I found your Dresdenverse isekai by chance the other day and decided to read it.

I loved the game but it didn't inspire me to write a story for it immediately because it was good enough that I didn't really have anything I wanted to "fix"

I wound up writing the original fantasy story The Soul Engine instead, which was inspired by Karlach's Infernal Engine

My dog died this morning. It has not been a good day. I thought I was handling it well and then when I was cataloging his old photos it hit me all at once. Now, every time I think I have it back under control I start crying again. When I'm not, I sit here in this hollow fugue and try not to think about it.
It's been a while, and I hope you come back to write some more. But thank you for what you have written. It's gotten me into FF Online and given me some great memories.
