Terror Nova

I drop down into the… Ritual space, inside D-Point. Dead youma have been raised as… Zombies?

"Why zombies?"
Red chapter title for Paragon, but not labeled as supplementary? That suggests some interesting things.

Does the name mean anything to you, or other DC experts? "Terror" doesn't necessarily mean the imprisoned Terror Twins or the local Sinestro. "Nova" could be important.
As for today's update… I'm a bit surprised Tuxedo Mask had a counterpart. It'd be interesting if memories and perspective of the present identity are what matter for the upcoming rescue mission. That could make the bitter pill of fading away easier to swallow.

"I'm very glad that you're safe."

She.. actually hugs me back, without hesitating. Huh. Thought that would be harder.

"You're surprised."
Mazikeen glances at me, a faint smile on her lips.
Very happy to see Mazikeen returning his affections. Brought a smile to my face. Though I am slightly put out that right as she returns we will be having an episode where Oh El's party will presumably not be the focus. Unless the red title and supplementary are somehow total misdirects, and the episode is going to be from Mazikeen's perspective rather than Grayven's.
"Compared to most of the Lord of Hell, you have an excellent reputation."
'Lords'
"I used to be the personal assistant of the one who oversaw things. Theses days I mostly look to my own interests. Cultivating assets, increasing my own knowledge and power and encouraging those who think I should be their pawn to look elsewhere."
'These'
"But not mine." A armoured man of oriental extraction appears from thin air, sword in hand. "Who are you, skeleton?"
'An'
"You believe that Queen Serenity murdered… No. I had no love for her, but she would not do something so horrific."

"I have a suspicious mind, and all of my sources either don't remember, didn't see everything, have a good reason to lie or all three."

"And… Will his memories return?"
Took me a minute to get it, but of course it's referring to the suppression of the guy's memories as murder. Not certain I agree with that definition of identity, but it is a reasonable one.
A desolate wasteland of grey sand greets us.
Anyone got an idea of which fictional Hell this is? A grey sandy (ashy?) wasteland isn't very distinctive, but it isn't ubiquitous.

"Lich and nethermancer, actually. A skeleton would not be able to hold a conversation." He pauses for a moment, then folds his left arm across his chest and makes a shallow bow. "Alejandro Dela Segadora of the Bull Duchy of the Holy… Oh, I forget what dynasty it was. The Holy Whatever Empire. Also called The Shadow of Death. The Netherlord. The Great Lich. Master of the Order of the Void." He shrugs. "But please, call me Sandro."
Titles do tend to accumulate over the centuries.

"Apparently, Queen Serenity did something with the Silver Crystal. I'm trying to be charitable to a dead woman, but it honestly sounds pretty messed up."
Given the initial results of your various resurrectionary efforts I would say you are being very uncharitable. She had one shot to jerry-rigging a mass resurrection with no practice or preparation.

"Or you could take part in one last epic quest with us." I turn to Sandro. "Can you open the portal?"
And you want him along… why, exactly? You have no reason to trust him and no reason to think he would be helpful. Plus you are obligated to bring him back, or at least offer the option.

My best guess is Hueco Mundo, from Bleach

An afterlife that isn't hell or heaven? Yeah is plausible, but why would Blaze be thrown there? Or why would maki have a connection to Hueco Mundo?

Then again if the connection is that they are going to be thrown into different Anime lands because Maki and Blaze are closet weebs then Bleach makes as much sense as Sailor Moon and there Paul isn't so drastically outmatched... Ok maybe he is speed wise because Sonido is combat teleportation with the reaction times to match, OG Paul can do the combat tp, but his reaction times are way below what is needed to sustain combat.

Bleach is an interesting idea. The SI may or may not be able to see most of the plot relevant characters. I guess quincies and fullbringers? But normal humans can't see things like shinigami or hollows. Anyway, whatever local variant got sent there would be utterly screwed, not only definitely not being able to see anything, but also not having a soul, and thus just being dead as soon as plot started happening. I guess there are a couple people who could have created an artificial soul for him, but would they have had a reason to?
