As a Kirby fan I am legally obligated to irrationally distrust this newest companion for their surely inevitable betrayal despite that only happening twice throughout the entire series.

Or more chillingly the Ronin are from the Federation who see Samus with her awakened Metroid abilities as something they can't hope to control. Or even just aim at a threat anymore.

Of course they would.

At this point they are probably the dominant superpower. The Space Pirates are wrecked to hell and aside from some individual actors we haven't seen another faction rise up to contest that.

With the Metroid cloning facilities destroyed along with the X-Parasite....

Well Samus' dna and the power suit tech could catapult Fed science forwards decades at the very least. So I could see them playing fuck fuck games.

Edit: I just know that the last leg of the Kirby game will give us some cosmic mindbreaking horror that would put Resident Evil monsters to shame.

They put Kirby in the Truman Show by the looks of it. Also maybe open world? or at the very least large open levels.
