Then I bummed a cigarette.

Haven't had one in a while.

I actually do have a number through google for when I'm on wifi only, like right now (McDonalds parking lot).

The biggest pinch is that the number of my cell is the security for unemployment which I am already brutally struggling with.

Hate to say it, but I think I have to go back to Pensacola.
I mean, I feel like I'd rather die, but I already failed my serious attempt at suicide and I kinda know the territory there.

I never thought I'd be in a situation where I would rather have cancer, but here we are.

I might get lucky I still have a bit of a cough after all those antibiotics and shit. Maybe all those years I spent smoking have caught up with me.

Either way I have gas in the tank so I'll see if it's enough.

Here's an issue: I'm sleep deprived. I can't drive long distances in one go.

I'm taking this trip the same way you eat an elephant; one bite at a time.
Not big bites either, at least not big compared to the distance needing to be covered.

Trying to grow a beard. Still shaving my scalp and neck, but leaving the rest.

Not sure how it's gonna look, most of my beard is white, just like my remaining hair is, but hell, why not?

Give it a couple of weeks to grow in and see what I end up with.

Also, this free wifi is not letting me access literotica. Very annoying.

I'll soon start the nightly routine of trying to sleep. We'll see how that goes.

Depending on how persistent or severe said brain fog is, the answer might be sleep, caffeine, water, going to a doctor to get a CT/MRI scan of your head, or making an appointment with a psychologist/psychiatrist to get proper medication.

EDIT; talked to unemployment, as usual they were vague as shit and committed to nothing. I have yet to get a single red cent from them.

Growing a beard is kinda annoying. Especially when most of it is white with scattered brown. Looks like hell right now, but it's something to concentrate on that isn't the dire pile of shit my life is right now.

Got four and a half hours of sleep last night. New record for recent times.

Free Wi-Fi hunting is ass. Truck stops don't have it, it's apparently another way to suck money out of truckers. Paid Wi-Fi only

McDonald's and Starbucks are the most consistent providers.

Still can't stay on the highway for long stretches, no hallucinations though I just get exhausted super fast.

Goddamn do I need a shower.

most of my stories are just people being stupid. Though I've seen people shot stabbed and runner at various places as I was dropping of freight.

But once I was coming back from a run down to a boatyard in middle of nowhere. Nearest town was a little 1500 person town 17 miles away. Only one road down to the boatyard 17 miles through dying forest and salt marsh. It's winter and it's snowing. As I was coming back I saw something BIG. Bigger than a deer bigger than a cow too far and too much snow to identify. But it wasn't livestock wasn't hoover you could tell from how it moved. It came out of a thicket of dying pines linked into the 10ish ft tall marsh grass and vanished. Then reappeared going into deep water and submerged. Whole time just the sight of it gave me a bad feeling.

Was reading some 'book memes' while bored at work, got to one labeled "Midwest Gothic" talking about things like the dog looking at something in the woods and being glad he couldn't see it, cats dropping something dead on the porch, not sure what it is, don't want to know.

Being glad when it's a corn year because you can't see what stalks the fields at night, can pretend it isn't there, but when its a soy year you can't help but notice it.

...I don't know what soy plants look like, so my first thought was that the creatures were being detected because of the sounds and smells, reacting the same way as I do to soy products.

Corn is tall soy is short so thing can hide in cornfield but not soy or shortstalk wheat. And flat out you run into weird stuff away from populated areas.

Dozed off for a quick nightmare on the can in a rest area. That was dignified. Especially since there were people in there when I snapped awake with a squeal.

Almost there. In Santa Rosa county less than a quarter tank of gas. Almost there.

I wish I could just sleep. I'm so tired.

I wish my phone worked. I have so much to do.

My car always tells me what direction it's pointed in. Which is pretty neat. Helps me figure out how best to park to maximize shade during the day.

I'm parked just outside the parking lot of a McDonald's and the Wi-Fi reaches me just fine. Shade looks decent.

I don't have the energy to try panhandling right now, I barely have the energy for typing on the phone.

Gonna try and get some sleep.

To stand out, make sure you have a good blend of smut with your plot. Leave the sexless stories for other, lesser sites.
Check out "Delightful Duty" in NSFW CW for the right blend of plot and fucking.

As far as things to avoid? There isn't precisely a specific list of forbidden topics, even the stupidest edgy shit can find an audience. Also, pretty much anything will have detractors. Even simple shit like having a female protagonist will get at least one poster with sand in their vag about it.

I'd recommend avoiding Idiot Plots and Idiot Balls as a rule though as they tend to make more people pissy.

Now, to talk about me:

Right now I'm back. Low on gas and feeling absolutely awful about life. Pensafuckingcola.
I remember being so sure I'd never come back and now here I am.

Fuck.

I also got back late enough that I won't be able to get anything done until Monday, which is great.

Ugh.


So here I am in the parking lot of the office where I can most directly work on my unemployment stuff (for all the good that's ever been) and can't do shit til Monday.

At least there's a McDonald's right here to leech Wi-Fi off of.

Tired, dirty, depressed.

Growing in a beard is going to be an exercise in patience. It's been just over a week and there's a long way to go to get it filled in. Month or two to reach the goal is apparently the average.
Still, keeping my neck clear of whiskers does help keep the current stage from looking too vile. Last thing I want is a literal neck beard.

Down to an eighth of a tank of gas and four bucks.
I am not looking forward to spending all weekend in this parking lot, but I seem to be out of options. It's a terrible place to panhandle too, bad through traffic.

Honestly, I'd rather go down to the beach or something, but gas and phone. At least this parking lot has Wi-Fi I can leech.
