All his strength he gained through stealing from other people at opportune times, but never was he thankful for what he gained. Yes, he was molded by buddhist teachings, but that doesn't excuse him for hurting those who were kind to him and being kind to those who were hostile to him. It really makes no sense that this kind of character is a protagonist.

It's like you see the term "dimensional god" in chinese a lot, but it seems like it's referring to "hell lord" in english or something like that in marvel, but it's hard to see how the meaning changed so much in translation
