Wyvern - Worm AU fanfic

The same way every other city with strong villain organizations, the Protectorate and PRT. Note that they have more free rein here as well without Lung being there to fuck things up if they make any mistakes or accidentally start a gang war, although there are likely still several smaller gangs with the E88 as a large one. Without the presence of multiple factions that have the potential to defeat them though they should be doing much better, really just no Lung means they should be doing better as he alone caused significant damage to them.

I do wonder how the Japan Leviathan fight went without Lung. Did it go better because Lung wasn't there to infinitely escalate things? Did it go worse because Lung wasn't there to drive it off? Perhaps the island didn't sink, or maybe MORE of them sank.

I remember something about Oni Lee being in charge until Lung arrived to take over.
I believe Lung recruited Oni Lee.

In any case, Kenta is definitely around. It's just that he isn't Lung.

Eh, Armsy wouldn't be the one to go browsing dragon pics.
No, he'd be browsing Dragon pics. *eyebrow waggle*

As long as Amy gets to ride her first, I think all will be forgiven.
*puerile giggle*

Suddenly All the girls want to ride Taylor. Somewhere Sarah is giggling without knowing why.
This comment wins my approval. I'm told that this should fill you with shame.

You do realise that Taylor is human sized.
She is the EXACT size of one Taylor Hebert, in fact! I feel we should measure everything via this method. Armsmaster, for example, is probably around 1.2 Taylor Heberts. (TaHe, for short.)

Unfortunately, Glory will have to get the first ride to see if it's safe for someone without mover and/or brute powers.
She'll have to make people sign a waiver: "You will get wet on this ride. (Also, possibly whiplash, broken bones, exhaustion, and the sudden need to take a nap.)"

Plus, as Ack said. She ain't all that big in the first place.
Yeah, yeah, I know. It might be a tight squeeze, but I think she'll fit.
*puerile giggles*

That's odd. I thought this was a lesbian Vicky/Taylor (+ yandere Amy) mostly-SFW fic.
Where do you get these ideas?

I just want to see Taylor forming positive relationships with the New Wave, and maybe see Amy get to experience something with Taylor that she's already shared with Vicky - only, you know, with more straddling involved.

(Because Vicky can just carry her when they go flying.)

Okay, joking aside, the only real way that Taylor can carry anyone while flying is clutched in the claws of her hind legs. Because the wing-membranes go down to her pelvic region, which is behind her centre of gravity. To sit on her back over her centre of gravity, you'd have to be cross-legged or something.

Are there any pointy bits up by her shoulder blades that someone smaller than Taylor could grab on to? This isn't much of an option in the short term, but if she gets big enough to carry an adult on her back then the passenger could lie on their stomach.

Well Amy could reform Taylor's wings to give her leg holes...
I highly doubt she would, but she's capable of it.

Unless Taylor's Changer power beats Amy's Striker power. That seems unlikely, but we can't know for sure until they try it.

My thought was, well, maybe Amy can just lie prone on top of her and throw her arms around Taylor's neck? It's not the most imaginative position, but ... dunno. Seems like it could work.

I'm a little bummed about the lack of straddling, though. I imagine that goes for all concerned.

Note that Amy is heavier than Taylor.

When Taylor changes, she does gain a little mass, but this still means that Taylor would be working at lifting her own mass, plus almost as much again.

Not saying she couldn't, but ...

Holy shit. If you even try to justify that I will break out the math again. Looking back at chapter one, I don't think Taylor was flapping constantly, and didn't even show signs of being winded (yeah, yeah, hardy har har, winded, flying...), but her ability to fly is already in question. Last time I didn't consider exactly how much air Taylor would displace with each flap of her wings, and just approximated based on other flying creatures. If it comes up again, I will break out the cubic centimeters, and will not be happy about it.

Calm down guys, Taylor would need to be approximately twice the size of the person she would be carrying or else the person would interfere with her wing mobility. (Or one size larger in D&D terms :p )

The reason she wasn't flapping all the time was that flying is actually hard work; she was catching her breath while gliding.

She has about 50 square feet of wing surface, and muscles optimised for flying. Because wyvern.

Right now, she can not carry an adult human, even hanging on to them by her feet, but she might just be able to carry someone her own size. For short distances, With a lot of effort.

Seriously, wow. I write a straight SFW Taylor fic, and you guys find smutty ideas in the weirdest places.
What can I say? Some people like a challenge!

You have my deepest admiration. I'm gonna go wash my hands now.
Oh, soap and water won't remove THAT stain. Try a belt sander.

There's no part of that post I don't like.

Wow, you guys.

Just ... wow.

When Amy meets Taylor, she's gonna be blushing just from the sheer pressure of fan ships.
To be fair, my comment was aimed more at you response to the topic, rather than a comment on the topic itself. :pThat was just too good a line not to post once it popped into the non-euclidean jumble that is my mind.:D
You know I just have to wander what effect the escalation portion of Lung's power set will have.
The escalation portion of the powers was covered when Taylor got them.

Shard took one look and said, "Whelp, no help needed there."

Assuming there actually is an escalation element and not just the wyvern form, perhaps it's attached to the breath weapon. If the fire breath scales or unlocks addition levels based on objective or subjective threat assessment it would explain why she didn't have any sense of her options until she needed them.

The regeneration/enhanced toughness might be linked to escalation also/instead.

I really doubt her breath needs escalation. She shot off Armsmaster's halberd's head without him noticing. So that was almost all heat. Enough to reduce it to slag in less than a second. There aren't that many that would be able to get up after that.
