    That's not the way an omnipotent millenia old being talks, if an author isn't capable of writing an interesting R.O.B. then they shoyldn't bother with it, just have the person suddenly in the other world and spare yourself the embarassment.

    More importantly the SI should absolutely not act like they do in 99% percent of R.O.B. stories. I don't care how cynic or genre savvy you are, you're never going to be impassive or annoyed let alone talk back to the ROB. Let's be honest, none of these authors would behave like this if a pissed off guy with a gun was in front of them let alone a ROB.
