What's the difference in terms of 200 and 400 for space taken in terms of module slots? And the required time it takes to build our pet?

 

Huh. For some reason I'd been thinking that "pets" were equivalent to crew, but now it's sounding like they can be ships?

Or did you mean "combat" as in boarding actions?

 

Hmm I want to see what else we could buy but can't think of what to look for.

More weapons, or at least finding out the pricetags on stuff better than what we have right now is like sounds good to me.

Looking up ways we can tinker with our personal girl-body would also be a point of interest if possible.

 

Honestly until it came to the last few paragraphs I thought that was what we were being offered from the shop, I'm still pretty sure it's a hull crawling turret system.

Quick question, are our repair drones fully restocked or did we give the fast repair system entirely over to Big sis. It's been bugging me for the last few updates.

 

We gave her the supply of repair drones we had on hand and then fabbed up some more is my understanding of how it worked, and will work in the future. Kind of the same way the pet would work.

She must have Big Guns... Also primary role would be Ship Defense, we'd need to shuffle some of our insides around but, ideally she/he/hideyoshi should be able to reach any of our key spots without too much trouble.

I think getting schematics for the androids and building a couple would be a good idea- it would give us some interior defense in case an enemy manages to board us. The only other options we would have would basically amount to attacking them with our repair drones, which doesn't sound like it would work well. As tempting as just going to look at other stuff is I think covering a hole in our defenses that I for one didn't even realize was there until now is more important. Went ahead and added what to do after that as a subvote under it in case Bii doesn't have any other plans for after this update.

Also, just thought of something else- if we buy the schematics can we share them with the rest of our group too in case they want to make some of their own? If so it has even more value as a present as well.

Wait aren't we looking at human sized pets? How does Armor and Weapons affect sizes that much?

 

So basically mobile guns on the outside of our hull? Still sounds good to me, even if it doesn't give us any interior defenses. Going to need to look into finding something to protect us from boarding parties though, that seems important now that the possibility was brought up.

 

Ah so a literal SHIP pet?

 

Huh, I thought the term Pets were for people or small robots?

 

You have to think on the scale of a ship. To them a human is equal to what we would consider a pet ant. And a large weapon emplacement a pet gerbil.

 

We're a cruiser, so something to help with fighters would likely be the best bet. But something to pick off wounded escorts would not be remiss.
