Are you familiar with the game series Dominions? (the most recent is Dominions 5 and they essentially remake the same game with a better engine). As I listen to the audiobooks of Daniel Black that I just bought, it strikes me that Dominions is very similar to the world that you build to. Some of us were having a debate on spacebattles about mechanics in the Daniel Black series. Specifically, for conjuration, does it just summon stuff that already exists somewhere in the world, or does it create it, say, from extra-dimensional void-stuff? Or is it something else?

It's honestly my favorite system apocalypse story thus far. The system is great and allows for almost anything, and it's one of the few SA stories where the protagonist(s) actually act like real people instead of caricatures running around doing suicidal nonsense and being rewarded because of plot armor.Just finished rereading Indominable. It's been a long time since you provided an update on the 2nd Alice Long Book and that update said you were making good progress.
