A few decent longer Worm fics:

Constellation (not that big by itself yet, but include the omakes and it's MASSIVE; has to be almost 100 omakes for the thing)
And there's always re-reading Worm itself, 1.75 million words isn't to be scoffed at.

Just passed a million actually (counting the threadmarked omakes).
Well on the way to becoming the first Worm fic longer than canon (though IIRC there's another competitor in this category).

Amelia started out good... but there's a point, different for every reader, where enough becomes enough and the narrative becomes too soul-crushing to continue. My experience lasted about 150-200 chapters longer than the average and the fic still kept going afterwards.

Read Wildworm instead. The title indicates an SI, but that's not actually true. It's more like a version of Dire Worm, that trades away the ham for Tarantinoan (or, more appropriately for the crossover source, Wildstormian) snark and ultraviolence.
Cauldron Cape Chronicles was a quest of decent length, but it's been dead for over two years so you can treat it like a fic.
Covenant has been going for a while and it deserves way more attention than it actually receives.

For non-Worm stuff, there's always With This Ring (Young Justice SI with an Orange Lantern Ring), Dynasty of Dynamic Alcoholism (Warhammer Fantasy quest as Ostland), and Ashes of the Past (Pokemon anime-verse Peggy Sue). Those will tide you over for a few months at least.
 
I don't read the widest range of fandoms, but I can point to some good Ranma ½, Naruto, Harry Potter, Fate/Stay Night, and one or two decent Monster Girl Quest (DEFINITELY NSFW, funnily enough two of the best ones have the exact same name, lol.... most of them suck) fics.

Saga of Soul's a decent rationalist original fiction, though we're kinda starved for updates (a year or so since the last update), but the author has repeatedly said it's not dead.

And if you're not familiar with rationalist fiction, I'd HIGHLY recommend you head over to http://www.hpmor.com/ and check out Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. Bonus, it's actually complete. Not sure the total word count, but it's gigantic.

You went and got my hopes up! I can't remember how long it's been since the last update, but I'm almost certain it's been well more than a year.

He's talking about the votes for Slippery Slope, which won't be used because Ack is finishing Slippery Slope on his own prerogative. Since Ack said he's finishing Slippery Slope off, it'll never rejoin the vote pool.

But at the rate Slippery Slope is updating it won't have a chance to rejoin the voting pool before it finishes. Unless Ack is planning a sequel and Slippery Slope 2: Nazi Boogaloo gets to start at the vote count of its predecessor.

So, Trump Card squeaked in with 11 vote points ahead of Wyvern, which will be next in line, then we've got a mess of choices, all over the thousand mark: Hostage Situation, Meet the Heberts, One More Trigger, Recoil and War Games. I can't even begin to pick it.

For anyone who hasn't voted on this thread before, the voting rules go as follows:

1) UP TO six votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
2) First vote is worth six points, second is worth five, and so on.
3) You can't vote twice on the same story. The voting code will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
4) If I say "Voting is CLOSED", then this post comes up, with "Voting is OPEN" at the bottom, then you can vote again.
5) If I say "Voting will continue", it's still the same voting period. Voting has not restarted. You can not vote a second time.
6) If you vote for a story that is not on the voting list, those point(s) will go to the story that got the least number of vote points that round.

Moving to the other end of the spectrum, there's last round's winner, the just-updated Confrontation II picking up 66 votes, followed by Danny & Taylor with 51, and finally, All Alone, which is really struggling, picking up a mere 42 votes. It should thank its lucky stars that the cutdown ended several rounds earlier. As far as the NSFW stories are concerned, NSW continues its stranglehold as the best performer among them, grabbing 77 votes this time around.
