You are Montmorency, of the family Montmorency, and this night is
not going as planned. You had meant to merely go collect some ingredients from the woods, with the company of your new friend Louise, who isn't as bad as the rumors painted out, and your sort of boyfriend Guiche.
You had not planned on being drawn into combat with a giant stone golem, more then three stories tall, a golem meister that doesn't seem to be anywhere, a classmate who displayed what has to be at least a triangle class firespell, is now throwing lighting, an advanced type of air magic, and is using some fire/air spell to grant flight on you all repeatedly. On, and Guiche is swarming the thing with his Valkyries. Which isn't actually doing much, admittedly, but seems very distracting...
...You are feeling very inadequate, for some reason. And, for that matt-
Ohgodwatchoutforthattreewhyisthegolemthrowingthingsatyou-er, where are the staff? You'd think that, perhaps, having a giant golem attack the school would get there attention, yes?
Indeed, this is not how you expected your evening to go.
And then, of course, because the Founder must hate you if you are being put through this, the doors to the main vault explodes and an army of golden golems swarm out. And still no sight of the earth mage behind this.. Huh, you didn't know Guiche could make that many golems. Judging by his sweat and suprised look on his face, neither did he..
Sadly, you are then distracted from properly considering what is going on by the fact that the giant golem is no longer distracted, and is now throwing even bigger chunks of stuff at you as it fails to get into swatting range. Like that giant chunk of wall that just missed you.
Wait, why is Louse glowing like that?.. Did her hair just catch on fire?!? And now she's-

Well, the good news is that Louise released some sort of energy wave that exploded every golem on the field, big or small, Guiche's or not. The bad news is that she seems to have burnt most of her uniform off, set her hair on fire, and smells like cooked pig. Oh, and a tendril of.. something, colored in the shape of violence and passion, shaded with rot, pealed off her while she was doing that and seemingly grounded itself through you. You think it's time to take a nap now...

You are Guiche de Gramont, and this day is not going well. You have just been through a large battle, you've almost completely tapped out of all your willpower, your allies (And girlfriend. Or at least you hope she's your girlfriend) have just collapsed onto the ground and look in very bad shape, and no one at all has come to investigate the battle. Oh, and now that said battle is over, you can see the flickering light changing of something that is on fire and moving in the main hall of the building. (Damn that fire mage father hired to teach you tactics last summer, those blasts hurt) And hear the sound of impacts, come to think of it.
And now strange whispy.. fight colored?.. Whisps are floating around the field.. and.. huh, you just refilled a bit of willpower when you touched one. And felt funny. That probably means something. You aren't sure what though..
