Yeah, I kinda agree that the Amazons wouldn't have been able to conquer the whole world. Unless it's an Elseworlds that bends over backwards to make it so, they don't have the numbers or actual power to do so. Depending on what type of Amazon we are talking here, I don't think they would be able to even conquer the whole Greek area to be honest.

If it's in ancient times, they aren't the only ones with demigod level individuals, nor are the other pantheons sleeping or whatever it is that they're doing in modern times. From there, keep moving the historical period forward and there's anything from new tactics to new technologies that they haven't faced or encountered, not counting the simple facts of numbers, logistics and other civilizations with their own respective bullshits considering this is a DC universe. There's walls that I don't think they would be able to surpass, from China to Atlantis, from individuals in Africa to Northern Europe. Nah, they would probably be able to establish a new Amazonian kingdom but conquer the world? Are we giving them cheat codes?

 

I can't see this ending in any other way than a complete disaster. Has Paul thought this through? How will he stop the Amazons of Earth 10 from attacking him on sight, especially when it looks like he has their long lost princess as a prisoner? Although, if he prayed to Eris, she might help him out; but that seems like a 50/50 chance at best, assuming she's a neutral/benevolent version of herself and not an evil version.

Overgirl mentioned that there is only one Martian on Earth 10 as all of the others died due to a disease that I think is called H'ronmeer's Curse.

 

Actually, Angelika mentioned that the Martians were wiped out by some disease when the people from Earth 10 came there.

A White Martian did survive and is a member of the Reichsmen.

They most likely captured her due her being outnumbered by corrupted metas, and the helmet was used to control her.

Zoat's amazons are canon for Zoat's story, not for the DCAU and related media. Why does this need to be explained to you? In that setting Hippolyta was ordered by Zeus to have the Gates of Tartarus guarded, take a wild guess where those gates are located.

So if anyone has an actual argument for why superpowered Amazons who can recruit up to 51% of the population as the DCAU Amazons apparently can

have the knowledge of magic to grant these superpowers

IIRC the Diana of this earth is still alive but very mentally scarred from when Leatherwing captured her for a time. She escaped thanks to the local superman, but is weakened. She has the body of an old woman, even as she has the powers of Wonder Woman, she isn't as healthy as she was before. Also really hates this Superman, even as she respects him as a warrior.

Also doesn't the USA have a force of low powered green lanterns? I am interested in them meeting with John here, it would be an interesting experience for all.

No, I clearly stated DCAU bends over backwards to make governments as irrelevant and ineffective as possible as to glorify and make hero/vigilante plots "work", thus why I don't really regard anything from the comics medium very highly because the "too many cooks in the Kitchen" problem has made them too convoluted to bother to follow.

The rest is a misunderstanding of his argument about Pax Amazon ruling over the world because a writer made their entire civilization a Mary sue and how they have been stealing from the Greek mythology to cover for their own deficiencies as writers and this has ended up hyping the Greek mythology and their gods.

The Greek mythology isn't even the most overpowered mythology we have around just the most well known one. If the Amazons had decided to go out to conquer the earth then by all rights they should have gotten destroyed by the Indu armies, their pantheon and their demigods.

I pointed out that while there are Doylist reasons for believing in that possibility, but on the Watsonian level DC's Amazons aren't all the same between universes, versions generally having innate powers, magic, super-technology, or a combination of two or even all three of those advantages.

Someone then specifically asked me about the Amazons of the DCAU.

So I answered the question asked of me.

Anyway, It's a pity the alt.Paul known as Peter doesn't remember watching the cartoon, because the amazon conversion process could've have been his version of the passing out the Donner formula. Of course, he'd have needed to find something that works on the guys and gals who don't want to become Amazons for religious reasons or whatever, but I think Zoat could have done interesting things with that.
