Maybe it could just be the technology the Subnatica MC has and the crashed ship but on a different planet, maybe the different planet could be in the Star Wars or Mass Effect Universe. Some sort of interdimensional rift could have caused the crash instead, which explains why it crashed and ended up in a different universe.
Based on what you said about patreon, there should be at least 1 more black ops chapter ready. Any chance of a QQ publication of it, then a continuation?
