[The Brotherhood of Steel]

Been awhile since I've been here so figured I'd share some ideas bouncing around my head.

1. Cinder is Jaune's adopted sister who's been in love with Jaune ever since he helped rescue her from the glass unicorn. Following him to Beacon her plans on becoming his partner go up in smoke when his childhood friend Amber joins them and makes eye contact first forcing her to pair up with Ruby.

2. Jaune's ancestor John Arc fell in love with a previous fall maiden and made a promise that his bloodline would answer their call if they ever needed help. Fast forward to Amber waking up in the mind of Jaune Arc after her attack. Acting as his Cortana she helps him survive beacon and eventually stop Cinder.

Highlights include:

Everyone thinking Jaune has an imaginary friend/ is crazy until he answers questions that there is no way he could know such as what Blake does late at night in the tree outside her room.

Jaune having to read trashy romance novels alongside Amber which leads to him forming a book club with Blake.

Jaundice being avoided.

Amber pushing Jaune towards Pyrrha because she wants Jaune to have someone watch his back when she's gone. However ends with the three of them getting together once Amber gets her body back.

Cinder getting pranked several times before Amber and Jaune inform Ozpin that she's the one that attacked Amber.

Working title is "There's two of us in here."

3. In order to make money during the break between semesters JNPR (Pyrrha is just tagging along) rents themselves out as kids for parents that need children for events and other functions.

Jaune gets rented by willow and helps her with her Alcoholism and convinces her to divorce Jaques.

Now gets rented by kali and becomes officially adopted becoming the next Ruler of Menagerie.

Pyrrha gets rented by Raven and beats her in a fight becoming the new leader of the tribe.

Ren gets rented by Tai and they go fishing.

Omake has them get adopted by Salem.

4. Jaune's semblance sends him to different realities at random for causing him to return a day later in Remnant's time but for him it's often time weeks or months. The plus side is he often returns with training, skills, abilities, and items from the other realities. The downside (for the rwby girls) is the women following him back and staking their claim.

Would be funny for this ozpin finds out but decides to make sure that date goes well. As any time Salem has a romantic partner, for 100 plus years grimm attacks go down.

Jaune will be jaune as all of Ozpin advice just sucks. There is a reason on why if he doesnt drop in a host with a relationship he is always single.

Probably but I think it be funny with him be at it so long and he has troubles rembering what the courtship of the era that he mixes them up from previous eras. Like ripping the heart of your enemies to give as a engagement gift was popular in one era but if he would do it now he get in trouble.

Now for an unknown amount of hosts he was massively depressed amd then he got into consumed into his work to stop salem. So he probaly doesnt have much experience of starting to date someone but being a husband and in a relationship.

that and being emotionally intelligent and socially / academically / street smart are all radically different things and the idea Jaune see's that while CRWBY! Weiss pulled a sword on Whitley, as 9/10 Weiss was the holder of the braincell in canon

It's a great start! I did do a lot of worldbuilding for Mistral that it was in the midst of a civil war instigated by Lionheart but how to incorporate it into the main story has eluded me.

I think it adds a nice touch and since you put so much effort into giving Mistral a deeper lore and world building why not use one of the crazier incidents in Chinese history ( but not the craziest that was the rebellion launched by Jesus's brother that killed more people than WW1) and it gives our ragtag heroes an interesting challenge

If i was writing would probably put it it that she needs to build up the grimm goo before summoning/ creating more grimm. And her actions at atlas used up her massive supply to create that massive flying whale thing grimm. As this is her so close to her endgame she has to pull all the stops. If she fails she have to wait centuries before she could pull off another feat like that. It would tie in with the kaju grimm as they were result of various plans that failed over the centuries.

I proposed a solution that a lot of people disagreed with me on a discord server.

We say via Cinder that Aura and Grimm do not mash well together. So I proposed a strategy I thought of back in the day.

Ruby blasts Salem with Silver Eyes, that petrifies the Grimm substrate around her, then Jaune uses his Aura amp and as a beautiful mirror to what Pyrrha did for him, he awakens Salem's Aura.

Pyrrha almost fainted awakening his, and considering it was the Rusted Knight, it makes me think that Old Souls would have a lot of effort required to awaken Aura.

SO you can make a sacrificial play with Jaune here. (He sacrifices THE ROOOOOOKKK!)

Reason I say to awaken Aura to make sure she cannot go for skinny dipping again in a Grimm pool, and if she does then she goes through agony.

Cause the biggest problem ain't even her magic, it's her ability to make Grimm and control them en masse.

Take that out and you can make a perpetual energy machine out of her and her magic.

Salem got back up, the black blood she'd been leaking crawling back into her skin as her flesh knitted together. "It's hopeless, I am the darkness, I am eternal, I am the true immortal!"

Glynda glared at her, angry beyond words as she racked her brain for a solution, suddenly she smiled and she began to laugh, genuinely amused.

"Did you break so soon? I expected more," Salem said disappointment clear in her tone.

"Oh you poor, poor idiot," Glynda said as pieces of the wrecked bulkhead nearby began to tear itself loose. "I have students who I am half convinced are autistic."

"And?" Salem asked, not sure what that had to do with her being an unstoppable force that the woman had no hope of defeating.

"And they tell me all sorts of interesting facts, interesting to them at least," Glynda said with a smile as metal warped and tore, becoming threads in the air around them. "Do you know that mankind loses things beneath the earth for centuries at a time and that for every ten inches below three feet the amount of time it stays lost increase by a factor of twelve?"

"I've broken you," Salem said with a heavy sigh. "You look so much like me when I was younger that I thought you'd be stronger, but here you are babbling random trivia at me."

"Jaune takes an interest in archeology," Glynda said amused as the ground began to crack between them a rift opening in the ground. "Ruby however does enjoy trivia and do you know one of the 'facts' she read on her scroll she told me about?"

"No, what?" Salem asked, already bored, her fun having vanished with the sanity of Ozpin's substitute for her.

"The chances of becoming buried alive increase the longer you live, so if one were immortal they would eventually end up buried alive at some point," Glynda said, eyes flashing as the crack in the earth opened even wider and deeper as thread of steel engulfed the suddenly screaming Salem.

She is about to leave after planting the virus at the tower but she stumbles on a slightly depressed jaune and so she put an act on and before she knows it Jaune takes her to the dance and they are dancing. And she becomes his girlfriend. Now she fighting her feelings towards jaune while to her surprise she ends up telling her about her past.

2. Another one jaune and cinder on a joint mission to show the ties between the schools. Ended up getting stranded after they fell off a cliff and swept away when they got broken because of a sudden surge of a grimm attack.

3. Maiden Cinder captured Salem latest agent/ creation a pure grimm hybrid and to her shock its her childhood friend that went missing after sacrificing himself to save her. Jaune arc so now she is trying to bring back his humanity as she can see it inside him

4. An interview of the hip new show becaon and its married actor and actress jaune arc and Cinder Arc being interview on how they deal with being a happily married couple with kids while on the show they are mortal enemies
