Kingdom Come Superman was effectively immune to kryptonite, apparently his solar reserve had just gotten large enough that kryptonite doesn't make a difference anymore. Kind of like trying to stop a forest fire with a bucket of water, I suppose.

I thought that Demon Superman was so full of demon mojo that the same phenomenon was happening there.

 

Are you sure that's Kingdom Come Superman? I might well be misremembering, but I don't remember kryptonite featuring in that story.

Yes, Lex mentioned in story that Superman evolved past his kryptonite weakness and someone used kryptonite gas only for Superman to stand around unaffected.

So someone hadn't gotten the memo. Sadly Supes is too dignified to do the Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny faking his death skit.

 

Or this is another case like with Supergirl where only his specific universe's Kryptonite effects him.

Honestly, I find both Mr. Terrifics sort of hilarious, in an unintentionally hypocritical way. "Oh, I'm a super-intelligent prodigy at everything! I've become super-wealthy because of the immense privilege I possess! What should my slogan as a superhero be? I know! 'Fair play'!"

Let's not even discuss how the anti-racist subtext of the second one's slogan gets distorted by the hypocrisy of it.

What are T-Spheres supposed to do? Are they just generic super-tech or do they have a specific purpose?

 

They're Mister Terrific's all purpose equipment, from bombs to hologram emitters to computer interfaces to fast moving projectiles.

Yes, that's his true superpower. Third smartest man on Earth with at least 14 PH.Ds (Presumably Lex Luthor is above him.) Everything else? That's pure human achievement, including Olympic medalist-tier fitness, sheer toughness and raw determination that I'm amazed has never earned him a green ring.

I have the feeling this fight could turn bad any second. Or, if their plan works, it'll be over in minutes. Either way, things will soon be done and over with. Hopefully by super-punching Rakkar right out of Demon-Superman... And then comes the next problem: How to get everyone back to their respective worlds of origin. The Nazi's method was sloppy at best, you can't rely on random portals, and OL never did find out how Truggs was crossing the dimensional barriers, did he?

The Smurfs probably has him on the "Do Not Recruit" list: The T-spheres are kind of like a first attempt at a semi-autonomous all-purpose tool/weapon, so they wouldn't like him getting a good look at the most advanced all-purpose tool/weapon in the universe.

 

Even if it has you could always bring home some of those T-Spheres to gift him. Get him the chance to bring about the same level of technological wonder for 16?

Oh come now! You know perfectly well the only reason he's called Flash is to make flash puns!

 

It looks like these T-Spheres are using demonic magitech, so giving them to people to reverse-engineer seems like a rather poor idea. That's how you wind up with demons possessing computers and running amok on the Internet or something.
