I found your Dresdenverse isekai by chance the other day and decided to read it.
Just got to the chapter with the Lash soulgaze. Holy fuck, that hit hard.
In the epilogue of "Savage Nature" it was said that Baldurs Gate had just been released.
How do you like the game? Is it possible to wait for a fic on it, or are you not like the universe that much?

I loved the game but it didn't inspire me to write a story for it immediately because it was good enough that I didn't really have anything I wanted to "fix"

I wound up writing the original fantasy story The Soul Engine instead, which was inspired by Karlach's Infernal Engine

My dog died this morning. It has not been a good day. I thought I was handling it well and then when I was cataloging his old photos it hit me all at once. Now, every time I think I have it back under control I start crying again. When I'm not, I sit here in this hollow fugue and try not to think about it.
