  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Terribly sorry to bother you, but I noticed that you have a separate thread for your HSR fic on SB, but not here on QQ. Love your work. Peace 👍

Yeah, I did it on a whim, I'll do it on QQ eventually, I just made a new thread on QQ the other day and didn't want to do another one so soon.

Mildly curious, given your emphasis on horror settings in many of your fics, have you ever considered the "Fear & Hunger" franchise? It's a fair bit darker in more ways than one than the zombie stuff, but it's sorta neat.

I have checked out both the first game and Termina, but idk if I'm ever doing a fic with them because the stories are pretty self-contained, and unless I make something entirely new it would just become 'Funger but +1 OC'

Huh, neat. Was expecting a "no".

Though, you do make a fair point for both games given how contained and interconnected the characters are. Still would be neat to see if you ever write something with them.

There was an active poll in my second thread that isn't necessary.

I deleted ir, and wondered if that might be what was causing the merger bug,

Ultima found the answer, it seems to be the threadmark index.

So is it possible to merge them, or is that issue permanent?

Gotta upate XF a bit as it seems that got fixed in a patch. Or perhaps deleting a threadmark index would work... If those can be deleted anyway.

Minor one as I finish up some other stories. I have 3 new chapters I need to rework slightly and am building up a buffer.
Is it just me or have you gone through lots of profile pics recently. If so what has spurned this on?

That one is on temporary hiatus at the moment, while I work on other things.
Apparently, I was doing too much of it and people complained.
You still working on Ars turris magni?

TBH, I left it alone because the AI was going weird with it. The tech has come a long way since, so I'll likely end the hiatus before the year ends
Will you be continuing your harry potter fanfic or nah? it look really good

Yosh my main plans/schedule for writing in the future going further is that for every Snippet Idea I do I'll do a chapter for one of my main fics(stories that have their own thread) and vice versa.
So next I'll post another new Snippet sometime this week then after that...The Quest After Rebellion will finally be revived ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

That said I do have a long track record of being completely wrong and extremely unreliable when I make promises or statements like this so believe me at your own risk lol.
Hey you doing good. You haven't updated in 2 months.

Life happened i'm afraid, but I'm working on my drafts again. And hopefully I should be able to upload more than one chapter since I've learned some tips for pacing. So don't expect a monster sized chapter like last time. I've also been making sure not to overlook anything even if I'm trying to start small right now. But thank you for checking in like this.
