern Tribes. If they had a feasible method for it, they would have very good cannon fodder against the Danger Beasts.

"That is indeed a grave concern, though I may have several solutions for the problem."

This problem with the captives from the Northern Tribes could be solved through several methods.

The easiest of them, was the one that would use the current technology of the Partas Tribe that was on the sufficient level, and it was to create something akin to Slave Chips that would be subsequently implanted into their brains.

Ensuring their unquestionable loyalty.

Another one would use the same thing, though, with the Warp Energy from the Immaterium. This method was more problematic because it would require me to devise the method in the first place, which, in fact, wasn't that hard, but the hard thing would be to teach it to others.

This method was even better than using the Slave Chip implantation into their brains because it chained their very own soul. If someone from the prisoners was proficient in the usage of the Psychic Powers and was a Psyker, they could destroy the Chips.

"I could either give you the blueprints for the creation of the Slave Chips that could be implanted into the brain of the person, or I can method of chain their soul to create absolute obedience. I would recommend using the second method because it was relatively safer compared to the first one; if someone from the captives is a Psyker or has some, even rudimentary, mastery over the Warp Energy, they would be able to either disable or destroy the Slave Chip in their brain."

Even though using the Slave Chips would be easier and faster, it was also less reliable than that of using the Warp Seal on their soul to chain them. Even though I would need to teach the Sorcerers of the Partas Tribe, we can get more from that than using the Slave Chips.

"Then I would like the second method. Of course, the Partas Tribe would comply with everything, and you would have the resources of the entire Partas Tribe available at your disposal."

Hearing that, I nodded at Patriarch Ezran Partas. With this being said, we finished our discussion, and subsequently, they showed me my quarters for the time being.

Icecrown Fortress City, Northern Area of the Feris Continent, Fenran Rex IX.

Several days have passed since I arrived at the Icecrown Citadel City together with the members of the Partas Tribe. For the time being, I spent most of the time acclimatizing myself to their standards of technology and giving advice to the Partas Tribe's scientists and researchers.

As I predicted, the technological level of the Partas Tribe was rather good; they managed to get their hands on a good number of STCs.

Even though, in this age, seeing a complete STC database was basically impossible, the Partas Tribe was lucky to find a lot of STCs containing the military technology of the Terran Solar Federation.

Aside from the military technology, their level of genetic engineering and medicinal technology was also very good; overall, one could say that they were rather advanced, and their education level was also very stable and advanced for the state that their civilization was.

Due to that, they were often taking my advice and notes with great interest, and within a few hours, they were able to solve many of their technical obstacles and create advances by leaps and bounds.

Just within these few days that I have spent with them, they were able to advance their technology by whole decades, which was already a staggering result. However, due to the fact that they have a very stable system, with a few of their problems being solved, they were able to implement the solutions almost immediately.

The only problem these days was the daughter of the Patriarch of the Partas Tribe, Esdeath Partas, who was essentially constantly annoying me for having a duel with her. And one could say that she was especially annoying and very confident of getting what she wanted.

She was very similar to Hela; her battle lust and thirst for power were something that I already recognized, and I knew that she wouldn't take no for an answer.

Chapter 657 – Research on the Psyker Gene New
"And now the method is finished... it should be working even against relatively more powerful Psykers. Fortunately, we already have something similar back home, though adjusting the things from home to the standards of the Immaterium is rather hard."

It required a lot of work, but after several days, I was able to recreate the methods of the Chthonian Empire to the standards of the Immaterium. Using the Warp to recreate the Soul Seals was hard, but at the same time, I was aware that a powerful Psyker could break through the Seals.

However, the moment I became Psyker, I would be able to adjust the Slave Soul Seals and upgrade them tremendously, so it would be far harder to break them apart.

Another of the bonuses from cooperating with the Partas Tribe was the access to the Psyker Gene that the Partas Tribe gave me. After coming to an agreement with the Patriarch of the Partas Tribe, Ezran Partas allowed me to have the corpses of all Psykers that they had in their possession.

And there were a lot of them, in fact.

After collecting the DNA from the Psyker corpses and conducting some preliminary experiments, I was able to deduce rather quickly where the Psyker Gene was located and what exactly it was.

Right now, I am in the process of extracting the Psyker Gene from approximately fifteen corpses of Psykers. All of them belonged to the hostile factions of the Partas Tribe that the Partas Tribe gave me.

Unfortunately, neither of the Psykers was very powerful, so I needed a lot of them to get a rather high-quality Psyker Gene for my further experiments. With some possibility, I could synthesize high-quality Psyker Gene from the low-quality ones with a bit of luck.

The Psyker Gene within the body of the Psykers proved to be pretty volatile, and any experiments done with the Psyker Gene were very hard. A single mistake could lead to a great explosion or even worse consequences.

Every single Psyker Gene contained traces of the Immaterium and rather potent Warp Energy, something that was rather dangerous to tamper with.

Due to the unstable state of the Warp, there was a high possibility of the Warp Energy erupting from the Psyker Gene, which in turn could attract the attention of the denizens of the Warp.

Something that we were rather poorly prepared for in this place. While the Partas Tribe was rather advanced in the aspect of technology, primarily due to the recovered STCs from the Golden Age of Technology and some of the Imperial Technology of the Imperium of Man, their advancements of the Psyker Arts...

That was an entirely different category.

When it came to the Imperial Technology of the Imperium of Man, the sole thing that I could say about it... It was an aberration of everything that I ever did. Their stupid worship of the technology created by the humans in the Golden Age, to the degree that it became an entire cult, was mad.

And their rejection of everything that was created by the humans as heretical was...

Foolish.

"I need more samples; this is far from enough to create high-quality Psyker Gene... unfortunately, the quality of Psykers on the Fenran Rex IX. is subpar, and there were not many legacies of the Psykers left here from the Golden Age of Terran Federation."

Psyker Gene, who decided who would become Psyker and who would not, could appear in any human from all over humanity. There was no method to find out who may be a carrier of the Psyker Gene.

In the end, this inability of our technology has probably caused our fall at the peak of the Golden Age... a certain part of me was glad that I died before the Terran Federation collapsed into something called the Old Night.

"Could I supplement it with the Psyker Gene of the Danger Beasts... no, probably not; the conflict between origins would be too powerful. Excavation is impossible; the Psyker Gene collapses approximately several days after the death of the bearer, and from there on, one could obtain only remnants."

The sole remaining option would be to ask Patriarch Partas to help him collect the Psyker Gene from the other Psykers. There were not many of them in the first place, and right now, the only place within the entire Northern Area of the Feris Continne that had a relatively high concentration was the Northern Tribes.

However, the Partas Tribe would not wage war against the Northern Tribes prematurely, and they would wait for the Northern Tribes to launch the attack on the Partas Tribe so that they could act from the position of defense.

***

After my discussion with Patriarch Ezran Partas, he told me to visit his daughter because she had information about some information about another place that had a rather high concentration of the Psykers in the Northern Area of the Feris Continent.

Apparently, there was a particular faction within the Northern Area of the Feris Continent that had the highest concentration of the Psykers, or Sorcerers as they were called here, aside from the Northern Tribes.

It seemed that General Esdeath Partas was lobbying for the Partas Tribe to attack and wipe out this faction before they could ally with the Northern Tribes. They also had a rich Psyker legacy, and if it could be used by the Partas Tribe, it would significantly enhance the power of the Partas Tribe.

The Tribe right now greatly lacked the legacy of the Psyker Arts, so this would make up for their weakness.

"So you came to fulfill our agreement for the duel?"

The moment I appeared in front of her doors, she already appeared behind me with a smile on her face as she was radiating strong excitement and battle lust at the thought. I did promise her the fight, and seeing the situation right now, there was no other choice.

Dealing with the battle maniacs like her, the only solution was either to escape or to give in.

Chapter 658 – General Esdeath Partas New
"At a later date, right now, I need something else."

I stated while sitting down across the Heiress of the Partas Tribe and also the general of her armies of the Partas Tribe. I had to admit that Esdeath Partas had a rather peculiar aura around her, though, at the same time, it was rather exciting.

"As long as you will fulfill your promise of a good fight, then it's good..."

She revealed a toothy grin as she smiled at me... it was clear that for her, the thought of the fight against me was a pretty exciting thing.

"I want information about the Frozen Coven. Apparently, the Partas Tribe is interested in conquering them, and coincidentally, I need their corpses."

The corpses of the Sorcerers from the Frozen Coven would be invaluable resources for my research on the Psyker Gene.

There was a whole bunch of them, according to the information about the Frozen Coven that the Partas Tribe had, there were approximately something between fifty and sixty Psykers within the Frozen Coven.

"You are setting your sights on the Frozen Coven? Even the Partas Tribe is being rather cautious about them due to their Psychic powers."

The Heiress of the Partas Tribe looked at me in something that couldn't be described otherwise than pure delight and satisfaction when I mentioned attacking the Frozen Coven.

"For my research on the Psyker Gene, I need to obtain samples of the high-grade Psyker Genes, and the samples from the corpses that were provided by the Partas Tribe are not even a bit enough. All of them are relatively low-grade, and for my devises, they are not enough; only the Sorcerers of the Frozen Coven would be enough for my experiments and research."

It wasn't very hard to convince someone as battle-hungry as Esdeath Partas to give the attack on the Frozen Coven green. She considered the Frozen Coven as worthy foes for the Partas Tribe, so a few tens of minutes after they started their discussion, they had already come to a preliminary agreement.

"If we count on your help in this endeavor, then we can attack the Frozen Coven and kill them all. They say that their leader, the High Priest, is one of the most powerful Sorcerers in the entire Northern Area of the Feris..."

That was relatively new information to me; at the same time, I weighed the options because the power of the Psykers was relative. Within the Terran Federation, I met Psykers who were so powerful that they could destroy entire smaller celestial bodies.

"We would need to deploy much of the heavy firepower and artillery of the Partas Tribe for this endeavor. If they have so many powerful Psykers, there is a very high probability of them also having some really advanced Barriers and Wards around their location."

If they had so many advanced Psykers, then for sure they would have secured their territories to the extreme. Powerful Psykers could lay down advanced Energy Barriers and Wards around their headquarters to protect them from foes.

It would be easiest to break through such a situation using the heavy firepower from the Partas Tribe's artillery.

"We are already formulating the appropriate strategy against the Frozen Coven, but it is rather problematic. From the past clashes against the Frozen Coven, we managed to find their weaknesses, but they still have a strategic location, which makes any possible invasion for us much harder."

For the past decades, the Partas Tribe clashed a lot against the Frozen Coven, mostly because the Partas Tribe wanted to obtain the Psyker Legacy of the Frozen Coven at any price, and for their strategy, they chose to isolate the Frozen Coven as much as possible.

They chose to basically thwart any expansion attempt by the Frozen Coven at any cost, which resulted in relatively frequent clashes between the two factions. From there, the Partas Tribe learned the weaknesses of the Frozen Coven and knew how to apply them appropriately.

At the same time, unfortunately for the Partas Tribe, the headquarters and sole base of the Frozen Coven was located at the best possible location, similar to the Partas Tribe. The Partas Tribe was preparing approximately thirty thousand troops for the invasion of the Frozen Coven and a large amount of technology and weapons.

"If you give me enough time, I could create a method to destroy most of their shields everywhere. If they solely have only the Barriers created through the Psyker Arts, then it would be easy, but if they also have Planetary Shield Generators, the situation would be much harder."

I spoke about this because the Partas Tribe had one of the Planetary Shield Generators installed in the Icecrown Citadel's heart. They were remnants after the Golden Age of Technology from the Terran Federation; they left a few of them inside of their military installations and most crucial facilities.

Obviously, the ones from that age had already perished as they couldn't withstand the passage of time, but the natives of the Fenran Rex IX., managed to get their hands on the STC that contained the blueprints for several models of the Planetary Shield Generators.

"According to my information, there is a high possibility of the Frozen Coven being in possession of a small-scaled Planetary Shield Generator that should be enough to cover their main fortress... but as long as we can break through the Psyker Barriers and Wards, the small Planetary Shield Generator is not really a problem to break through..."

I nodded, hearing her words, because breaking through the small-scaled Planetary Shield Generator, which had an area of influence of approximately a few hundred meters, shouldn't be much of a problem with the capabilities of the Partas Tribe.

"Then we have come to the agreement... inform me when the plans for the invasion of the Frozen Coven are finished, and we can execute the plan."

It didn't take us long to reach an agreement, and after that, we could proceed to another part of the meeting, which was the duel between us.

It was rather inevitable.

Chapter 659 – Duel against General Partas New
"Now that you have finished this, can I get my duel?"

She asked me with rather an impatient tone; it was clear as the sky that she was carving the fight... really rather similar to Hela and Sigmar, though she was far more restrained at the moment, which was somewhat surprising.

"Yes, but when I win, you will leave me alone at least for a few weeks before you start pestering me for another one."

I stated, and seeing her accept my proposal, I mentally sighed in relief. Knowing that it was essentially impossible to tell someone as battle-hungry as Esdeath to stop challenging me for duels entirely, I just gave her a timespan during which she would leave me alone.

"I like your confidence, but the winner is yet to be determined..."

After that, we went to one of the remote areas, far from the Icecrown Citadel Fortress City, mostly for this reason, so we could fight with all our might. I knew that Esdeath was something that was essentially called an AOE fighter; she couldn't showcase her entire power in place, which she couldn't damage.

Like in the Icecrown Citadel.

If we fought there, we could easily damage the city structures or destroy parts of it, which wouldn't be something very welcome. Due to that, the Partas Tribe had another area for training, mainly used by the Tribesmen who had far more destructive abilities that could affect large areas.

It was in a rather secluded place, far from the Icecrown Citadel, where they could, with their full power and without care for their surroundings. The training area where we arrived was essentially frozen tundra or something like that; one thing was sure, and nothing was growing here.

Which wasn't that surprising, as this place was destroyed far more than it should have been.

"Rules of engagement?"

I asked as we stood across from each other; I looked at General Esdeath Partas and asked, preparing for the combat, while she was too redying her saber for our already long-awaited duel.

"Nothing. I want to use my full power, as much as I want for you to use your own full power against me in this duel."

She said to me, as I grimaced a bit because while it seemed that I was confident, the reality was a bit different, because my combat style typically revolved around the direct manipulation of the Laws, usage of Spells, or Magic Rules.

In fact, I was at rather a strong disadvantage, much to my taste; it was clear that she had more trump cards than I had. However, if there was one aspect in which she clearly lacked, it was experience.

Even though close combat was never my forte, I had several millennia to practice it, not to mention that my dear beloved wife Hela would practically force me to train with her every few days.

So, one could say that I was a true master in several weapons, martial arts, and close-quarter combat, but there was something that I lacked compared to beings like Hela. Their sense of combat when they wielded weapons was an instinctive feeling, something like another sense.

It was also something that I lacked and only learned due to my long life and experiences that I had. I was almost fourteen thousand years old or so; this was an advantage that the short-lived beings couldn't really match by themselves.

In the end, even though I had to admit that her talents in close-quarters combat were not enough for her to win against me, I was physically far stronger and had far more experience.

Just by looking at her holding the saber, I was able to tell a lot about her combat style, which wasn't that hard considering the number of battles that I survived. Not to mention, Hela taught me how to read my opponents. Observing them just holding their weapons was rather useful in determining the first strike, which could often be crucial.

The best combat was the one that was won in just the first exchange.

That was something that Hela tried to drill in for years, and I had to admit that it was a really useful principle.

I got one of the Bladestaffs from the Partas Tribe; I had them manufacture it for me, created from the best possible materials, as I needed rather advanced weaponry for my on the Fenran Rex IX.

"As you wish, then."

I said while giving her the opportunity for the first move.

However, to my surprise, Esdeath just remained standing there, looking at me, at my weapon, and then once again at me. It was rather smart of her, and I was right now caught off guard because I didn't really expect that she would do the same thing as me.

So, right now, it has come to a war of attrition.

Or patience.

Both of us were right now doing two things at the same time. One of them studied each other, while the second one forced the other one to act first, which meant that the one who didn't act as the first would obtain an advantage.

The feeling was torturous, but I could wait; I had far more patience, though I was beginning to understand how annoying this was. I could now understand why Hela was so angry every time I did this, and this strategy worked very well.

After just ten minutes, I could see that the Heiress of the Partas Tribe already lost her concentration and patience and rushed towards me with a saber in her right hand, and was cracking with Warp Energy.

'Her combat style is good, sharp, without wasted movements, but at the same time, it is relatively simple and predictable to a great degree. Someone who is also experienced enough could foretell her moves just by simple observation, coupled with many calculation capabilities...'

I analyzed her movements; it wasn't that hard; the combat style she was using was the same that was generally used by the members of the Partas Tribe. Even then, it was a very practical combat style.

However, I could see there were some minor differences in the movement techniques and the way she was attacking, which were more refined than the methods used by the ordinary members of the Partas Tribe.

Chapter 660 – Single Combat New
One swift kick to her stomach was all that was needed to send Esdeath flying, crashing into the nearby rock. However, much to my surprise, she rather quickly stood up, spat up a bit of blood, and rushed at me once again.

Her physique was much stronger than I had initially anticipated, which was rather surprising. I didn't anticipate that she would be this powerful; it was a rather small miscalculation on my part.

It seemed that the direct lineages of the Partas Tribe were far more powerful than the ordinary tribesmen of the Partas Tribe. The General of the Partas Tribe readied her saber, though this time, faint bluish energy appeared all around her weapon.

'Warp Energy, though different from the ordinary Warp Energy, this one is contaminated by the Essence of Ice and is freezing everything around, aside from the weapon itself. The source should be the Blood of the Danger Beasts that she had absorbed...'

The Essence of Ice was very potent within the Warp Energy, and when I say potent, it really was; probably, if the output of the Warp Energy was higher and more powerful, then she could have the potential to freeze Space itself.

Rather dangerous truth to be told.

This time, I was forced to use more effort to defend against the incoming attacks, as they were far more ferocious and powerful than before, but I did not lose even a bit of their precision and well-calculated strikes that she had employed before.

Interestingly enough, she was using her rage to fuel her power, though she was not letting her anger cloud her judgment, which made it rather harder for me to fight against someone like her.

Most of my combat style revolved around provocations and tempting them to make mistakes. The best situation was when they got enraged and made many mistakes, many of which I could then exploit.

Unfortunately, someone like Esdeath Partas wasn't that stupid to fall for such kind of strategy; even though this strategy was rather simplistic, I was often surprised how many people, very powerful entities, would fall for rather simple provocations and temptations.

Sounds of clacking were heard when our weapons clashed against each other, as I blocked several times; all of her attempts to strike me were rather futile. Finding an opening in my stance and style was rather nigh impossible for her right now, so in the end, she started using more and more of her raw power.

As she had access to Warp Energy and that weird Warp-Bloodline-based Ice Manipulation, I was at a disadvantage in the area of combat versatility.

Not only were her offensive powers outstanding, and her combat prowess was rather high, but at the same time, Ice Manipulation and, overall, the Ice-related powers were considered one of the most versatile around.

To top it off, we were found in the frozen wasteland, where everything was frozen and filled with ice and snow. This was practically the best environment that she could have, and it basically increased her powers severalfold.

In a split of moment, several thousand icicles were shot toward me every second; I was forced to dodge and counterattack even more often, because our spar was becoming more and more destructive for the environment.

Esdeath was very good at launching large-scale attacks on me, which was rather understandable with all of those annoying abilities that she had, especially when her Psyker Abilities were supported by the Ice-attributed Super Danger Beast Bloodline.

With my bladestaff, I was able to keep the General of the Partas Tribe far from me, at least from the distance of her saber, which was certainly good, but she then started using her Ice Abilities to close the distance between the two of us.

After several more minutes, there was something that I noticed about the Heiress of the Partas Tribe... she was rather quick learner.

'Just a few exchanges, and she was already able to adapt to my tempo... ts... geniuses.'

She was a martial arts genius and combat genius like Hela. The senses and capabilities of Esdeath Partas were rather similar to those of my wife; there were only a few people like her born every few millennia, and they were exceedingly rare.

Fortunately enough, due to my long sparring with Hela, I learned how to deal with people like her, and it was to end the fight as soon as possible. I didn't really doubt that if the duel was being prolonged more and more, she would be able to adapt even more to my combat style.

Even now, it was becoming rather annoying.

Partly due to my very own arrogance or overconfidence in the matter, as I kept playing with her partially. Even though I wouldn't really like to admit it, like this, it was like a cat playing with a mouse.

'If I let her adapt to my combat style, this would become even more annoying.'

I was becoming more and more like Hela in this regard because I also created a tendency for myself to play with my enemies; it was rather a bad habit. That was something that I needed to remedy in the near future, or else it could end very badly for me...

Deciding that it was time to end the spar, I used my top speed with my bladestaff and appeared in front of the Heiress of the Partas Tribe, striking her with the blunt end of the bladestaff in her stomach.

Not wasting any time, I sent another strike and another, causing her mild disorientation while using the same window of opportunity when she wasn't right in her senses to kick out the weapon out of her hand.

"It seems that our little spar has come to a timely end, with your loss... most obviously."

I stated with the sharp end of my bladestaff pointing at her neck, several millimeters away from her neck, as she laid on her back on the ground. She panted heavily, bloodied a bit, as she looked at me with a grin and excitement.
